I am certain there are a few folks who take great pleasure in sacrificing all nation development to puff up the upper tier of their alliances. I cannot imagine that there are hundreds and hundreds of these folks, unless there are lots of folks who want to roleplay being worker drones and have found that this political simulator fills that need like no other.

Us old folks are bored with a conquered world. Anyone "newer" who wants to partake in politics or whatever is going to have a !@#$ nation for the rest of planet bob's existence regardless of what they do in nation-building. Hence, the more active players are the weak players that might as well funnel tech to the larger nations.

  2. Fantastic post, Lady Stella. It's been a long time on this world, a long time of sitting around watching our nations grow. It would be terrible to simply disappear without a word. If there's one thing we can do for you, it's make sure to bring one final fight to make the last several years worth having saved.

Kirke, sorry to see you on the other side. I'm sure even with a nation like Dulra's, no one would deny you are OBR's most valuable asset.

Can you actually accomplish this before the game ends?

Being top of the mountain is fine and all but at some point the mountain becomes a hill, then a heap, they something akin to a mound.

And even if you do all of this wonderment, at what point will you decide you all no longer want to share ( seems like a bunch of folks who willingly broke one treaty would have no problem just abandoning others ).

Seems to me...it is time to listen to the James Gang

Although not pertaining to this thread, Umbrella's unofficial motto has always been to rule the !@#$pile.

I think the problem is from the PoV of some within Oculus White Peace is a defeat, as they have fought a war in which they were unable to impose any terms (surrender being a term, a mild one compared to others being thrown around nowadays, but a term nonetheless), and so the opposition can claim that they haven't been beaten (which they obviously will).

It's a silly view IMO, it's pretty easy for Oculus to claim victory in essentially every military sense even if the war ends in white peace, so there really is no reason not to offer it. But obviously they don't see it that way, so they will continue to fight nations with $10+ billion forever.

If neither side feels defeated, it makes sense to keep fighting.

Hellas votes always thinking what it is good for the majority of the nations in Black Team and not only for itself or some big nations that have this or that wonder.

As a result, it is usually on the top of preferences of Black Team preferences in voting process and popularity in game.

I know that this is hard to take all these years for you and all the alternatives tried during the last 6 years by your alliance.

And by the way who talked about surrender terms? We will fight like Leonidas against Persians, 300 (actually 100 here in game) against thousands and thousands ... Search the forums and you will find the history regarding Hellas fights against Umbrella :)

See this is the dumb part. The majority of black team nations ARE large because this world is more than ten years old. You constantly vote against everyone's interests.

Then you should simply target the techsellers and the lower tier nations as opposed to the upper tier. Causing attrition to those would impact the higher tier nations more than by going after them directly.

That will also have the added bonus of keeping them in tech seller range for a longer period of time. I like how you think.

I think the larger point is that multiple members of SPATR/MONGOLS are current or former members of Doombird Doomcave; Bones obviously was, and has been referred to as a member by TBRaiders long after last being on the AA, Commander Bean was obviously on the DBDC AA until recently, Timmehhh is/was obviously DBDC, given that his sig as "Minister of Wealth Redistribution" was on most things published by DBDC over the years. Zxcsd was also a Doombird at one point, and so were you, though obviously the last time your were on the AA Cuba attacked you for raiding the wrong person, so perhaps you are not on the best terms with them.

Given these connections, you must surely see why many see SPATR/MONGOLS is seen by some as sort of a splinter group of DBDC.

No I disagree. SPATR/MONGOLS make a point of saying they are both the same (share government and members) and yet different (if one does a bad thing, they feel like changing the AA should absolve them of their crimes).

DBDC didn't have a treaty and didn't protect SPATR/MONGOLS when they got their comeuppance because there was no reason for them to do so. Some former DBDC members only joined the fight because they were super close almost like brothers family members of BONES.
