To be fair, CnG did it after the other side implemented a peace mode strategy. So it was hardly the same thing. More importantly, to say that no one complained about it then is ridiculous. I would recommend reviewing some threads from that era. I don't remember anyone being happy with the mass PM strategy during that war either (on either side). It completely killed the war.

It's about time this happened.

The proper procedure would have been to get orders signed in triplicate, sent in, sent back, queried, lost, found, subjected to public inquiry, lost again, and finally buried in soft peat for three months and recycled as firelighters.
