The friend in our adversity we shall always cherish most. I wish we could go back to the first time we met Tyga and start over.

The world has changed and we have failed to evolve with it. Gone are the days of diplomacy and reason. Now we live in the ultimate expression of a state of nature. A time when unprovoked attacks are praised and old friendships forgotten. We are not innocent in how this world has progressed... Sooner or later, the day comes when you can't hide from the things that you've done anymore. We spent years fighting for our friends and we paid dearly, but we paid it gladly. Now we fight to defend ourselves from an unprovoked attack from those former friends. Relationships can dim, but we always have a choice in how we treat those that were once dear to us. A formal explanation for years of dedication might have been a good start, instead we were told our adversaries were bored. We all stand on the twilight of this world, ruthless unprovoked aggression will only hasten the inevitable outcome. However we are not yet ready to go into that good night. Once more into the fray. Into the last good fight we'll ever know. To the every lasting glory of The Phoenix Federation.

All that is required is to allow more war slots per nation and allow multiple nuke hits per day. Extremely large nations leverage the limits of how many opponents they can possibly face. Increase the cap on how many wars and who can launch those wars and suddenly the balance would shift quite a bit. A global war or two would take everyone back to the stone age.

Not sure how this came about or why, but have a good fight. I can think of several dozen other alliances I'd rather fight than you guys for many reasons. It is what it is.

It's been years since I was connected to neither BAPS or Valhalla, all is right(or wrong) in the world again. Time to make ready.

When I moved from leading a tiny alliance to a sanctioned continuum size one, one of the coolest moments was meeting other high gov types. Slayer called me up and told me "this guy moo is a good guy, my one rule for you taking over is repay our debt with NPO, we owe them. You can count on moo." Now prior to meeting moo, I'd actually spent a good deal of time fighting against NPO and had even been zi listed at one point shortly after GWIII. Our first meeting was amusing, instead of sounding like intimidating figure he was in CN, he had a high, but kind voice, those of you that talked to him know what I mean. So anyways I'll tell a story of shortly after I took over and we nearly broke away from Q before it became the cool thing to do, and this is what I always remember about moo. NPO was zi'ing one of our allies members because someone had figured out it had aided some fan reroll. I grabbed cj and we called up moo about the situation. We went back and forth for hours about it. Finally I said something about well I guess we'll have to re evaluate our treaties. Moo let out this shriek "hey hey heeeeyyy, theres no need for that." It was the way he said it that was so funny, it totally took a serious (internet serious business) moment and made it fun again. We'd hang out daily on skype, always a good time. Moo was a good person, with a genuine good nature. Online people can be anyone, that can raise suspicion or be freeing. In the end, Moo was who he choose to be to us, and in the years I knew him, that is what he'll remain to me. A friend with a kind heart and I'll miss those times we'd hang out.

[/quote] They were in a position similar to our deployments in Karma, after I ordered all reserves out of pm to take some heat off ml. I have not seen an alliance entering into a risky war like this in that deployment mode for some time. That said karma lasted 20 rnds of war for us and about 2-3 for VE. I'd expect to see them bounce back quite a bit quicker as a result.

Always good to end a conflict quickly and without ill will. Enjoy rebuilding.
