  1. Uhh guys, that's admins nation. He can, like, edit his nation
  2. If a nation that large is that foolish, then they should have to deal with the consequences of not keeping money on hand. The only reason other nations can outlast is that others can cover for their foolishness by aiding them.
  3. Does anybody have any idea how aircraft battle results are calculated? I know that in my experience who wins is almost completely random (I've had my ~20 planes take down 30+ attackers, and vice versa, and also had 50 planes vs 60 lose roughly 2 each What sort of system is used to determine the results of air battles?
  4. Wow, troll much? He is saying that due to a higher amount of bill money being required above 5k infrastructure, if a nation is caught without money to pay bills for an extended period of time, they are much easier to bill lock than a lower nation (where 3 mil would be able to cover bills for a while).
  5. Ah, thanks, I didn't realize that was changed.
  6. That's the thing, it doesn't matter. Even then: 1/2 * 18 * 5000 * (1.10)^18 = $250,196 which is still not what I'm paying ($238,140). It also has increased that way when I bought them all a while back, every one increased the upkeep by another $500.
  7. Wheat and Aluminum are the best resources. They are valuable for both infra reduction sets (the 3 bonus set) as well as sets maximizing income (giving Beer too). Basically no matter what your nation is trying to do with trades, you want both of them. This makes them the most valuable IMO.
  8. Have you ever fought in a nuclear war? Because allowing 500 infra destroyed would mean mass ZIings on both sides. In a single war, you could lose 3,000 infra to nukes alone. Not good. Rogues also become waaay too powerful.
  9. The best suggestion in this thread IMO has been the construction time involved with a Navy. I whole heartedly would support adding a Navy if this was a distinguishing characteristic; otherwise it will become only like another airforce. Another thing you could do would be to have 10 levels of improvements, starting at Naval Base: Level1 and going through Level10 (or heck, even 15 or something, depending on how limited Navies would be intended to be), and to develop and maintain levels of ships you would be required to have reached a certain level in this improvement list. It would give more options for improvement levels, and at the same time, would give yet another interesting aspect for all but the largest nations. Up until roughly 4500 infra you can continue to buy only economic improvements; this would mean that many nations would have to pick between military strength in the form of a Navy and economic strength. Requiring lots of incremental improvements to fully develop a Navy would add lots of strategic elements into the game that currently do not exist. There are not many "options" with improvements currently unless you are either very small (Factories vs Banks/Stadiums) and very large with Missile Defense vs Satellites.
  10. At only 416 infra, it is not advisable to be sending away money in aid. For example, I net over 4 million a day in cash. There is no way I could even send away that much cash if I wanted to.
  11. With Uranium: I am wondering how this is the case; as far as I can remember the upkeep cost has always been in multiples of $500, meaning that it should theoretically be $13,500 per nuke, but it is slightly less. This is just something which I noticed with my nation.
  12. Almost 5k now. Course I also have roughly 700k casualties... losing thousands to nukes all the time does that to ya
  13. gah it's "effect" not "affect" I'm not sure what the ratio is. I know it's not between about 60-80% though.
  14. I don't know why you bothered to buy that much infra. Why not save and spend 45 mil on infra from almost nothing then collect 19 days back taxes, and spend the huge amount of cash you just got on more infra, instead of paying bills on 3k+ infra?
  15. Requirments: 400 infrastructure, 150 technology Base Purchase Cost: $25,000 Daily Maintenance: $200 Strength: 4 In all the aircraft descriptions, requirements does not have an "e" between the r and the m.
  16. GOLD is not likely to exist in 5 days.
  17. In a war, the "ag" set allows you to have more soldiers and tanks and to (as long as you don't get nuked ) generate more income.
  18. Read the bolded text in his post. It says they approve of a monarchy yet do not want to be ruled by a royal family (which is what a monarchy is).
  19. This poll made me realize I still have an efficiency of over 200 and I have gained only about 5k NS in the past 3 months due to wars.. Cool!
  20. Heh, I have the exact same situation currently and was wondering the same thing.
