I have not received a monetary bonus for logging into the game today. The last bonus according to the activity tab is for 31st December.

My opponent returned my deployment at the same time when I was launching ground attack. According to the messages (which I post below), one ground attack happened one second after my deployment was returned.

Actually, Kaskus is at war with many more alliances. Kaskus is one of the alliances from SPATR Coalition (SPATR, MONGOLS, Kaskus) which is at war with Oculus Coalition (NPO, IRON, Umbrella, VE, GLoF, DT, NG). SPATR-Oculus war started on 15th March 2016 and it is still ongoing. I also took part in this war (I was a member of MONGOLS and SPATR), although I was only fighting for one year and four months.

Revenge can be a goal of the war, but I don't see why it would affect the tactical decisions. Out of curiosity, why did you decide to turtle? I was in similar situation, but with much less tech (I only had 63k tech when the SPATR-Oculus war started) and I haven't turtled at all. I am suprised that you are using this tactic in spite of your large tech advantage.

Today I was attacked with three spy operations. Here are the messages:

I don't agree with this. If allies need help, defending them is never "pathetic", even if they did not request assistance. For example, SPATR did not request assistance from their allies after being attacked by multiple alliances in March 2016. Despite this, all SPATR allies defended them. That was not "pathetic". That was honourable. That was the right thing to do.

I never turtled during this war. I don't like this tactic. However some opponents from Oculus turtled against me. Anyway, a member of NPO divulged (in the other thread) that you had 30bil at the start of the war. With such a war chest it is best to stay in the middle tier.

I'm not aware of any cases of rage quit in SPATR or MONGOLS. I think Oculus simply wants to "win" this war. SPATR wants to uphold their principles. And MONGOLS continues to fight to help defend our friends (SPATR and their allies) who were aggressively attacked by Oculus. I have a lot of respect for TPF. You are great warriors. You still have over 30k tech. At that stage, I was also mainly doing damage with nukes (and aircraft), whilst my damage output from ground attacks was relatively small (although I didn't turtle during this war at all). The situation gradually changed as my tech level dropped. During the last 9 months I have been fighting in the middle tier and conventional damage contributes a lot to my damage output.

There's no point in making a counter-offer. Oculus is clear about their intentions. And what would that be?

One year anniversary of the start of SPATR-Oculus war SPATR-Oculus war started exactly one year ago, on 15th March 2016. On that day large coalition, mostly composed of alliances assembled in Oculus bloc, started to attack alliance MONGOLS and alliance Swash Plates And Tail Rotors. Subsequently, all allies of SPATR entered the war in defence of SPATR. To this day, Kaskus, Nusantara Elite Warriors and The Imperial Remnant remain involved in the war. For a long time, there was no communication regarding peace between SPATR and Oculus coalition. Eventually, in November 2016 Oculus coalition dispatched peace offer to the SPATR coalition. They demanded surrender of all alliances in the SPATR coalition. This demand was refused. And so the war continues. Congratulations to The A Team! SPATR wasn't trying to "split the alliance between two AAs to limit backlash". There was no decision by SPATR leadership to split the alliance in order to conduct a war (such decision would require leadership unanimity). In March 2016 those who wanted to start a war left SPATR and created their own AA (MONGOLS). The members who left did so on their own accord. The main leader of SPATR didn't take part in this plan. The situation changed when both MONGOLS and SPATR were attacked by Oculus. After that happened, membership rights and leadership positions of those who left were restored.

I understand that you are referring to Bones personal allies and not SPATR allies, but nonetheless let's not forget that: At the time of the attack (March this year) SPATR had three allies: Kaskus, NEW and MInc (almost the same as now, except MInc is now Minc Reborn). All three of them helped SPATR by countering Oculus and their subsidiaries. Kaskus and NEW are still fighting against Oculus. MInc made a peace deal with Oculus (after fighting for a long time), but they asked SPATR whether SPATR would be OK with it before making this deal. Bones had personal treaties with some DBDC members (e.g. with Cuba). I didn't know specifics of those agreements. In any case, I didn't expect them to help and they didn't help. The only exception was one member of DBDC who helped MONGOLS. But he had been SPATR member in the past.

First of all, SPATR doesn't "demand" or "expect" that Oculus Coalition will offer peace. My statements here (that Oculus Coalition hasn't offered peace) were simply statements of fact. I have pointed this out merely because some people were talking how SPATR "refused" something. Whereas nothing was offered so nothing was refused. Besides, I don't see why it is considered so important which side will be the first to extend a peace offer. It's not important for SPATR or MONGOLS in any case. And as far as attacking nations without wonders is concerned: In the beginning of this war Oculus Coalition sent nations equipped with almost all wonders against nations with only a few economic wonders or no wonders at all. So now SPATR Coalition is merely returning the favor. Fermion posted only amount without specifying whose war chest it is. I guess he was referring to Sgt Gus' war chest. In the beginning of this war Sgt Gus told me his war chest was 14bil, which coincides with amount posted by Fermion. So 3bil spent is reasonable, especially if one takes into account that Sgt Gus was sending large amounts of foreign aid during this war.

As of yesterday (15th November) exactly 8 months passed since the start of the SPATR-Oculus war. To celebrate this occasion, three of my opponents from Oculus were featured on yesterday's "Top 7 Day Smallest Nation Gains" list (on 2nd, 3rd and 4th position): Many of my opponents were featured on this list over the years, but I think it is first time when three nations at war with me appeared on this list at the same time. Only IRON official has spoken in this regard. But it seems other alliances assembled in Oculus Coalition have similar stance. I think it is not very relevant who will be the first to extend a peace offer. And, for the record, SPATR and MONGOLS are not demanding that Oculus Coalition asks for peace. Any such demand would be unenforceable anyway. BTW, strictly speaking one government official from Oculus alliance asked for peace. It was official from The Dark Templar. However, they only asked for peace for one of their members (Nisky), so it is not relevant for the war as whole. It seems that Oculus hasn't had enough of this war. There is next to no advantage for Oculus to keep grinding down SPATR Coalition. At this point SPATR-Kaskus-NEW-TIR Sphere has effectively no external treaties. So grinding this Sphere down is like grinding down WTF or GPA. That being said, Oculus has so huge statistical advantage, that it is not a big problem for them to continue this war for a long time. If we take into consideration individual nations, then some of them have taken noticeable loses, e.g Tundra Mountain (GLoF) went from 10k tech and 9bil war chest to 5k tech and 4.7bil war chest (before rebuilding) as the result of several wars against SPATR Coalition. However, if we take into consideration the whole coalition, their loses are only small percentage of their overall strength. They also have vast aid capacity, which is very important. For example iSocialism (IRON) had 680mil war chest in April. Right now they are broke (since a few months). Another example is Niberia (IRON) which had 530mil in August and now they are broke as well. There are other nations in similar situation. It looks good for SPATR Coalition on paper, but the problem is Oculus just sends an endless stream of war aid to their members who don't have war chest. So the fact that some of their members have lost their war chests and are now broke doesn't really matter. Even a relatively small alliance, like Sengoku, was able to provide a considerable amounts of aid. Prior to their disbandment, majority of Sengoku members below 70k NS were broke or very close. As far as I remember, Sengoku top tier was capable of sending large amounts of aid to their middle and lower tier.

Two members left MONGOLS and created their own alliance. I guess that Oculus wants to continue this war until SPATR Coalition is defeated. In any case, SPATR and MONGOLS haven't received any peace offer from Oculus Coaliton so far.

The last 5 nations which were fighting against me: 1) Neo Ancient Greece (IRON) - currently at 1.6k tech, military wonders, 3.5bil war chest 2) My Hero Party (DT) - currently at 2.8k tech, military wonders, 4.8bil war chest, navy 3) Novasea (NPO) - currently at 5.3k tech, military wonders, 200mil war chest 4) RHLand (NPO) - currently at 7.9k tech, military wonders, less than 100mil war chest 5) Tundra Mountain (GLoF) - currently at 4.8k tech, military wonders, 5bil war chest, navy These are their current tech levels (i.e. reduced due to the wars). So like I said there is a lot of nations in Oculus which dropped down (or just were staying in lower ranges deliberately) and thus they have military wonders. In some cases they even have advantage in some areas, like working EMP or navy.

I agree, this war is fun. It would be interesting to see the stats of the damage inflicted as well. During this war I have destroyed over 77k tech and over 1 million of NS. I don't have such stats for anyone else though. This is incorrect. There is a lot of nations in Oculus that dropped down to lower NS ranges, due to this war and other wars. They have the military wonders and in many cases war chest and sometimes navy as well. There are also nations in Oculus alliances with military wonders that seem to be permanently staying in the low tier, even before this war. On top of that, enemies of SPATR Coalition are far more numerous and they have vast aid capacity at their disposal.

Announcement regarding SPATR-Oculus War The SPATR-Oculus war started on the 15th March. Swash Plates And Tail Rotors and MONGOLS were attacked by a large coalition of alliances, mostly form the Oculus bloc. All allies of Swash Plates And Tail Rotors (i.e. Kaskus, Nusantara Elite Warriors and Monsters Inc) defended SPATR against the Oculus Coalition. Afterwards, The Imperial Remnant (protectorate of Kaskus) was also attacked by the Oculus Coalition. There are many things which can be said about this war. But one thing sums it all up: The names of members of alliances from SPATR Coalition are bolded. I would also like to address one more thing. Recently there seems to be some confusion regarding why this war has been going on for close to 6 months. So far neither Oculus Coaliton nor SPATR Coalition offered their opponents a peace treaty covering all alliances involved in the war. I haven't claimed that Oculus is keeping SPATR or MONGOLS at war indefinitely. I'm not privy to your plans.

My only connection to DBDC before I joined SPATR was that I were on DBDC raid target list. After joining SPATR I ghosted DBDC AA a few times, but I were never their member in they way they define it (i.e. I didn't have access to their private venues of communication). There are four ex-DBDC members in SPATR and MONGOLS, true. So what? How this makes SPATR and MONGOLS a part of Doom Sphere? In many alliances there are former members of different alliances. I find it interesting that some people still connect us to DBDC, after the treaties were cancelled and even now, after members of Umbrella, DT and IRON who claim double membership in DBDC have fought against MONGOLS top tier (which includes ex-DBDC members). So do you think that DBDC was fighting itself?

SPATR is no longer allied to DBDC. The treaty was cancelled more then a year ago. SPATR was never allied to Doom Kingdom. My question was what SPATR did, not what "Doomies" did. Your claim was that SPATR "spent so much time earning the ire of" someone. So who that was? Your answer doesn't explain anything, because: 1) Doom War - SPATR didn't take part in it as alliance and we adhered to NpO wish of not sending foreign aid to DBDC. One SPATR member went to DBDC to fight for a short time, one more was fighting from DS, but they both returned to SPATR long before the war was over. After this war started Badlands merged with us and then some of them (several members) took part in that war, but they were not following SPATR rules of conduct and eventually in January 2015 (so before the Doom War ended) most of them were removed from SPATR. So SPATR haven't spent much time (or resources) fighting in this war. And BTW the fact that someone was fighting in the Doom War on the Doom side doesn't mean that they were in Doom Sphere (allies tend to help allies during wars, that's all). 2) Raids on numerous alliances - which members of SPATR took part in them? Not people who later became members but who were members at the time of raids? To my knowledge that were three members: Bones, Commander Bean and myself. Plus Zxcsd helped after I was countered by FAN, but that was after my raid against FAN resulted in an alliance war. I don't think that a few raids per nation can be described as "numerous". 3) Wars on neutrals - SPATR-TDO war lasted less then 24 hours and then two members (including myself) fought against Pax Corvus for several days. Not sure whether you regard WTF as neutral AA, but considering the events which preceded the war between DBDC and WTF a notion that SPATR earned the ire of WTF would be rather strange. The way I see things Doom Sphere was DBDC, DS and later DK and their protectorates (like SNX). SPATR was never in Doom Sphere, we just had ODOAP with DBDC and DS, like many other alliances. Why do you think SPATR was in Doom Sphere? And the notion that MONGOLS were in Doom Sphere is even more strange - MONGOLS reformed in March this year, long after SPATR treaties with DBDC and DS were cancelled. Do you think that SPATR was in the Doom Sphere not only before, but even after cancellations of those treaties?

As far as the groups that were affiliated with SPATR are concerned I guess that you are referring to DBDC and DS. "Allied" would be a better word to describe SPATR former relationship with DBDC and DS rather then "affiliated" though. But what groups that are affiliated with SPATR now are you referring to? (Since you have written "are and were affiliated"). Is this directed to SPATR and MONGOLS? If yes, then who are those we supposedly "spent so much time earning the ire of"? SPATR-Oculus war started on the 15th March. So it's close to four months. MONGOLS intend to keep fighting as long as SPATR keeps fighting. And SPATR plans are not based on war chests levels.
