  1. If you think there is an actual PR war worth waging or that is being conducted on the OWF, you are....well, you are a lot of things.
  2. Let us remember that DBDC has been attacking alliances for over a year and not DT or DT probes. It says a lot about polar that you can't predicts possible consequences for your own actions. It should be a wake up call to those who are allied to you and how they may be a part of those consequences. And I have to ask, do you really think we have only "gotten away" with it because of "upper tier physics" and that our skill and ability had nothing to do with it? It's not like admin turned my 180K nation into a 400K nation and I suddenly learned how to war. Its not like those physics did all our FA work for us and found us allied to the best alliances on this planet. You should go read our terms of service thread from top to bottom. See how many people thought they really had us by the balls. Pay particular attention to your mates posts in polar. Everything we knew we could do, we did. Nothing happened on accident or because of "physics".
  3. Both great posts and for those like Bob Janova, who appear to be half-informed of what is going on this war, this should clear some things up. I realize the both of you cleared up what he was initialing responding to, but this is still a valid point. Something something about chickens coming home to roost. FWIW, none of my close allies give 2 farts about tech being sent while at war, but when one side raises a stink about it and especially when they attack non-combatants over it, they shouldn't be shocked when it backfires on them.
  4. I think somebody in my range should attack GPA and test it out; see what happens.
  5. GPA got a better deal than RIA or any of your allies will ever get. Some reps and DBDC will deal with future rogues on GPA. File that away however you need to file it.
  6. You know I just love you, man. Saber has been placed in storage.
  7. It was resolved diplomatically. Valhalla is free to engage DBDC if you want some true entertainment. I hear you guys think you are still at war with us. Be thankful we don't press that issue out of respect to some mutual allies.
  8. It's actually in my back yard.
  9. Thinking that saving pixels was the sole purpose is extremely naive as well. You probably saw the logs on why DBDC wanted the NAP and there were a multitude of reasons, including your sphere was still hitting NG and DBDC was getting ready to mow down some upper tiers to get them peace and didn't want IRON at our backs while we did it. Both alliances had political goals and fighting each other right then wasn't in either of our best interest. So while pixels being saved was a result of the NAP, it wasn't the reason behind it. I don't feel like going into all the details or explaining why it was so mutually beneficial; you will just have to take my word on it. Also, both FEAR and GLOF had talked with both of us well before we asked FEAR to mediate. Neither of them wanted to see the IRON/DBDC throwdown. There was a much bigger picture than just IRON vs DBDC.
  10. Hapa, I've been on vacation but just popped in to read these. They are great, bro.

  12. 1) Only about 5 people in the history of CN think Vox Populi was anything more than an amusing sideshow. There were many more power players who made Karma happen. Vox had funny posts from Sponge and Schatt. 2) Sun Tzu and CN, lol. If you live in a time zone that allows you to be on at update and have played internet games before, you are miles ahead of Sun Tzu when it comes to CN warfare. 3) Dude, those were presents we had made and sent him to celebrate the birth of his first child. His wife obviously thinks we are the biggest nerds in the world, but we thought it was funny and cute. Carry on
  13. Great post. Tywin should do an essay on why some people can't seem to separate IC from OOC (no life) and how it has ruined the game.
  14. It was a preempt on bad posting from Mogar. We failed to stop it, but legit CB.
  15. Additional worthy replies: The Voice finals were coming up and I had to focus on getting my votes in on time. This fall, I have decided to take my talents to Peace Mode. I am a Jets fan and its just been a difficult year for me.
  16. Peace mode use is and has always been a great tactic by both the winning and losing coalitions. Some alliances have used it to hide certain tiers all wars...so what? This isn't a 100 yard dash; its a never-ending marathon and those who are too short-sighted to envision a long game inevitably lose. Sometimes excessive peace mode back-fires when your coalition expects better of you, but if your allies are happy with what you are doing and your coalition is happy with what you are doing then it just doesn't matter. Turtling is also a sound tactic when facing difficult opponents and while I enjoy breaking a certain someone's balls over his use of it, it was a smart decision and I hope he doesn't see this post. At some point, the people being accussed of excessive PM use or turtling should just embrace it. Feel free to copy and paste any of these into your replies: Dude, infra is important. #thestruggle I was having a rough week keeping up with OWF posts and needed to be able to focus less time on wars and more time on important lulzism posts. My war details damage was boss though, bruh. By nature I am not a violent person. I wanted to give peace a chance.
  17. Good luck with that. Vlad is a beast. There should be some good battles for both sides in this. Have fun.
  18. All those tears and it looks like they made the right call, anyway: http://www.cybernations.net/search_wars.asp?search=124781&Extended=1 Looks like they were right in the assumption that your guys not currently fighting them but in other wars could declare wars on them. Shocker.
  19. I now want to know what gift you would give Rebel Virginia.
