Wonder if a nation went inactive here, that's a pretty big tech drop for 2 weeks.

This has been happening to me several times lately, and happened in TE as well. I can grab screenshots if needed.

TBH, I feel it will break, downward. I see our numbers plateauing and maybe gaining for the duration of the war. Once the war ends, we'll probably see it dip back down, whether from people who are bored without a war, nations who give up on rebuilding in 2022/23/whenever it ends, and other reasons. Sadly, looking back. We usually see it drop post-war, but it would've been interesting had this thread been started a year or so earlier to catch the Oculus-MI6 war in full, SPaTR-Sengoku war, and a few others. We can see data from a few wars (all the micro-wars, Umbrella and crew raiding GPA, Snake Eyes/Ying-Yang), but honestly you see the biggest drops right at the end of wars, and for the following month - 2months. The only thing that really gets people to join is world events, and maybe the 2022 US Midterms MIGHT do it for a bit, but I'd wager a good 90%+ who join from a recent event and never played before, don't stay longer than a week max.

Hey Thandrum, and welcome to CN. It's always nice to see new faces. I'd suggest the best way to get tech deals (as well as a trade circle) would be to join an active alliance. There are a lot to choose from, but activity in alliances is spotty. I'd recommend joining any of the following (I've tagged some members of these alliances as well, just so you can chat with whomever you choose / They may also have other recommended alliances): Non Grata @Lyanna Mormont Fellowship of the Wolves @Smitty256 CLAWS @Tevron New Polar Order @Electron Sponge The Legion @deathbiter Knights of the Round Table @Lollerobot All have pretty good activity levels and shouldn't have an issue finding you deals / circles. There is a global war however that almost every alliance is fighting in right now. That may effect your initial growth, fair warning lol.

What a rollercoaster this thread has been.

Apologize as im not the OP, but to add what i think hes asking about. I believe there is a message when troops return home saying " *Attacking Nation* has attempted to attack your nation with overwhelming ground forces with battle odds greater than 95%. What troops you had deployed have been automatically returned home to prepare your defenses. If your opponent maintains greater than 95% battle odds and attempts to attack you further today you will not be able to retain any tanks that you may purchase. To avoid automatic redeployment of your forces in the future you must keep enough defending forces to maintain adequate defenses at all times.
