As you know, we just had some elections, and they were pretty rad! We even have a totally new government member. Unfortunately that new government member is Gloin, but let's try to make the best of it. Returning as Raptor Lady of Diplomacy after the closest vote of this election period is [b]SilverEmpress[/b], who not only has two X chromosomes but is also totally qualified! Returning as Raptor Lady of Finance is [b]DivineProportion[/b], who I am legally forbidden to describe due to a restraining order. N--No regrets, I guess! Returning as Raptor Lord of War is [b]Sandler[/b], who my handlers have just informed me is The Worst. Returning as Raptor Lord of Development is [b]Magister Agricolarum[/b], who has been one of Deinos' shining lights for over a century. And finally, for his first ever term in Deinosian government, I give you your new Raptor Lord of the Interior, [b]Gloin[/b]! According to Wikipedia, Gloin is one of the twelve companions of Thorin II Oakenshield and Bilbo Baggins on the Quest of Erebor. He was a descendant of Durin the Deathless, and brother of Óin. Glóin and his son Gimli were sent to Rivendell as an embassy from Dáin II to bring news of Erebor, Moria, and what they knew of Sauron's plans; they arrived in time to attend the Council of Elrond. He is set to be played by Peter Hambleton in Peter Jackson's live-action, cinema production of The Hobbit. He was a playable hero in the Dwarven Faction in the Electronic Arts Real-Time Strategy game The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II, and specialized in attacks that would either destroy or disable the opponents' buildings. For those that are totes out of the loop, I'm still the Tyrant King, wielding horrific power over my terrified citizens. Bones Malones is returning for a second term as Utahraptor Prince. Anyways, hopefully now folks won't be all "Oh geez I wonder who Deinos is going to elect to their Second Court of Lords!".
