1.
I figured at least one hypersensitive shroom would misunderstand my post. Read it again until you get it, or, have someone explain it to you. I'll give you a hint, MK has had two very distinct ages, which come with two very distinct _____________.
I quoted that post so you would know I was speaking to you, my statement was for this whole thread. You have done nothing but act bitter through all of your posts. Grow up.
 2.
~Dustbin of History~ MK is Best MK.
Can you be anymore bitter? Seems like it was a heart filled apology that you gave in the terms, Shatman.
 3.
One of my Drill Instructors once said there'd be people like you.
Your Drill instructor should have talked in length with you about not being a complete idiot and the value of shutting the hell up. Stop giving other Marines a bad name and learn to post with out a picture.
 4.
I still have yet to see a single thing suggested that could have been done. As already pointed out, signing treaties with former lead-Karma alliances would be seen as us just trying to claw our way back to the top with politics by attaching to the power structure. During Karma, NSO was on the other side, and we made friends with them. After terms were up, HUGE FA improvements were made with FAN. IIRC, one of their leadership made it quite clear that very few people would actually understand how much work was done behind the scenes mending those fences to the point where both alliances had embassies for the other, and civil discussion was achieved. So tell me: What could we reasonably have done? I know text doesn't carry tone very well, but I'm being very sincere here. I want to know.
I know you already pointed it out, but that is what needed to be done. Becoming friends with the alliance that beat you up in those wars would have put you out of the light and taken away that line which NPO so happily drew by allying with the same side that got them beat. Now you don't have to go out and start signing treaties right off the bat, there at least needed to be good dialog going. Instead you guys told TOP and VE to get lost, mocked them and ran them off. There was no real effort to make anyone on the opposite side like you. Sitting on your hands and not doing anything doesn't take you out of being a bad guy, hard line changes and action does.
 5.
What happened to Gremlins, oh yeah, this.
What did happen to them?
 6. The stay small and fight the lower end battles didn't work for FAN, why on earth do you think it will work now?
 7. So explain to me how this helps save NPO?
 8.
You know very well that this wasn't to happen. We are more of use as enemies than friends. Our existence as a bogeyman (even a crippled one) allowed your side to exploit the moralists of this world, thus having both the numerical and the PR advantage up to now. Now you think that you are so strong that you do not need them, so you are condemning the moralistic argumentation. Maybe you are right, we will see...
Saying something won't work and not even trying is one of the worst things you can do. I didn't want to hear it back then and I don't want to hear it now. Stop with the damn excuse Pacifica.
 9.
You are suggesting that you would have been open to friendship since Karma? Ha, you are either a fool or a hypocrite . Neither make good friends.
I am telling you I was.
 10.
Did make me laugh. "Remember that guy who smacked you around a bit, I think you should be friends"
Yeah, because hiding from them and hoping they don't find you works wonders.
 11.
I'm genuinely curious as to what you think the NPO could have done to "make sure this didn't happen". Since nothing in particular was cited in the CB, I'd like to hear it from you since you clearly seem to be a vocal supporter of the idea that NPO getting hit is due to their own shortcomings.
I advocated over and over that they try and become friends with a lot of the alliances that attacked them in Karma. If NPO and GOONS were friends again, like they were once with the old GOONS, this most likely wouldn't have happened. A good example of this is NPO and Legion. They hated each other for years, now they are really good friends. NPO did nothing to change their image with the "other side." If they would have taken steps to solve that problem, this would have never happened.
 12.
You may not care (which is silly), but exactly all of what you mentioned forces a man to now retreat and keep silent in his little corner as he has absolutely no room to pass judgment the way you are. But you are not a man. And that is a most terrible revelation as how you could be an NPO IO. System definitely isn't bullet proof, but at least is now better with more character individuals making it up. All in their powers. Which is proved by the fact you are attacking for no reason. The line couldn't go away, as your alliance fanatically sticks to it. They admitted to that more then once. You want more or did you get enough? Do you want to parade more your lack of character?
I think I am done with you, since all you keep talking about is me. Typical of you to attack my character and not the problem at hand, stay classy Branimir. Keep blaming others for your shortcomings.
 13.
Nonsense, again. Your current alliance brought this down on us, for no reason. And they are trying to rationalize it by our past from 2+ years ago, of which you were an integral part as an ex NPO IO. It is time for you to leave now. That would be for you own good, or do you wish I continue to make you look bad since you keep spewing nonsense?
Sure, keep going I would love to hear it. I am not arguing that my current alliance is attacking for no reason, I personally don't care about that. I don't care if they are using the fact that I was mean when I was handling their reps, as the war reason. None of that matters to me, so keep on going on about it. What I want you to tell me is, what did NPO current IO staff do to stop this war? What things did they did they do to make that line between us and them go away?
 14.
Regardless of whether you're right or wrong, I don't see how you can hold this viewpoint and also hold the view that this war is doing anything to revitalize the political scene (Which seems to be the justification that people are latching on to). NPO did what people ostensibly wanted them to do after Karma: they became quieter, gentler, and all-around nicer, and kept their nose clean. Two years later, the most exciting thing people can think to do is attack them. How pathetic is that?
I am not going to argue with you about the viewpoint, that is not something I share. While they might have done what some people thought they should, they didn't do what they should have done. This is what I am saying. The signs where there back then, they knew it, I knew it and so did everyone else. When you don't do anything to change that and hope that hiding in a hole will save you, that is when I say shame on you.
 15.
Listen man, I will be blunt with you. I dont care for your "Id be a better IO then them guys if I stayed" thing you got going. That is your personal issue which you have, that does not concern me. My opinion of the work of the current IO staff is positive, unlike the staff in which you worked in. Yes, that is correct. If you want it freshly cut, people like you, which were in the heart of many of things that NPO is now blamed for and forever condemned, sitting now on the other side of the fence spreading their "wisdom" are truly not in any position to do so. Cover your ears and sit in your corner. We are "paying" currently for your "sins" too, jacko.
You aren't paying for any of my sins, you are paying for what your current Officers couldn't do. I am not saying I could do it better, I am saying they should have done a better job of making sure this didn't happen. There aren't to many positive things that they did for the past 2 years to make this not happen, obviously. Again, I am not saying that I was the better IO, Only that your current staff brought this down on you.
 16.
Nonsense, of course. In lack of anything to blame on us, you blame on us nothing in its self? Bravo. It is quite unfair to say NPO did not try to find its place, but it was not given one. We basically were not allowed to sign a treaty with RnR for example (although that was for the better anyway, seeing this all during this wars). Or if you want more recent, with TIO we could only sign an ODP since their other allies were flipping !@#$ over it. We were needed to be the enemy. Fine. Have your go at us.
So if at first you don't succeed, give up and say it will never happen. That was about the way the Imperial officers handled it.
Oh please! What'd you want them to do invite you for tea and biscuits?
Yes, they could have. Maybe bought them dinner and taken them to a movie. I tried my hardest to get them to erase that line in the sand. No, they rather sign with the same allies that they had before karma, go back to that status quo.
I think pretty much anyone's hands would be tied after being a giant tech farm for a year. The terms forced Pacifica to be unable to support an effective upper tier for a long time. While they had a year of diplomatic "freedom", they did not have the strength to push their agenda like they were able to before. So there movements were quite limited. They also knew that you would want to beat them down again, and so didn't bring in worthless treaties and friendships with the likes of the current hegemony, only to be betrayed by them. Pacifica is full of patient people, unlike the current hegemony, and in good time, they will get their revenge.
Those reps didn't hurt the NPO that bad, it brought them out in a good spot to make a lot of moves. They just didn't do it.
 17.
Unfortunately, NPO has not be given a chance to exist in this "new brave world". It was not given a chance, because this environment is stale. And that is why it is dying. It is stuck in years passed, and there is no new dynamics. I am sorry for all the effort Cortath and other IOs put in trying to find a place for Pacifica in this hate filled world. NPO under his rule didn't do a single transgression, a single action against even the most sensitive of moral concepts. He and IOs really did a good job and they have changes NPO from withing and outside. It is a shame they were never given a chance.
I have to disagree with this. They have well over a year to do something. They wasted it way doing nothing, not making any moves to better the NPO. This lead to what is happening right now. If the Imperial Court would have do something to make sure that they weren't still in the eyes of their enemies things would be different. Sitting on your hands doesn't mean you put in an effort to make things better.
 18. I don't really feel to sorry for you guys, you had over a year to make sure this didn't happen. You did a poor job at this.
 19. We did it for fun, is that so bad? You should have done a better job of making sure this didn't happen. Sitting on your hands for a year didn't do anything to stop this. I warned you 6 months ago about this happening.
 20. I am going to enjoy this. See you on the other side guys.
 21. This is what you get when you give a woman something important.
 22.
AHAHAHAH oh wow! You all will argue and complain about anything. 23. Dear WC, You are an idiot, stop trying to make yourself seem important for the 9000th time since you started playing this game. It was old three years ago, now it has crawled under the porch and died. If I have to see one more of your self-love-fests I am going to rage. Thank you. sincerely yours, LS
 24.
More nukes, more experience, better morale, less ghosts.
MHA has More tech, more nations, More top nations (with a quick glance), and your morale statement is bias. Either way discounting MHA just because you think you are better than them is silly.
 25.
It's a good thing we purged all the defeatist scum from our ranks then (or they did it for us themselves).
Are you calling me scum?
