  1. Bit late to the party. I did CCC’s DoW against NPO as an OpenAI post months ago.
  2. Right, that’s definitely not what Pacifica had in mind at all. Neither side in this war is going to surrender or sacrifice parts of their coalition, because, as Sarkin has pointed out a few times, this is arguably the closest and most competitive global war in CN’s history. Both coalitions have areas where they’ve excelled and others where they’ve struggled, and there’s no reason that either side deserves less than blanket white peace. So, no, there are no other options.
  3. Yep, I've noticed the exact same thing. I thought it was only after nukes at first, but it seems to be after nukes or GAs, and only for an unknown period of time directly after those attacks, like you said.
  4. Ok so yeah, this sad, drunken version can’t hold a candle to the PC post, but the essence of it - blind rage-posting on the OWF because CN people made you very angry - and the rest of this thread in general is peak CN for me.
  5. I dare anyone to read this thread and tell me that CN is dying. It’s impossible. This is CN at its very best.
  6. My goodness, the DoW on its own is great but this is top tier. o7 NG Deus Vult, my friends
  7. The Activity tab says that Darrin returned to the game on 9:49 AM, which is after the export file for the morning usually gets generated (around 6am IIRC). I haven't gone to the trouble of confirming this myself, but you should be able to check the file that was uploaded this evening and see that nation present now.
  8. This is a nice tribute, but I’m not sure what it’s doing in an IC forum.
  9. Also I’m sure you’ve figured this out already, but the world is kind of in the middle of a global war, so you’re not likely to get a lot of help at the moment. I would hit up some discords, maybe find a protector, and see if you can get some cash coming in.
  10. One of the more interesting changes is that the average member war score for the alliance stats really flattened out a lot. For me at least, it used to be a really good way to distinguish alliances’ military ability, but the update seems to make it appear a lot more even across the board. I have no idea whether that’s a fair(er) assessment of things or not, but it will be interesting to keep an eye on over time. Uh, I mean, my rank dropped and that makes me angery
  11. Yeah it would’ve been within a minute after update when it happened to me.
  12. This has happened to me at least once too, and I think one other person in our coalition reported it happening to them a few months ago, although obviously not against the same person in either case. For me, I didn’t get a chance to grab screenshots and report the bug, but I can verify that on rare occasions, CN seems to miss rewarding a valid DA.
  13. I would also point out that they didn’t even defend TKTB, at least not legitimately. They wanted to hit CCC for some reason that I honestly still don’t understand, so they did it without any valid defensive entry point, and without informing several of their allies, including Sparta. They clearly didn’t actually care about TKTB, because they avoided NG who had actually attacked their ally, and as a result, NG was essentially allowed to reduce the turtles to rubble almost completely unopposed. They also didn’t and still don’t seem to care about Sparta, since I guess you don’t need to care about allies if they’re not on your side? I’ve intentionally avoided wading into the conversations about KoRT because I don’t think I have anything of value left to add. I never intended or wanted to fight KoRT because, despite our differences and separate paths, I respected our history as former allies. They have reciprocated none of that respect, and in fact have sometimes been disrespectful towards CCC, but they are a sovereign alliance with no ties to us, so they don’t owe us anything anymore. That being said, I still think that their attack on CCC at the start of the war was illegitimate and cowardly, and it’s going to be a while until KoRT gets to live that down.
  14. We will see. Before the war, and even at the beginning, a lot of people were saying that conflict on this scale would drive a significant chunk of the player base out of the game. So far, that hasn’t borne fruit, and tbh I don’t think there’s a lot of great evidence that the drop is ever coming, much less at a predictable point like post war. The player base has consistently hovered around the 2500 mark for well over two years now, and that has been through both a sustained period of relative peace following the Caustic Elements war, and obviously this war that is now nearing its fourth month. I honestly think that we’ve hit the plateau of people who just refuse to quit playing CN unless admin turns the servers, which I’m assuming he isn’t going to do any time soon. Obviously I could be wrong, and there could be some collapse at some point from people who decide it’s not worth keeping their nations alive anymore, but I’m not sure why more of the same from the past few years would do it for anyone who’s made it this far.
  15. I went and pulled the alliance stats file from 6/22, and if someone had done the sanction race on that day, it would have looked something like this (it's late so I didn't take the time to format it too much lol). 1. New Pacific Order : 162.13 -> 165.25 (3.12) 2. Independent Republic Of Orange Nations : 116.76 -> 108.12 (-8.64) 3. Freehold of The Wolves : 70.16 -> 75.2 (5.04) 4. CLAWS : 63.61 -> 63.52 (-0.09) 5. The Legion : 46.08 -> 46.54 (0.46) 6. New Polar Order : 38.39 -> 39.72 (1.33) 7. Non Grata : 37.49 -> 36.29 (-1.2) 8. Knights Of The Round Table : 33.3 -> 36.22 (2.92) 9. NATO : 28.88 -> 31.91 (3.03) 10. Global Alliance And Treaty Organization : 28.96 -> 29.3 (0.34) 11. The Dark Templar : 28.61 -> 28.14 (-0.47) 12. Viridian Entente : 24.12 -> 25.58 (1.46) 13. Fark : 22.77 -> 23.16 (0.39) 14. Green Protection Agency : 20.86 -> 22.85 (1.99) 15. Orange Defense Network : 22.95 -> 22.7 (-0.25) 16. Argent : 19.57 -> 20.97 (1.4) 17. Sparta : 20.55 -> 19.63 (-0.92) 18. DOOMBIRD DOOMCAVE : 16.91 -> 17.7 (0.79) 19. Christian Coalition Of Countries : 14.56 -> 15.98 (1.42) 20. Post Grunge Supergroup : 11.88 -> 15.72 (3.84) 21. The Order Of The Black Rose : 13.16 -> 13.66 (0.5) 22. Federation Of Armed Nations : 12.15 -> 13.33 (1.18) 23. The Templar Knights : 12.88 -> 12.3 (-0.58) 24. Mostly Harmless Alliance : 12.4 -> 11.46 (-0.94) 25. The Grand Lodge of Freemasons : 10.24 -> 10.64 (0.4)
  16. Lol this is embarrassing...for you. Imagine declaring war on two nations around a year old (one that literally created on the day that Herogasm kicked off) and another that I think reactivated in the middle of the war, and jumping on the OWF to trash talk how "disappointing" they are. You really showed Polar, huh? Stuff like this is one of the biggest reasons that I love Piejonk's war score, since it factors in the quality of your opponents. Want to rack up damage against nations that can't fight back? Knock yourself out, but you won't get anywhere near the top 100 that way. I guess it can't stop you from making a fool of yourself on the OWF, though. @Piejonk you should work on that next haha
  17. This is actually a really interesting way to view war stats, since you'd assume that most of these alliances built up a fair amount from the start of the year until the start of the war in late June. Basically, across the board, the entire world has lost almost a year's worth of nation building.
  18. Please do lol, things have been boring lately. Let’s pit the two most declared-on alliances against each other and see what happens. I’m sorry to disappoint you, but I’m pretty sure they mean FL.
  19. Lol come on, this is never going to happen and you know it. Oculus is barely statistically “winning” against the alliances it’s already fighting, and now the majority of your NS can’t touch Polar if they wanted to. That’s probably why you all have only managed 8 wars since this was posted, and your track record over the past few months doesn’t suggest that’s going to get much better. I get it, you need to cling on to this idea that Oculus can curb stomp anyone who gets out of line, but that’s just not the reality anymore, and tbh I’m really going to enjoy watching Polaris help prove that.
  20. Honestly, congrats to KoRT. I know we’ve gone in very different directions, but I respect any alliance from our former sphere that can put its past behind and actively forge a new FA for today’s CN.
