You see after I stepped down I thought the Order would lose whatever "edge" it had, and indeed, [i]start pleasing everyone[/i]. I heard many rumors that this conflict was being handled in a manner "most pleasing to all". I have to say.. this really bothered me. I was actually contemplating re-applying for my post again, just so I could be in a position of power again to upset SOMEONE. However, it appears that they are indeed failing at pleasing [i]everyone[/i]. You have saved me hours of tedious efforts of inciting riots within, questioning current leaders, and trying to come up with ways to extend wars as long as possible to draw the ire of foreign leaders. I can stay semi-retired after all, and for that you have my sincere thanks!

This is something I've been suggesting to get done for awhile now. I have a unique perspective to be able to see things from just outside the Order, but also from very close within. For as long as I've been around, Joshua has been a constant friend of the OBR. His presence was constant even when a treaty was not a option. It pleases me tremendously to see that hard work pay off. I'm equally as pleased to see a treaty between two friends regardless of size and overall NS strategy.

I was informed of the slandering of my good name and am here to refute said slandering. Unfortunately, I must admit there is nothing but truth here. 1,117 days of hard work and I'm still unable to crack a list of my peers as a "under-rated alliance leader". Failure indeed. However, recognition is a good step towards recovery, thus I have the presence of mind to keep Henry around to tie my shoes.

That's how I read that as well... a "rotten shell of itself" simply due to the signing of a ODP (yeah, ODP...) with TOP. Seems like the issue runs a bit deeper than just RandomInterrupt-OBR feelings. First, longest "week late" wait I've had in awhile, the cancellation of the Writ required us to wait said amount of time until attacking a signature, I tried to push em just to throw caution to the wind , but alas, they wanted to honor the terms... Second, 6 days of 'faking it'? I'm not sure if you have contacts with our very Honorable opponents within the Old Guard or not, but I can assure you they would probably attest to the lack of 'faking' on our part. Lastly, "Reputation" and "Honor" are not only earned on the battlefield. While I admit that spilling of blood is by far the most entertaining way to earn said reputation, most of the Reputation is currently done at a diplomatic level. I feel that a lot of the respect and reputation is based on the merit of the members within. Respect often follows name's like Neboe, SocCarolina, Reformentia, Zunea, etc etc around. I personally appreciate the congrats, however I don't nearly have the time, effort, nor patience to prove myself to everyone Agreed, I was pleasantly surprised to see a 8 page thread on what looks like a getting-to-know-you-ODP. It also warms my heart further not to see a 100% approval rate. It's been far to bland, for far to long. If everyone likes everything you do, your doing something wrong.
