  1. You did a great job Dajobo. Eatem will be a good replacement though. Please don't put Tywin anywhere near gov.
  2. Just used it. Was looking into Generals post-war and was too lazy to do my own research. Thanks. As usual, great job Samus.
  3. With the amount of legit (I refuse to include the obvious cheat nations as legit sellers) tech sellers left, the market should not be controlled by those who pay for it. The price of goods should be set by those who sell the product. Even selling at 100 tech for 9 million, you're more than likely still going to find full slots as a tech seller with a reliable track record. There's a reason cheating is so rampant. Finding reliable tech is difficult unless you are in an alliance like NPO/NpO/RnR. Though, wars always help as I am back to selling! (At 9 mil for 200/300 ;))
  4. Of course not. I'm merely saying it's a bit ridiculous to speak of profit margins, or decry a tech seller greedy for asking for 9 million for 100 tech when they are providing you a product at a massively discounted rate. There's no arguing who benefits more, and as such it's a bit pointless to discuss the economics of it. It's clear who benefits more.
  5. Karma war. Not really any other moment like it.
  6. Reading comprehension is very important. Before insulting my math skills, you may want to read. I specifically stated who really wins in a tech deal when you consider profit margins? If I sell 300 tech for 9 million, I'll net around 4.5 million in profit. If you buy 300 tech for 9 million (DBDC doesn't pay for tech so it's a pointless discussion when you have "puppet nations" send it for free), you're getting 300 tech that would cost you how much to purchase on your own? You do realize you are getting the better deal out of it, correct? Buyers need sellers more than sellers need buyers, hence the rampant abuse of tech selling nations. I'd rather discuss tech buying with an alliance that actually purchases tech, however.
  7. A grudge will never end unless it is resolved on the battlefield.
  8. Congrats on peace. Now rebuild Polar. :)
  9. Actually, given that all 3 wars were declared on the 16th, left there for an entire day, and his war expired that night, upon which time, Bones jumped into peace mode, that does sound quite likely. Once his war against CT expired, he peaced out of these wars as well. Pretty pointless because it's not as if there's an army out to get this guy, and I highly doubt anyone who hadn't jumped in on him in the last few days was going to do it the last day to "stagger" him. You upper tier guys are awfully sketchy.
  10. I certainly have improved my typing skills. Used to type with one finger.
  11. Starfox101: You quit >_< and took a whole bunch of members with you to make TRS, and it promptly fell apart. But, but, I wanted to be an independent alliance with no treaties or protector. It was such a good idea, but bad for a raiding alliance led by me, haha.
  12. SPATR seems like an alliance of about 3 active players, lol.
  13. Too generous for the sellers? How about too generous for the buyers? Considering the price it would cost you to buy 100 tech, who is really winning in profit margins?
  14. Accused is really the wrong term when Zoskia has proven so much.
  15. Worsened political position? According to whom? It's abundantly clear that a great majority of alliances do not care for this attack on WTF, nor do they care about DBDC's grudge against CT for turning on them. There are those who will flow with whatever DBDC wants and WTF was already in a bad position with them. Nothing has changed post-CT-acceptance. It is moronic to assume WTF is a politically unskilled alliance for responding to an unjust attack with aggression, and accepting a member who is already attacking DBDC and inflicting pretty heavy damage. I'm sorry, I understand you would prefer WTF lie down and take it. I don't understand why you attempt to spin accepting a "mercenary" as a bad political move. CT is a wild card, yes. However, CT and WTF were both already at war with DBDC. Their marriage changes nothing and is a matter of convenience for two people with the same motive. Keep pretending WTF are the bad guys here, though. Perhaps one day Doom Squad will become a seperate entity and stop being DBDC cheerleaders. Until then, your opinions are going to be viewed the way they should be - incredibly biased, with little ground in reality.
  16. So you're telling me you are going to put CT in PZI? Good luck enforcing that one.
  17. You miss the point, however. Why would anyone waste their time saying WTF was wrong in accepting CT while ignoring and never commenting a thing about DBDC's actions?
  18. This is just an utterly nonsensical argument when you realize what's going on. DBDC holds dual membership with numerous alliances who right away accept them back into government positions after attacking neutrals, or other alliances without any justification. Why you've never complained about that, but are here to complain about CT basically makes you a complete hypocrite. Also, everyone does what you said makes you one of a kind these days. It's not rare. Everyone is jaded.
