You know what’s funny about a post like this? Do you know who welcomed CCC into an embassy by questioning us about an ally and telling us negative stories about them? Do you know who has openly banned nearly all members from one alliance from their discord server? Maybe you can guess who has outright told both allies and alliances adjacent to their allies that they will cancel anyone who signs a treaty with that one alliance, or who has actually followed through with that threat twice now, canceling on two different former allies for no reason other than signing a treaty with this enemy of theirs? Yep, you guessed it: Doom Squad. The reality is that NG had nothing to do with DS and DBDC canceling their treaties with The Wolves and then treating them like they’ve moved to the other side. There’s only one group here that is “proactively and subtly disrupting” relationships that their allies have with “an enemy of theirs”, and that’s Doom. It’s really not more complicated than that.

FYI, Lyricalz doesn’t show land growth since that isn’t available in CN’s stats file, but it does show that you went inactive in 2014 with 301 purchased land, and reactivated with the same amount. https://cybernations.lyricalz.com/nation/528882 I don’t know if the land growth formula has changed since 2014, but approx 1700 land for a nation created in 2013 sounds right for how it works for everyone else right now. For reference, my current nation was created in 2014 and has 1600 land growth.

Yes, I’m able to send aid to Shergzus now. Thank you! For future reference, was there something that I could have done differently during the nation sitting process to avoid having this issue pop up, or is it just a gap in the way that nation sitting is built?

As the title says, I’m attempting to send aid to a nation that I sat last year (approved nation sitting request which ended on 10/25/22 here), but even though it’s been a few months since that nation sitting period ended, CN is preventing us from sending each other aid, with the following warning: Is there a way to remove this error so we can send each other aid? I no longer have access to that nation and we do not live in the same household, so I don’t think we should be getting this error, unless I missed something in the nation sitting rules.

9 hours and no response from the so-called leader of Great Nation. I think we all know who the clear winner of this conflict is.

Major kudos to Piejonk for his incredible work on these stats throughout the war. I always looked forward to the updates for all of the stats, especially the alliance ones, and I think the individual rankings were absolutely genius, especially given the limited data that’s available to build metrics like that on.

Lol yes I am aware of alternate voting systems and why they’re better than FPTP for things like political elections. But, like you said, this is nothing remotely that consequential, both in terms of the options themselves and the outcome when one option is declared the “most popular.”

Smitty literally put his own option in at the last minute and voted for it, so I feel pretty confident that he wasn’t trying to split the vote. Regardless, I agree with jerdge that the two options should be combined for votes because they’re essentially the same name. That’s stupid because this is just a popularity contest, and the most popular name will be the one with the most votes. It’s really simple, and I think it’s funny that some people are transparently trying to find ways to avoid one option winning, even though it isn’t even in the lead right now, as of this post.

Uhh, you have heard of EQ right? Even ignoring there being obvious precedent for wars being named the same as one of the coalitions, our coalition has a few different names that it's gone by, including RFD and Pixel Shruggers, so I would not say Herogasm is "the accepted name" necessarily. Anyway, I think this is just supposed to be a nominations thread, so I'm fine with all of Smitty's options being on the list.
