  1. Please read the following next

"Who gives you the right to tell us what our rights are? And we didn't start a war with the 11 alliances that attacked us. They started it. Especially the oA and oD ones. And you're right, we aren't asking reps for the war we started. So there you go. Unless you're implying we can't ask for reps from people who attacked us just because."

If it helps, you can pick some other posts from that thread. Its a goldmine.

I'll advertise your blog in my sig if you do it.

  2. Will NPO break the siege? Will they surrender? Will GOONS surrender? Will the House of Doom call in reinforcements when the siege is broken? CN history unfolds in slow motion!

Lol. This war really should have ended about three weeks ago. The terms were nearly finalized from what I heard. Still, I had a nice little fight with a GOON who had a WRC at 7k NS a week ago, like myself.

For comparison, the DH-NPO front just passed the Karma War in duration, if you don't count TPF being held at war for an extra few weeks. And it should pass that too, based on the nature of the terms.

  3. Question: How much of NPO is in peace mode?
Latest PM stats are from April 13th here: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AoJD-FIuyoB0dGlWeUlaNDluUzZ3NXhub1ZPV1M0LVE&authkey=CMmrnf4C&hl=en#gid=3NPO had ~84% of their NS (represented by ~38% of their nations) in PM when those stats were taken.

I just got to 4.5 million for nations over 20k NS doing it myself with a calc. TBH, I think most of the nations under 20k have been out of peacemode at least once to fight and you can tell when people went in thanks to the admin update. When I saw the 3.5 mil number, it might have been for nations referenced in the terms. Props for whoever took the time to do that for every alliance. I guess I have something to do for next week here.

  4. Is your point to somehow raise sympathy for NPO by the NS they've lost? I'm not quite sure why you made this thread/ blog post.

Um...no? I'm just bored and it seemed like a useful thing to do since the UE stats are down. I swear, an NPO member could post a letter of the alphabet every day and it would be viewed as a fiendish Pacifican plot by some elements.

Though on the subject of pity and sympathy: I hear demanding reps from alliances activating treaties is the latest way to feel sorry for yourself.

  5. lol FOK this is pretty awfull to invade someone's sovereignty for casualty's and land. Why would you sanction someone who is quitting the game?Idiots

The sanction was obviously done at FOK's request. It hardly appears to be mutual agreement between FOK and the defending nation. Still, I wouldn't say its awful on moral grounds. The principle duty of an alliance member is to safeguard and further the strength of his alliance after all. Getting a nation you are fighting sanctioned would surely help in that goal. It seems to me though that raiding a 100k+ nation would hardly be profitable in the first place though. Maybe there is a good reason, since our senator sanctioned him.

  6. 8. Tennessee - Blaine Gabbert, QB, Missouri
Well, I'm not sure what to think. On one hand, I'm a Titans fan (unfortunately, most years), and Gabbert would be a pretty decent choice at quarterback, not somebody who will turn the team around overnight and become a national phenomenom, but a solid player that you can build a team around - then again, I thought similar things about Rothlisberger, and a little before I started paying much attention to the draft, I can only imagine what people thought about Tom Brady, if they had even heard of him.On the other hand, I'm a fan of the Kansas Jayhawks, and hate the thought of cheering for anybody who has played for Mizzou.I hope that your right/wrong.

Munchak has said he wants a somewhat mobile quarterback. That means no Mallet, thank God. Gabbert might not be there at 8 also.

I'm really leaning toward them drafting Auburn's Fairley at DT first. Depending on how fast the QB's start flying off the board, they may try to trade up to get Kaerpernick, Ponder, or Locker. I'm fairly convinced that a QB will be drafted by them in the first or second round.

  7. "Serving 1 to 30 of 71 Nuke Success Records"

I think I've dropped 46 successfully in the past two months. Prior to that maybe 25 or so between 2/25 and the start of war. 12 offensive wars, 4 defensive.

Lost track of nukes dropped/taken in my nations history. If I had to guess, it would be around 150-175 or so.

  8. Millions of NS would work quite well. It would be easier for people to understand. Considering most of us are Western natives (and not Chinese), our counting system/thought process doesn't work too well with 10k as a counting unit (ie, if someone said 500 ten-thousand, people would have to take an extra 30 seconds or whip out a calculator to understand it's the same thing as 5 million). In Chinese, however, 10k can be used as a "counting unit", since there's a "word" that means exactly 10k (万, pronounced wan) and another "word" that means 1k (千, pronounced qian). The 10k as a "counting unit" is pretty weird and out of the norm for the West.

Your axis would run from around let's say 3.00 million to around 17.00 million and that's not too bad design wise.

    Fine you !@#$%^&.

edit: now in millions of NS
