I think that's the wrong way to look at it. One should aim for victory wherever they go. When a new world opens up, it'd be silly to not test it out, and then, if you like it, try to win there, regardless of how you are faring in this world. You may be content to win in just one dying realm, but I'm not.

In the time I've been in the other realm, it has added 1000+ members. Meanwhile, in a similar time, CN has lost ~1000. I think denying that it is going to be overtaken is foolish, as it appears imminent.

An Announcement of our Intention to Declare War
Cazaric replied to One Eighty Two's topic in Alliance Announcements (IC)
We are delightful. I guess that's why so many people like to party with us. -
As our population dwindles ever more rapidly, and the other world grows, I fear we may see that reversing.

A notice from Sengbrella ft. Cowboys
Cazaric replied to Auctor's topic in Alliance Announcements (IC)
Wait, an alliance with an actual reason to hit us? Can't be... my eyes must be deceiving me. -
Grub's head is so far up his ass at this point that he's basically just a circular digestive system.

Is... is that a thing? Are we making this a thing?

...tricked you! It's a treaty. The Melting Pot Accords The North Atlantic Defense Coalition and Sparta sign this treaty in the spirit of cooperation and friendship. Article I – Sovereignty The parties shall respect the sovereignty of each other, and neither party shall engage in any conduct which may impinge on the sovereignty of the other. Article II – Non-aggression The parties shall not engage in aggressive actions against each other, including conducting espionage or declaring war on each other, or providing aid to enemies of either party. Article III – Intelligence Each party must share with the other party intelligence or information that relates to or affects the safety or security of the other party. Article IV – Optional Defense If one of the parties is subject to an attack from another alliance or rogue nation, the attacked party may request military or financial assistance from the other party and the other party is encouraged but not obligated to provide such assistance as it is capable of providing. Article V- Optional Aggression In the event that one Party requires assistance in an aggressive war against a Non-Signatory Alliance, both Parties are encouraged but not obligated to assist the other by means of political, financial, and military aid. This treaty provides both signatories with full legal justification to enter a conflict that concerns the other, if they so choose. Article VI – Termination If one of the parties wishes to terminate this treaty, the terminating party must give 48 hours prior notice to the other party. “And when Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer.” In Round 35, the Dark Order arrived to spread its shadow across Planet Steve. Born from the merger of the Angels of War and the Fearless Fighters, we quickly established ourselves as the premier alliance in this world. In the process, we made myriad friends and a legion of enemies. Our enmity with DEFCON 1 is fairly widely known. Their wars against us in Round 36 put us shoulder-to-shoulder with our friends the Avengers, and after their subsequent disbandment, most of their number joined the Dark Order. Since then, we’ve seen members from everywhere, but namely from Krabz and the Phoenix Cobras after they both disbanded. With each new member, our strength grew. And there was not an alliance in this world that could go toe-to-toe with us. But alas, all good things must come to an end. Boredom takes its toll. On this day, the 30th of May, 2016, we disband the Dark Order. DevilDog and myself would like to thank everyone who, over our five rounds, has called TDO home. Mostly we’d like to thank the members who stepped up and shaped TDO through their management, including but not limited to: Fiji, BurningGlory, Tim, octaviafleur, Blacklight and StevieG. And so ends the reign of darkness.

Since the D1 hit on TDO in the midst of this war... TDO losses: 101,378 D1 losses: 183,112 D1 cannot even win a war in which their opponent is half their strength, and already engaged in a war against three other alliances. In fact, I can't even remember the last time D1 won a war against anyone. It would seem that, in fact, quality does trump quantity. Who knew?

Hey, if that nuke would have done more than 1.5m worth of damages, technically it was worthwhile.
