  1. My strategy to counter NoR was full proof in holding our ground effectively against them, regardless of how many alliances they brought on their side. Since all it takes is one nation with billions to fund six other nuclear nations for over a year constantly with all their slots. Nation with $4b would last about 2 years using all slots for outgoing aid. We were effectively fighting NoR off without any damage which would bring us any closer to defeat and even gained some nuclear nations. We were self sufficient without needing to ask for tech deals or aid from anyone. It was easy, we could have consistently had a large fighting force active and internal funding it would have been years before funding was an issue. Due to unmentionable methods we don't have any rich nations able to fund the rest, although all it would take is one billionaire nation wanting to burn through their nation for a good cause to once more ensure Aevrum can't lose to any opponent. My strategy was almost full proof in beating the odds here & ensuring we're subject to no terms; although all it takes is one nation with the right amount of money to make up for unmentionable losses.
  2. Would probably take another nation with billions they're willing to blow through to keep this war going as long as needed for the enemy to give up. So because of unforeseen technical difficulties; my main plan for getting through this war vanished and don't really have any others. So while I've done my share to try making things interesting over the years; I think in upcoming years it will fall on others. Also the game needs more people willing wager against odds which seem unwinnable to keep things interesting. Allows unexpected turns of events to occur; which people find far more interesting than wars where the outcome is decided at the start based on how big each side is. Overly predictable wars tend to be boring.
  3. These are pretty much the same terms Cenk proposed when Grub pushed him to come up with something on CN Radio way back (After Grub uses the Sparta terms as an example when NADC couldn't think of anything Grub liked); thought the audio was posted on OWF.
  4. PB shrinking is symptom of not enough people putting any effort into making things happen; probably more players drop off on the years where amost no major wars happen and everyone focuses on self preservation. (People get bored if their nation is never used for anything really) If someone makes a nation and interesting stuff are going on; they tend to stay. If they make one and nothing is happening; they tend to leave. I first joined during the Unjust War; so I discovered the game at an interesting time even if I was to new to partake in that one.
  5. Interesting to see the Person of the Year and Runner Up both ex-Citadel Gov. Congrats on the well deserved award. The only difference between a boring year and an interesting one in CN is alliances leaders still doing stuff to make the game interesting; causing people to want to pay attention. We saw Umbrella start a war this year, assisting allies in some others; also you managing to keep Umbrella's tech program active is no small feat either. More so than the smaller player base, its a lack of leaders who want to keep doing things to make people interested which causes the perceived stagnation of the game. The antidote for the steady decline of this game is alliances leaders taking actions; which get people interested in the game. A few people can change the entire atmosphere of this game if they're in a position of power and start an interesting war scenario. You wield enough power in CN, you could make next year even more interesting if you decide to keep doing so. I doubt I would still be here if you were't around still when I rerolled; with so many other old friends gone. I probably would have been a little disappointed losing to anyone else, but I'm happy you won it. You definitely earned it. Don't lose hope, you're leader of one of the most powerful alliances in CN. Don't forget that. o/
  6. Become a member of Aevrum and be part of the action; become a Legend! Together we can change the world for the better! Apply In-Game: http://www.cybernations.net/alliance_display.asp?ID=15326
  7. Thank you to everyone who voted for me, even if I didn't end up winning. It been quite the interesting year, with all the ups and downs. Congratulations to Roquentin and Umbrella on winning!
  8. I'lll come to the table again if an impartial and fair mediator like Roq can be there. It would ensure at least some attempt to reasonable and focus on productive discussion over trolling. I want at least one other objective alliance Leader willing to mediate there, in order to keep things in perspective and productive. If you have issue with Roq, Caustic would also be fair enough I think to mediate.
  9. I need to make sure my members are going to be alright if I depart and it seems NoR has no intention of letting them go even if I remove myself from the picture...
  10. Guess we'll find out, good luck to you with your ambitions. I wouldn't count on me coming back; although the future holds infinite possibilities.
  11. Except you didn't do it. Keep lying to yourself though.
  12. I appreciate you adding your 2 cents on why I should end it here.
  13. Edit: Need to tie up some loose ends first.
  14. I'd rather just wait and see if my prediction comes true on you guys turning on NG if they don't align with RIA over the upcoming months. NG's strength was reliant on Oculus having his back, but without their help NG is in a very bad position on Maroon; surrounded by many alliances who despise them. NG had no backing from other alliances on Maroon (except me maybe) in the war against TTK; NoR was busy getting closer to NoR/TTK instead. Now RIA/NoR have been building up strength, when NG got weakened in the TTK War where no other maroon alliances fought. Bringing TTK closer to NoR as well. The Senate will soon be RIA, NoR, NoR, NG, TTK. So they'll only have one seat, with NoR/NoR/TTK/RIA can work together to always pass what they want with no regard for what NG wants. Only way they could regain some notable standing on Maroon having caved on giving TTK their seat and apologizing for it; would be if Oculus moved in and forced the Senate Situation like in the past. (Although if he can't mobilize Oculus to help him prevent enemies from overtaking Maroon; then he can't do much of anything. He's waited to long NG shot themselves in the foot by handing over the majority of the Senate to those they've waged several wars to keep out; although if they play a low profile they can get by. However they'll have no change of winning the Senate once RIA/NoR/TTK are allied & you guys decided to let other Maroon Alliances replace NG in the Senate. Having already caved, not sure how NG can come back as a major Maroon Player; since they've likely missed any opening to roll most Maroon alliances with Oculus assistance.
  15. I am a unifier. RIA/TTK/NG/NoR all getting along; who would have thought? lol
  16. ??? Weren't you the one who wanted to convince me NG is almost a non-factor on Maroon & fraction of NoR's strengths? Seemed pretty convincing when their close ally (NoR) argued against it & I see him apologizing repeatedly on OWF to TTK. Clearly he wouldn't be posting threads like this if he could, so seemed you were proven right in regards to the NoR/NG power gap.
  17. You're an asset to this community; someone needs to take out the trash; you always do it without complaint. I trust I can leave Junka to you.
  18. I don't need advice from a noob at politics, who has no respect from either side.
  19. Careful with the stove comments, might be a little to close to oven.
  20. I will make one prediction though. I'd be willing to bet NoR betrays NG within 3-6 months after I'm gone if NG hasn't aligned themselves with RIA by then.
  21. I was for a while, but the repeated wars made it difficult. I think its probably is time for me to move on regardless, if some idiot with no authorization to post anything on our behalf is enough for so many to support these types of terms and all the allies I could really count on have already moved on from this world. If I'm going down, I'll go down fighting. Although its a bit late to play the whole politics thing; to many enemies. My agreements with NG and Umbrella were always paperless, so I knew we'd probably be on our own if I ended up in some sort of war.
  22. If I surrendered, it would only be so I could focus on attacking you more fully.
