Fizzydog
Meteorologists watching the Atlantic Ocean have sighted a large storm gathering around 100 miles away from the Western Saharah coast. The gigantic storm is suspected to be the cause of several Alliance ships that have disappeared in the Atlantic during the last two days. All ports have been shut down in GWA, and depending on what direction the storm takes, a major evacuation of Morroco and Western Saharah may be imminent. Citizens are expected to prepare for the worst, and many outdoor events have been canceled due to this announcement. Due to GWA's relatively dry climate, this storm is not only unexpected but rare. Winds over 250 miles per hour have been unofficialy documented, whipping ocean water into the air and tipping ships over. Coastal cities in WS have already been subject to minor thunderstorms. All citizens are advised to purchase an emergency radio in the event that power is lost, so communication with government officials is still possible. All ships leaving GWA have been called back, and GWA advises Mediteranean nations to not send ships out into the Atlantic until this storm is over. ~ GWA News Netowrk

Sargun II
In an effort to cause the storm to not have lightning, a janitor used his all-access keys to launch a series of EMP-missiles into the storm, where they erupted with brilliance, showering the storm's radius with EMP waves. Kaiser Martens
-"Lord Martens, we have detected a series of EMP missiles being launched from the UK. They have hit a storm in the south." -"Hmm. I am sure that they are up to something. Maybe they expect to counter our Storm Weaponization Program that way. I do not know. But please do ramp up the construction of EMP missiles immediately. We cannot afford to fall behind. Also contact Fegelowski and find out how the project is going." -"Jawohl." Axolotlia
Upon acknowledgment of EMP blasts in the region, the PRA sent the following message to The GWA: [quote]To: GWA Government From: The PRA Office of Defense We have confirmed EMP blasts in the region, in international waters close to your territories. We notified you previously of the salvage operations, and now we have reports which could have undermined and hampered the success of the operation. Fizzydog
Gina Hammond moved from America to Western Africa in search of a job teaching english. Living in El Aaiún, she was prepared for the large storm incoming. Gina placed candles around the house, and unplugged all cords. Many announcements had been made on the radio that the rain would knock out the power, and she did not want to be in the dark during this monster storm. Just looking from her apartment window, Gina was shocked by the fierce nature of the storm. She could see lighting and hear the thunder, but something else was...different to her. The screams below startled the woman. She could see a...boat? A boat was flying through the streets, smashing cars. Not a large tanker or anything, just a small speedboat, but boats usually don't go on land, and even so, El Aaiun isn't on the ocean side... Then it started raining. Not the soft, usual rain that starts before a storm, but heavy, huge drops falling at a rate Gina had never seen before. In mere seconds, the streets were already little rivers, sweeping small objecs with them. And the wind. When it started, it was going at around 100 miles per hour. It eventually picked up to an incredible 214 mph, sweeping citizens and vehicles around like ragdolls. The waves from the ocean a good couple of miles or so away were somehow sending water deep downtown, flooding many homes and destroying entire coastal cities. Gina's apartment began shaking, knocking her to her feet. A loud crackle was heard, and the power went out. Her room was soon swamped with water, and the winds began putting an unbearable strain on the supports. A huge groan was audible to all residents in the building, and soon it was on its way to the ground, taking Gina and her candles with it. Soon, El Aaiun was but a swamp, and the wind had torn most buildings down. As it moved across Morocco and Western Sahara, even more major cities lost communication and were heavily damaged, while small villages and towns were all but gone. BREAKING NEWS: "We're getting reports that the massive storm spotted in the Atlantic was much more powerful than expected, and casualties may be anywhere from the hundreds to the thousands. Communication with cities such as El Aaiun, Casablanca and even our capital of Rabat has been completely lost, and-..........Yes, we're getting confirmations now that....that El Aaiun has been obliterated by the storm. Rabat is submerged...it's confirmed, all coastal cities in Morocco and Western Sahara are completely gone. The storm is beginning to break up, and it's expected that minor thunderstorms may hit Algeria. Yes, the entire province of Casablanca is submerged in at least an inch of water. Very little remains of the coastal regions of Morocco. Casaulties range anywhere from 500,000 to 4,000,000. Major damages on all coastal cities. Please wait for official instructions." OoC: I have plans for this. I just wanted to destroy my country. :V
Axolotlia
Classified message to The GWA: "We are not in school. You do not simply confiscate sovereign equipment. We urge you to reconsider your actions, but will take any 'confiscation' or hampering as a legitimate act of war against The PRA." The convoy approaches the GWA border, while the C-130 with the paratroopers is about to begin the drop above the DZ. Additionally due to the possible aggression by The GWA, 100 SA-21 Anti-Air Vehicles, 50 AS-90 Artillery, 400 Merkava MBTs, 300 BTR-90 APCs, and 28,000 soldiers have been positioned along the PRA western border, with air assets at maximum readiness. Axolotlia
Edit: OoC: W/e IC: The paratroopers drop down on the DZ only to discover that the helicopters, for the most part are gone. They radio the report to the field commander in an encrypted radio frequency: "Sir we have landed in The GWA, in drop zone Hotel. The Apaches are no where to be found." "Are you sure you landed in the right area?" "Yes sir" "Well, this leaves us no choice. Thank you for your report lieutenant" *end transmission* The field commander orders the convoy to detain the border guards and secure a perimeter, and reports the situation to Abdul-Aziz. The forces along the Western border are ordered to be ready to attack The GWA. The PRA Airforce is given targets, from the satellite imagery provided by The UFE. We warned The GWA ahead of time that any actions which involved The GWA coming into possession of these helicopter remains would be taken as an act of war. As such we find it horrendous that they would take such actions. Because of these actions, The People's Republic of Africa hereby recognizes a state of war with The Great Western Alliance." Abdul-Haqq Ibn Waffles Classified: This announcement comes just as PRA warplanes release their munitions on their designated targets. Fizzydog
Unfortunately for the Great Western Alliance, this announcement was not recieved due to the high destruction caused by the storm. As such, the military was unprepared for any attacks. Casaulties were enormous, and confusion soon spread through the Western Alliance. The government was nowhere to be seen. The last heard of them was in Rabat, hours before the storm hit.
Axolotlia
Unaware of the anarchical state of The GWA, PRA tanks and APCs began to advance along the GWA western frontier, headed for the capital. The forces were followed by 12 A-10s for close air support if necessary. OoC: No resistance?
Fizzydog
OoC: There will be resistance, but you should've attacked once I RECOVERED. By the way, the entire capital is leveled, so once you get there... IC: The tanks would soon be attacked by mobs of angry soldiers. Stationed across various cities and military bases, they began to form and fire upon PRA soldiers. A couple dozen PAK-FAs took to the air to assault the invading enemy force, and one hundred Altay tanks began to roll their way towards PRA military soldiers. EXTREMELY CLASSIFIED: Because of its anarchial state, a small group of generals huddled underground, debating whether or not to launch nuclear missiles. After a 4-1 vote approving, 2 nuclear missiles headed their way towards PRA forces, though intelligence was screwed up and the missiles would be very inaccurate. OoC: better?
