Nokia Global Systems, Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Finland National Holdings Corporation, and strives to become the leader in global telecommunications. As part of its $41 billion portfolio, the state-owned Finland Telecom has recently signed a $20 billion dollar contract for Nokia Global Systems, Ltd to provide 4G LTE through a nationwide system of cell towers, all linked by fiber optic cable to be resistant against EMP bursts. The cellular network will also have many physical access locations, especially in Finnish government locations and defense centers for use of the fiber optic system even if the cellular network is not functioning. Nokia Global Systems, Ltd, in addition to providing telecommunications infrastructure, also supplies telecommunications consumer equipment such as cellular phones and wireless access points.
