Sorry for the delay in posting. One day last week, I bit onto some kid's cankles and instead of running back as fast as I could, I latched on and went for a ride. I just made it back to the colony, and now everyone is irked that I have not been carrying my load lately. What am I to do? I can't help it that some chubby kid had great cankles. Anyway, I need to get to work. I've got to stop chewing on people, otherwise this colony is booting my thorax to the curb.

Being the lone fire ant of the colony, I take exception to this

While I am quite different from my fellow friends in the colony, I fit in quite well. How about you trying to be the sole fire ant of an entire colony??? So today I go outside the mound and find a person standing there. I of course do not hesitate to crawl up their leg and bite them on the ankle. Why? Because I like to irritate people, that's what fire ants do. That was my excitement for today. I'll be back tomorrow with more stuff. I hope we get a new queen though, I'm tired of the used beast we have now!
