There is no intrinsic win condition for CN other than those that we set for ourselves. Some people crave conquest and war and are attracted to the military aspects of the game and seek to become the best fighter. Others seek power and influence and are attracted to the politics and seek to rise to positions of power in the hegemonic alliances. While others want the biggest and best stats and grow their nations. And yet others want to play at being the head of state of a nation and gravitate towards the roleplaying. There are as many motivations and ways of winning the game as there are players of the game, and this makes it a great game. There are no "railroad tracks" you have to stick to in order to "win".
