So as the free nations of South East Asia; China, Vietnam, Malay Federation, and Selenarctos do believe in the preservation of unique cultures and customs around the World and so as the free nations of South East Asia do oppose the entrance of colonialism and imperialism in South East Asia we commit ourselves to this doctrine:

The Free Nations of South East Asia shall use all means at their disposal to protect the rights of the indigenous and traditional peoples of South East Asia. We shall not tolerate colonies, protectorates, or imperialism in South East Asia by foreign powers outside of Asia. The Free Nations of South East Asia shall not permit states in Asia to wipe out the traditional cultures of the region. We recognize the rights of states to be multi-cultural and too have aspects from other parts of the globe, however, we shall not permit any state to use their power to suppress native peoples who have existed for millennia.

All peoples are entitled to their homelands and freedom to practice their culture. We shall respect these rights in other areas of the world, we ask that the people of the rest of the World respect those in our particular corner.

Further we wish to discuss a process by which to reunite of the full Malaysian State under the Union, discussion of its separation from the Republic of Singapore and Malaysia has begun under the supervision of Grand Vizier Wei. "The Union of Indonesia and Malaysia expresses utmost interest in joining ASEAN, and would be willing to support the Decree from the Quadruple Powers of South East Asia. We feel that ASEAN would play a pivotal role in promoting and securing peace and stability in Southeast Asia."

The United Federation of the East would like to notify Malaysia-Indonesia and Selenarctos that the United Kingdom has launched a provocative action against territory in Europe which has been under doctrinal protection of our Athenian Allies. We inform you of this because should hostilities break out, and it is my sincerest wish that they do not we would request aid under this bloc in regional strategic defense and anti-submarine operations to both protect our sea lines with our friends to the West and to deny any power the Pacific Ocean or its nearby areas as a staging ground for the deployment of nuclear weapons.

"The Union is willing to provide support, but seeing as it has no Navy, we fear our naval power projection capacibilities will be fairly limited in scope. We, however, can provide you other form of support such as satellite feeds."

The Selenarctan SOSUS network will be on alert for submarine forces entering our waters or the South China Sea via the Pacific.

"The Union of the Southern Cross would like to submit an application to join ASEAN. Although we are not completely a member of the Southeast Asian Community, we feel our proximity to this region to underscore that we still have a vested interest in the goings-on in this area."

The United Federation of the East supports this membership. As most major corporations often structure their business to Asia-Pacific which includes Australia, we feel it make sense as this bloc is both a military and economic bloc to admit Australia.
