People of every political ideology are protesting the Athenian-style Democracy (Athenian meaning Democracy similar to that of the ancient City-State of Athens) following Free-Market Capitalist policies. Socialists demand a Democracy with Socialist policies concerning economy and welfare. Communists want a government adhering to the people's interests. Republicans want a Roman-style Republic in place of the Democracy. Monarchists want a King or Emperor to reign over the country. A fringe group of Fascists wish there would be a Fascist state established. And a tiny lunatic-minded Church from northern Nova Scotia demands that there be a Theocracy established. All of these groups are violently clashing with those still loyal to the government and with each other. Government troops were moved into the towns and cities affected by the riots to help local police to help restore order. The riots have lasted several days, with 83 rioters, 41 policemen, 20 soldiers, and 39 innocent people being killed thus far, with some 282 being wounded. The Committee of defence has orderd that Task Force Arrowhead will be deployed to Nova Scotia to take controll of the county and maintain security. The Commando Regiment was the first to Deploy at Halifax, they would secure the airport and the surrounding suburbs. The Labrador Dragoons would then deploy, proving armoured support. Meanwhile, the Labrador Regiment was flying across to Nova Scotia from Newfoundland, they will occupythe otwn of Sydney. Once Halifax was in the hands of Task Force Arrowhead, the Sait-Pierre Régiment would deploy and secure the surrounding countryside. General Arthur McCraw, commander of the Operation Frontier Jesus, issued a broadcast to the Nova Scotian government: "The Nova Scotian government has proven itself to be incapable of governing, the government will dissolve and the Nova Scotian military will disband. [b]CLASSIFIED[/b] The Parachute Regiment and the Labrador Regiment(Airmoblie) had captured a numer of stetigic towns along the [i]Nova Scotian 104[/i] and the [i]Trans-Canadain Highway[/i]. Taskforce Arrowhead had branched out occupying much of the north-east side of the city. The Saint-Pierre Régiment was currently being deployed at Halifax airport, their objective would be to advance north and capture the town of Amherst, near the boarder with New Brunswick. There had been no resistance from the Nova Scotian Defence Forces, any forces that the Canadains came across would be orderd to surrender, if they refused, they would be attacked. An address was given by the office of the Presidency, People of North America, Today the Commonwealth of Canada has threatened the sovereignty of the nation of Nova Scotia. They have occupied their towns and their cities, with the intent of dissolving their government and destroying their national identity. This can not, and will not, stand. Carrier-based fighters patrolled around the carrier group, and a constant look-out was kept as part of ASW and AA operations.It would take the fleet a little while to swing around to Nova Scotia.
