1. Just remember FARK, Keep it real. And most importantly, don't let keeping it real go wrong.
2. Have some respect, will you? The people of Stachyland don't interpret "sarcasm" or "tongue-in-cheek" "phrases", whatever those may be.
especially when they don't suit our interests.
3. I disagree. "Worst X list" or "Worst Y list" are precisely opinion posts and should be left for blogs. If you want to do a poll, maybe that's fine for this forum, but if you're going to to post your own opinion of various alliances, blog it, because no one gives a !@#$. +1 for Rush there. Even "AMA"'s are blog worthy. No need for that stuff here. On many forums, "blog it" Is a common insult. It's a shorthand way of saying no one cares about your opinion, so put it in the blog so you don't waste the time of others who don't care about what you have to say. I'm a bit surprised that insult isn't used more here. Maybe that's an OOC insult? I'm not sure.. Would be nice if a mod chimed in here, cause maybe I'll use that one >_> I'll argue that the reason the forums are such filth is because the community doesn't use blogs effectively. Far too many !@#$ posts/topics or threads simply go off topic, when in fact you could !@#$post far worse stuff in a blog than you can on the OWF. The problem is that CN is as much a propaganda game as it is a nation/political simulator. There's little incentive to use blogs, because this games all about changing public opinion. If you're making 50+ posts in a thread repeating the same thing over and over, people should be smart enough to know they need to make a freaking blog post associated with the thread, say what you think, and stop posting. The people that care what you have to say will read your blog and respond accordingly. Roquentin was actually quite effective at making off topic blogs about a thread.
4. $%&@ I hate this quote system That is true, different alliances do have different goals, but I would think one primary goal would be to generally avoid getting rolled. I wouldn't think you could achieve your goals if you're getting rolled. Yes, you're right, you could just jump to the other side to avoid getting rolled, but that's generally an awful strategy. You might be able to avoid a rolling the first time by switching sides, but you're creating a whole new set of grudges by doing so. You might be able to get away with switching sides if you're a small player, but bigger alliances will almost certainly get rolled soon after switching sides once or twice. I'm certainly not championing int for wriggling out of your curbstomp If they were more politically relevant, they might get more flak by the community too. Well, again, I think there's more to it than just goals. It's how you go about achieving those goals which is where your decision making comes in. Careful here, it sounds like you're advocate acting stupid to annoy people. Which would be in direct violation of the 0th goal: Avoid getting rolled where possible
5. One reply was in response to ODN/GATO. The other was in response to TLR.
6. Lol, i love how they keep saying everyone is complaining and whining, when in fact no one is complaining or whining except for them, and their hypocritical baw with respect to IRON. Sensible discussion? Goodness No, the time for sensible discussion with TLR was years ago. TLR refused to play ball, and now it's my turn to be the prick. You're right in this conclusion: my hate for TLR runs long and deep. I don't see "sensible discussions" changing that for quite some time either. 1.) See my comment to tick1. 2.) Can't you read? :P I just said I am extremely happy:
7. I wouldn't say I hate them. I'm kind of over it, but thanks for the /b/lackup. They're getting a small taste of their own medicine and I'm enjoying that. To be honest, I'll go so far as to say once TLR disbands, heck even if Rush Sykes just left CnG, I think I'd consider dialogue with CnG again. Seems to me a low standard for water under the bridge. Lol, well. We'll see about that. Innactive TLR is a win for me. Disbanded TLR is a win for me. Heck, even active TLR is a win for me considering TLR has repeatedly shown nobody needs to make trouble for you; you make it for yourself. I just wish I could bet on TLR being irrelevant postwar, the odds say I can't lose!
8. Oh I wouldn't say I'm crying. I stopped quite some time ago. Right now I'm enjoying the show :)
9. I can't lie, this is a pretty epic first post. Well done hahahaha
10. lmao, 905  Good luck out there STA and my brother Farkas.
11. -_- I'm the only one that cared about it? I recall a lot more people being mad about it than just me. I remember your embassy being renamed to trash can, because only garbage was found in there. I remember people that had 30 forum posts over 2 years stop by GATO's embassy just to tell you to fuck off. Just me? yeah..... You were lucky you had DH on your side at the time. Everyone just looked the other way because they didn't care about XX in general and they definitely didn't want to deal with DH. IRON doesn't have that luxury. They already have people plotting against them, which puts them in a real dangerous situation. Keep telling yourself it's different though.
12. ROFL, that pretty accurately describes how I view global politics
13. LMAO, you think I actually care about peace mode, don't you? In fact, I don't. I've said multiple times on these forums I don't care who hangs out in peace mode nor do I care the reason. I just like seeing rush sykes/TLR get wrecked.
14. You are welcome to come out at any time. I have no doubt you'll be a popular attraction yet again. There's still a wealth of people furious about grudge, after all.
15. I'm fine with it too. Definitely worth it to see you cowering in peace mode
