Today I am delighted to announce the second season of CN Star League. The First Season of the Cybernations Starleague was epic, as Lord Brendon took down opponent after opponent, losing just a single game (to a cheesy cannon rush) the entire season. Ska, our runner up, is aiming for his first championship! Blade-X, Stalk and Stealth, are all looking to redeem themselves for earlier round losses than they had anticipated. New faces are sure to be seen. To all of those who have a North American Starcraft 2 account or a European account (Yes we have a way for our European friends to play!), here is your chance to earn glory for you and your alliance, as well as take home some loot as well! The Starleague will Run from April 18 til late July (depending on how many people we have!) [b]Round of 32[/b] This will be a group round with 8 groups of 4 players fighting for 2 qualifying spots to the Round of 16. Maps will be selected randomly and assigned for each match, with a tiebreaker if necessary. [b]Round of 16[/b] This will be another group round with 4 groups of 4 going for 2 qualifying spots into the Quarterfinals. The rules are the same as the Round of 32. [b]Quarterfinals[/b] This will be a Best of 5 elimination match between 2 players. The players may veto 2 maps from the regular map pool. The referee will then select the remaining maps randomly as well as choose one non - standard map from the ICcup map pool. These Games will be casted. [b]Semifinals: [/b] This will be a Best of 5 elimination match between 2 players with the same rules as the Quarterfinals. These Games will be Casted. [b]Grand Finals [/b] This will be a Best of Seven elimination match between the remaining 2 players. The maps will be randomly selected from either the ICcup Map pool or the standard map (5 Standard Maps and 2 ICcup maps). This match will be Casted Rules will be released when signups close February 6th. To sign up please post below with the Following.
