  1. Shoot! I know I'm late, but... Wasso, you might want to look over your titles more closely. (Though I make no claim to perfection) means something else than... Which is what I think you were going for. I'll go back into my hole now.
  2. I fear Wasso was so elaborate in his indictment that he might have created a how-to guide.
  3. Not by announcing your intentions to the world, you won't.
  4. We are at peace with the War Doves. We have always been at peace with the War Doves. (Belisarius and I mutually agreed to a ceasefire that officially began at 11:59:59 PM 6/16/2017) I want to do some shout-outs. First of all, props go out to all of War Doves for an epic amount of coordination. I also, I nominated War Doves for the best opening counter-blitz of round 43.They launched just as many pre-update counters as our AA did. Despite the odds, they had me anarchied from day 1 on just my offensive slots. Also, to my knowledge, (you may correct me if I'm wrong) but I am unaware of any blockades or any remotely dirty spy ops happening on either side. I think that was a miracle in-and-of itself nowadays. I really, really appreciate the classiness there. o/ 13/10 would war again. I wish everyone a very speedy rebuild and best of luck in the future. o/ War Doves PS: Also, please note that Mr. Loyal, while active Bob-side, is rather inactive Steve side. Please try not to accidentally send him a defeat alert while the war expires.
  5. This is probably what all you spectators were curious about. The moment you've all been waiting for... EDIT: MRW I'm the heavy of the team
  6. Lucky you, people were supposed to be on right now. Get your collections in fast. :/
  7. We are at war with the War Doves. We have always been at war with the War Doves.
  8. I'm glad cooler heads prevailed. Personally, it's not like there was a lot of material damage. Mr Skeltal told me that JayMillz launched navy attacks when he could have blockaded, targeted CMs with spy ops, and sent peace, all within 4 minutes. I know we weren't dealing with malicious intent, and it was almost worth ignoring. If it was my nation, and mine alone, I would have let it slide with a shrug. But it is my responsibility as leader to repair broken windows as fast as possible to prevent future problems. Maybe we'll meet on the battlefield in a more formal way soon.Or not. I have no idea. Good luck either way. -HL
  9. Ok, so, I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't frown upon this publicly, but I didn't want to create a separate thread to cause drama. Hey, RoadRash. Early this morning one of our nations was raided by NDO. Because damage was minimal, and peace was immediately sent afterward. I instructed Mr Skeltal to peace out. No need in dragging anything out. I/we are not going to be holding any grudges or anything, I recognize that raiding is part of the game, and I am glad that this one happened to be courteous. But I, as the leader of Eurasia, am in a state of not approving of this. But, I sincerely wish you luck in the future. That is all.
  10. Personally, I think the Rebellion made a few mistakes in their execution of this war. But, moving forward, please do not ignore the potential for natural human error. With an influx of inexperienced payers (which happens every round), several members from various parties made beginners errors (In addition to the post ceasefire nukes, Eurasia got declared on by nations from 2 other alliances during this war). One has to understand that mistakes will happen. We have to anticipate noobish mistakes and address the root cause of those mistakes: inexperience. By anticipating this, leaders can preemptively corral the members of their respective AAs, and respond to mistakes from other AAs in a rational manner. I direct your attention to Hanlon's Razor: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanlon's_razor P.S. Also I have a suggestion for the future--not as a un/written rule, but as something that would be in everyone's self-interest to increase the amount of fun in this world. If you hold of major wars until day 21, everyone can cycle through war normally. The round is not ruined for anyone declared on.--Just a suggestion.
  11. We're handling this in-game via PM. I guess we can put the pitchforks down. It was just a noob.
  12. Uh oh... I gave my guys the stand-down order yesterday, then this happened. http://tournament.cybernations.net/stats_news.asp?Search=Eurasia&SearchBy=Nation_Alliance What's going on? Did someone not get the memo? Do you still want to war us? I;m not sure how to proceed.
  13. We didn't ask for this. Also, please be aware that I announced that I am expecting a natural conclusion of war at the end of the first round. . .
  14. Well, I have to admit, you kind of got the upper hand on us. I am moving forward with the assumption that you expected ~1 round of war. The first round (on our front) ends at 5/13/17 after 11:59:59 PM sever time (the 5/13-5/14 update). For wars that started after the calendar day of 5/8/17, I’m instructing my guys to expect a conclusion on the end of 5/13/17. I honestly see no reason to take this longer than that on our front. I have relayed this message to HG. You may have to negotiate peace separately if either of you are expecting this to take longer than ~1 round. Good luck. Have fun. -Horatio Longworth
  15. Gimmie some time [(irl stuff)] to perform an adequate response.
