    As much as MK injected elements of humour into their dealings, you're intentionally leaving facts out if you believe that they didn't take their international position seriously. I've worked with them long enough to know that you're letting your personal biases infect something that should be common knowledge. I don't care how you feel about MK, but denying that they played the game pretty well is just ignorant.

     

    Nah man, MK just stood on top of the world for 3-4 years by dumb luck.

    As a leader of an unapologetic 'Lulz Alliance', and as a former thug of the Moo-era NPO oppression machine, I can assure you that all of your assumptions and beliefs are utterly wrong. In the 4 months that I served as a soldier in Pacifica's armies, we destroyed 2 small alliances, I personally brutalized 3 micro-alliances as they literally cowered in terror. We wiped an invasion alliance of hundreds off the face of the earth because it was suspected its leader might have anti-NPO tendencies, and had kept FAN under our boot-heel for the better part of two years.

     

    I don't think you understand, Ogaden.  NPO was very generous to all small and neutral alliances.  Just ask GPA.

    Although I appreciate the mass response by the many TOP members in this thread, my target was not TOP (or TLR). Rather, I had hoped to highlight what I believe to be the shenanigans of a few radical former MK members. It's unfortunate that TOP does not see eye to eye with me. However, I am still optimistic; now that the issue has been demonstrated, all eyes are on Mushroom Kingdom, watching to see whether my words will continue to ring true.

     

    This should have a limiting effect on MQ's strategic reserve in MK, and I'm sure TOP will be applying the necessary pressure behind the scenes to reign in any more rambunctious actions from MK. This, after all, is my sole goal here: to reign in threats to global stability. That wars be limited, and prosperity be widespread for all worthy nations, including neutral nations.

     

    As long as Mushroom Kingdom does not continue to send reinforcements or aid to MQ/Doombird/etc, I don't see any further issues. Let's all hope the following does not continue:

     

    "Look at me!  I'm preventing this thing that wasn't a problem in the first place!  You should all give me credit!"

    On friends > infra I believe it was Flak Attack who said something like "Friends > infra was a great tool to inspire us to fight NPO and a great tool to shame our enemies into beat downs". Elevating it into a guiding philosophy is like turning windmills into giants. It's just not there. RV says Francoism was the same thing. He certainly has the authority to say that, so maybe there never were giants here.

     

    That sounds terribly unlike something I would say.  I strongly support the Friends>Infra strategy.  So long as a friend continues to treat me and mine right, I'll stick by them.  That doesn't, however, mean I will extend that to all other alliances.  I am more than willing to throw outsiders under the bus to protect myself and my friends.

    So, my suspicion is confirmed.  You either misread or are a liar.  The specificity of those statements is quite clear, yet you ignore it.

    "a certain neutral alliance"

    "the neutral menace"

     

    And to elaborate further, straight from the words of Ayatollah Tamlanei himself:

    "the wind of change is blowing to remove neutrality from the Aquatic Tradesphere of GunhammaD"

     

    In the end, you spread lies about the words and intentions of the Mushlim people merely to justify your own aggression and sate your own bloodlust.

    GOP is one of the few neutrals who can fight a war, given their extensive TE experience.

    Best of luck to them :)

     

    Extensive TE experience means little when they are marching to war with 6:1 infra:tech ratios and sad, little warchests.

     

     

    I didn't see where DBDC posted a call to "Jihad" on Neutrality. Can you link me?

     

    I believe you misread that.  Not once does the call to jihad include that phrase.  Attempting to twist the words of Allarchon is a sin of the highest degree.  May he have forgiveness on your soul.

    I think that as long as a group (at least two nations) has a corresponding AA and some set process for making decisions that are binding on the whole group that is at least almost always followed, then that group qualifies as an alliance.  The commie alliances meet those criteria, as their entire memberships make decisions.  TDO meets those criteria obviously, but I don't think MQ does, since as far as I can tell they have no set process for making decisions, and even if they did, it would be very hard to follow it most of the time, given their lack of a space in which to do so.

     

    Tamerlane's word is the word of Allarchon and as such is the highest of law.

    Are you guys still arguing if MQ is a true alliance?

    do they have a charter? do they have forums? do they have a form of government? do they have treaties? are they protected by another alliance?

    was thriller a true alliance or a rogue alliance? was ninjas a true alliance or a rogue alliance? there are many more examples but still

     

    Our charter is the word of Allarchon, passed down through the Supreme Ayatollah Tamlanei.  He is our government.

     

    Treaties and protection do not make an alliance, unless you are suggesting that TDO itself is not an alliance, which is, of course, a ridiculous assertion.  Nor do forums, unless you don't consider NEW to be an alliance.  That, too, would be ridiculous.

    Now Ardus, my question to you is this: If MK was really disbanding, why not simply cancel all treaties and make one last glorious charge into NPO? That would be the Mushroom Kingdom I know. Instead, we are supposed to believe that a harmless neutral is this final blast of glory, while the majority of MK remains safe and protected by TOP. That sounds like part of a long term strategy, not leaving the world LUE style to me.

     

    Because that would be boring and be the obvious move.  We're about keeping the world on it's toes.  We did this because we're tired of doing things we've already done.  We've fought NPO enough already.
