  1. I'm just saying, a kind word and a gun works a lot better than a kind word alone.
  2. To the extent a bloc has government, and someone could conceivably declare themselves to be that government and make it stick, then I disagree. It's possible to coup a bloc. However the alliances forming that bloc, or at least a majority or plurality of them or something, would have to be onboard for it to work - which is why this one failed. No one was onboard, everyone was just going whiskey tango foxtrot.
  3. LPCN isn't actually an alliance, it's a different level of organization, more like a bloc.
  4. Just a nit but it's my experience that that's exactly what one usually needs in order to get a balanced settlement.
  5. Hail casualties! Also, I'm sorry, I'm confused, is this a disbandment move or not? Message seems very mixed there.
  6. That's rather distorted. I don't believe I've fed any madness. In some cases he definitely was somewhat at fault and he found my aid was not unconditional. He's apologized and paid reps so he had consequences in those cases. I suspect your perspective is skewed by having encountered us under rather different circumstances than that, but I can't blame you for having a point of view. And thank you.
  7. You just want to play "let's you and him fight."
  8. That's without even going into the notion that we are supposed to believe the "enemy" you are referring to was somehow on your side. Which he has consistently denied. Where's that log dump with Junka telling you have the shiny gold star and it's fine for you to post your announcement?
  9. That you is deleted, the war is over, you have no enemies here unless you choose to make them. And if you choose to make my ally your enemy then you know me well enough to know exactly what will happen.
  10. If your loss of position has affected our friendship it's on your end, not mine. Think back on it. Years ago, when first lost your position, wasn't I one of the very few that didn't change? When you were solo, when you built kerberos(sp?) nexus and then when you were in CA and then when you went solo again, through all those highs and lows man, I never did you like that.
  11. I'm still hoping he's not gone for good, and just temporarily disoriented. You're constantly reading things in here that just aren't there. This has nothing to do with any friendship with Junka, for instance. No offense to him, but I don't make friends easy. He's not a friend, he's an ally. We made an agreement, so far he's only honored it, so we will do the same. You of all people know just how inflexible I am about that sort of thing. I don't want to argue with you either. I want you to wake up and realize the war's over and then do what I told you in the first place - lay low for a bit and get caught up. You call me out for not trusting you, perhaps there's some truth to that, and for that I am sorry. But how could YOU not trust ME in that situation? You're gone for weeks no one knows if you're alive or dead and the world has moved on. Why can you not accept that fact?
  12. There it is again, that's so cute, and so hilariously misinformed. One more time and I might let you in on the joke. Man this is BS. You admitted just a little earlier you were inactive for "1-2 weeks" at a time and that was what interfered with our having a conversation by pm. That's how I remember it too. I'd write you a message and I'd watch the outbox and it would be a week or more before you'd read it. Then I'd get one line that didn't really help. And IRC? I'm not on 24/7 like I used to be? You're right. On the other hand you have NEVER been on other than an occasional brief appearance when YOU wanted to meet. You can't possibly accuse me of not being active enough while simultaneously claiming you were. 1. Once again, it wasn't Sir Kindles to give and you should have known that. 2. "A majority in favor" - name one time when that's been how we made decisions. Once. From the beginning we've moved by consensus. In theory we could have a vote but I'm failing to remember a single instance when it's ever been necessary. It would have to be an emergency. What was the emergency here? That you were not triumvir and wanted to be? 3. What has he lied to me about man? Specifically, name one thing I believe because Junka told me?
  13. You know why I was so sure that you were dead or something bad had happened to you at least... I really never considered that you would let it go that far without calling for help. How many times before? Yeah you knew I didn't like what you were doing and you knew you'd wind up having to admit you messed up but once you did that I'd bail you out. Just like I had always done. It was so important to you to be right that you couldn't admit it, I guess that makes sense, I'm sorry I didn't see that. But if that's it then I still don't understand why you suddenly pop back up like some shell-shocked samurai that thinks the war is still going on and just flat out won't listen to your best friend telling you it's over.
  14. If you believed your first line and you had a lick of sense in you you would have done what I told you and rejoined and laid low for a little while and it would have come out in due time. I haven't betrayed you or anyone you poor confused soul. And if you had really wanted to chat with me on irc you would have waited around more than 30 seconds you know I actually stand up and do things at times. I don't even know how to respond to such delusions. I wish you well.
  15. He deleted his nation but he was on every day helping us do stuff so we thought we could bring him back. You deleted while under fire, without even letting me know you were in trouble. I get messages from Animalz telling me they followed you into hell then you just quit responding. I seriously thought you were dead man. I did what needed to be done. This is what we were working for from the beginning, unless you were really lying to me all the way back! We have what we wanted. We've carved ourselves a safe space, we've made peace with the natives, we even managed the coup of recruiting one of the largest alliances on the colour! Exactly like we had planned before you got into your interminable ****ing match with Junka. Man I went to the wall for you over and over. How many alliances have I fought for you? Remember when I went up against NG for you with no backup? And this is how you repay me. This is how you repay Animalz. Man I'm not even mad at you anymore. You're out of your head. You can't know what you're saying.
  16. Both of you, RUKUNU wasn't sitting as a triumvir because he didn't want to. He's still the sovereign of Animalz, which means he's the one we consult with to fill a vacancy. Not his resigned, former deputy.
  17. I'm sorry I missed that earlier. I'm not saying you don't have a point, but in fact if I got a message from Galerion saying SnX was doing anything that seemed at all unusual, out of the ordinary, or suspect I would certainly want to confirm it with Junka or at least with a second official before I placed any weight on it. No offense to Galerion, but this is hardly the first time I've seen a government member get con'd. And I'm quite sure he was con'd, that he was simply echoing back to Methrage misinformation that Methrage had put in his head first. It's quite inconceivable that Animalz, should they decide to leave LPCN, would do so by announcing it to uninvolved parties. Rukunu would send me a pm, at the very least.
  18. I think I've been extremely clear in saying that he was indeed sorely misinformed. I've also posted a message from him detailing his current position if you missed it it's only a page or two back still. The same reason that Junka might advance Galerion for his seat next month, the same reason I would probably rotate it with Methrage, were he still in CA like the old days. Why is authority delegated? To spread the burden, to increase buy-in, to reward useful activity, to give the junior ruler an opportunity to grow... there are not one but many, many reasons.
  19. It does, but he does not and has never had the power to do so. RUKUNU would be the only one that could do that. Which is why the moment I heard this I wrote him. And I'll restate as I realize it's a long thread and I wouldn't want anyone to have to read it all - his reply was a definite no, and it continued on to tell me about the problem with Methrage... I don't know that us being Micros has anything to do with it. If anything, our bloc has a clearer chain of authority than most alliances. I am sovereign of CA, Rukunu is sovereign of Animalz, and Junka of the Imperium. Each of us has unquestioned authority to speak for our respective alliances, and anyone that did 5 minutes of research would know who speaks for us and who does not.
  20. You're smuggling false premises. No one convinced Animalz to leave LPCN. Someone convinced one member of Animalz that they were "going" to leave. They never left and they were never actually "going" to leave either.
  21. Dude you were not made a triumvir. You messaged me, you didn't like the reply. You messaged Junka, you didn't like his reply. You confused Sir Kindle enough to get his support for a moment and then you started posting announcements. You're delusional.
  22. Not really. The 'messages' he got were in essence messages from himself. He just conned someone else into sending them to him.
  23. I think you're missing a few events here. I tried to recruit him back to the LPCN and he told me he was just going to delete if we didn't want to fight SnX some more, which we obviously declined. He then seems to have gone to both Junka and Sir Kindle. Junka gave him an idea what he would be looking for to take him back in, and while he's talking about it Meth is posting his crazy 'announcement.' Somewhere right about the same time he's filling Sir Kindle full of lies, which are taken seriously and lead to Sir Kindle becoming very confused and resigning as trium. So, no, I know I certainly did nothing to 'allow him to think he was a trium' and I don't know of anyone else who did, unless you blame Sir Kindle simply for believing him at first.
  24. "The majority" who specifically are you talking about? I was not even consulted, Junka did not agree, best I know RUKUNU was not consulted either. I have 3:3 current executive members on my side. I asked you earlier if you thought we had missed someone to speak up and say who it is - you have conspicuously ignored that I see. I worship? Really? Evidence, please, of me doing anything the least bit worshipful. This is pathetic stuff.
  25. OMFG now this whole dispute is over the shiny gold star that has no effect other than to make its wearer feel good? Really man? That's all you got?
