Hormones has helped me get my head straight several times, and VI has saved my $@! from foolish actions both IC and OOC on several occasions; I owe both of them a great deal, and will begin repayment of said debts by ending my answer before any man-hugs are exchanged. I was already at odds with several members of the senate regarding their behavior at the time, and the current state of things had me frustrated to the point that leaving for Vox seemed like a good idea. I was unhappy with the state of Freaksafari, and I was simultaneously becoming more interested in the larger community of Legio X. Several LX members proved to be excellent friends, which pretty much sealed the deal. Did Broadbeans put you on the couch again? I'll talk to him for you. We're a unique group that functions more like a dysfunctional family than an alliance. We don't have plans for world domination or political subversion. We're here to have a good time above all, and it shows in our community. Hormones is actually a pretty cool guy. Surprise, huh? That goal will be accomplished in a defensive manner, I expect. That's just my uninformed opinion, so take it as you will. Possibly. Real life is taking up way too much of my time. That, and IRC is usually dead whenever I am on. As a mostly unknown member of a very small alliance, I'm sure you all have very many unimportant questions for me to put to rest with important answers. So please, ask whatever you like. However, if I do not like you, or I dislike your question, or I'm too lazy to spin something into good propaganda, or I just don't feel like replying, don't be upset when I don't reply to your question. Don't assume it's something personal, it's just that you bore me. This thread may also be used to insult, malign, blackmail, slander, taunt, or otherwise be generally rude toward TOP. I've seen a drop in anti-TOP sentiment lately, and that's just unacceptable. It's dangerous to the safety of many CN players, as well as an enabling of TOP's condescending attitude.

I'm not sure what that would be. However, I'm am also certain that it would not be bias or corruption. Those are things we don't have in CN, and could certainly use more of.

If she was going to be accurately cynical, she should have said MDAP rather than ODP. Fact is, treaties don't mean ****. If your treaty partner wouldn't protect you without the treaty, it's likely (but not definitely) useless.

I feel like I'm talking to a roomful of midgets. Zoom, you're completely misreading me if you think we're TOP puppets. As far as I'm concerned, we're with TOP because they're excellent protectors and even better people. I know the popular line of thought is along the lines of TOP being backstabbing opportunists, but I've noted who seems to follow that idea and found that they invalidate it just by spreading it. I wouldn't be in FACE if I had an issue with TOP. As for VI, he is intelligent as well as a good friend, and anyone who thinks he's a puppet of any kind can take that up with his wife. God help them.

I made this topic today to tell you all about me and why I'm proud to be a member of FACE, as well as why I don't give a flying **** about the Karma War, Karma, or Pacifica. First off, let me list my reasons for loving FACE: 1. My alliance mates aren't idiots. To be fair, we're not that brightest bunch, and a lot of that is TOP's blame to shoulder. But still, we don't make dumb topics on the OWF or go around annoying the !@#$ out of passersby. We're well-behaved, unlike the screaming child who makes topics equivalent to "Mommy I just learned how to hold this crayon, now watch while I draw a giant cluster**** of a scribble on every important document in sight." To clarify, that's a euphemism for making topics that suck and posting the almost-interesting stuff down where I have to scroll to get at it. It's like digging in a portable toilet for a quarter, not that you should be doing that but you get the idea. 2. My alliance leaders are not ****s. Again, I need a disclaimer - hormones is a bit odd, and VI is like a stoic Red Foreman, if Red Foreman had a peculiar fascination with sheep and sleeping on the couch. More to the point, they both share one extremely admirable and invaluable trait - they prefer to keep silent rather than say things that make them look, to use a mild word, foolish. Unfortunately, this is not a trait that meshes well with my sarcastic and somewhat abrasive personality. In all seriousness, they say what they mean, mean what they say, and they don't throw common sense and decency out the window for self-gain. This doesn't really help with growth, but she can't point and laugh if she's screaming at the top of her lungs. That is to say, it's not so much what you have, but how you use it. 3. We're not treatied to people who 1) suck 2) we hate, or 3) don't get blamed for every bad thing that happens in CN. That's right. I'm proud to be a member of a <500k NS alliance that has standards. This helps with my roleplay too, since in real life I couldn't keep a standard if it was gift wrapped and handed to me. Whatever, I blame Jesus and Saber. Moving on, it's good to be protected by TOP. Since they're quite possibly the most-hated alliance in game, that makes us technically the second most hated. What better way to be cool than to stand next to the guy everyone throws blame at? Yeah, the people throwing the blame have aim comparable to a Klobb, but I'm rubber and TOP is glue, so I win. Now, you might wonder and care why I don't give a crap about the Karma War. Chances are you don't, but I'm glad to be the first person to make a crap topic without thinking that I'm the coolest thing since Freon on a disco floor. I'm telling you all regardless - it's because this war is boring. There was a time when I was amused by awful attempts at propaganda. There was a time when I laughed when people tried to tell me that my refrigerated, green jello shots were in fact warm and pink and made of love. Now, one has often led to the other, but they can't be called the same thing. The point is, the past few months have made my head spin. I once thought I couldn't wait to see the day the NPO fell. Well, that day came, and I honestly wish it hadn't, because it has given rise to the most unbearable levels of idiocy I have ever experienced. Both sides have descended into a dull repetition of their respective bull**** that is equivalent to watching two goats "baaa" at each other about something involving grass and cliffs. No one cares about your propaganda, just keep stabbing each other until someone stops moving. So, to sum it all up, I'm proud to be a member of FACE because I can get on IRC and have a good time with my friends without giving a flying **** about the various intricacies of a game that most people don't understand is just a game, and all the crap that comes with getting so involved that you forget that you (hopefully) are at an age where you're capable of feeding yourself.

Well, they do need something to cry about. Terms give them that something.
