I have learned that quite often the reason the grudge began is still as valid as it ever was. If Sparta wants to move on over, do so, but this is a very strange way of demonstrating fealty to your new task masters,
And so you will always be plagued by the grudges you held. However, that is not how we all want to play the [ooc]game[/ooc], and Sparta in particular has no reason to hold onto meaningless grudges. We were once on a different side, now we are not. It is as simple as that. What we would have done for our previous allies we will do for our current allies.

I'll clarify.
Winning or losing pixels in either side isn't particularly courageous and my comment wasn't about the members of Sparta being gutless.
Taking a position and owning by it is the courage I refer too. It's about leadership and strength of character, or lack of it.
Sparta wish to change to the Doom Sphere. I don't regard that as courageous or otherwise and indeed given their reputation if anything, it's taking a risk.
Here is where I regard it as spineless though in the highest degree. If you are going to declare on WTF to curry favour with your desired masters, do it as Sparta and own the decision. This business of temporarily allowing joint membership and then relying on Doom Squad to save your arses if it blows up in your face is pure cowardice.
For god's sake you're Sparta Government. How the crap you can call it leadership and expect respect from anyone is beyond me. If I was a member there and watched my leaders act in such a spineless way I'd be moving heaven and earth to see their sorry arses kicked out the door.
Spartan Govt please man up and act like leaders before you make your AA the laughing stock of planet Bob, if it isn't too late already...Dajobo, I've always viwed us as similiar leaders, especially as we both initially brought our alliances together. I have the utmost respect for you and for Polaris, and I wish we were still allied at this point and time. It brings me great pain that we aren't, and I still hope that there is some way to sway you and us to end up allied again and put this mess behind us, though I very much doubt that at this point.
I will say this though, there is no doubt, and no point in denying that certain Spartan leadership has attacked WTF nations at this point. That would just be plain silly. However, we have not delcared on WTF. Had we declared war on them, there'd be more wars, there'd be more damage, there'd be more evidence of Spartan involvment. We have chosen to help our friends in a limited way. We have not shyed away from our involvement, and have answered trutfully when questioned about it.

To me it shows what cowards Sparta really is, and should be telling to whomever they approach that they are will abandon whomever in order to try to be on the winning side.
So in your world, are we supposed to follow whatever side you want? You can act all surprised and such, but our views have been differing with our former allies for quite a bit now. What we are doing now is just a continuation of our change in FA policy. While we may disagree, to call us cowardice is not fair. We don't wish to continue upon the same path as you, but while we were on it, even when we disagreed we put our whole ns on the line for our allies. I would hope you guys recognize that and let us move on peacefully instead of becoming bitter that we would not follow you guys until the end of time.

Th’ Federation o’ Buccaneers after spending over a year in Davey Jone’s locker it was only a matter of time before drinking would take control. Before we knew it we were lost at sea…

Knowing this time they were in-fact men they would not be making th’ same mistake as last time. No love making occurred upon arrival, it would have to wait til’ latter. If either one gets into this bar fight after supporting a beat down their friend started, this clause does not come into effect. However, if either party gets into the fight after one of their friends was hit, this clause takes effect and the brawl is on.

friends, and the values we share. However, if either alliance holds back intel from the other, or if the Spartays become boring or hostile over time, the treaty may be canceled. We'll give each other 72 hours to ditch the party. Due to the nature of it, the canceling alliance needs to give the other notification in private, and any intentional or planned violations of the articles within this treaty result in the treaty being considered immediately void, unless otherwise agreed upon by the leadership of both signatories.

Preamble:
In recognition of friendship towards one another and in the hopes of cooperative and peaceful growth, The Last Concord (hereby known as the TLC) and Sparta enter into the following protectorate treaty and agree to its terms.
Article I
Neither signatory alliance shall initiate acts of aggression against the other signatory of this treaty. This includes, but is not limited to, acts such as: Tech Raiding, Wars of Aggression, Spying, or Flaming/Trolling by one signatory toward the other.
Article II
Should TLC come under attack by a hostile force Sparta is obligated to come to the defense and aid of the afore mentioned alliance. TLC is also encouraged, but not required, to offer the same in return should Sparta come under attack from a hostile force. Sparta is not required to defend or support TLC if it can be proven that aggression was initiated toward another alliance or nation by TLC.
Article III
Both signatory alliances agree to share any information they learn that conveys a possible threat toward the other signatory, and will respect the wishes of the other should one party express the desire to keep such intelligence confidential.
Article IV
Sparta will send an advisor to TLC to provide guidance in the military, economic, trade, and foreign affairs areas.
Article V
Sparta will in no way interfere in TLC's internal affairs, however TLC can still request Sparta use its larger diplomatic corps to assist in matters pertaining to Foreign Affairs.
Article VI
Should either party wish to cancel this agreement for any reason, they must notify the other signatory through diplomatic channels. The treaty is binding for an additional 72 hours from the time of the notification of cancellation.
