  1. Been a long road from the fall of '09. Those reparations made one hell of a forge - thanks for that. o/ Pacifica o/ The Orders o/ Our friends and enemies - wouldn't have been the same without you.
  2. lol - CN wars haven't been fair since the Great Wars' era.
  3. Oh yea, it was definitely adopted for CN...can't find it atm though
  4. o/ Pacific Umbrellas o/ NG o/ War Good luck gents.
  5. Why bother with excuses when you can just leave it at "not wanting to put forth the effort" ? You do it, or you don't.
  6. ^Things that should be done before leaving.. Good luck. Might want to consider not letting people do anything they want...people tend to do dumb things
  7. All your effort is much appreciated. Y'all aren't the only ones having fun!
  8. QFT. Still my favorites...though part of that was jrcom I'm sure. Idk. The skill gaps were way more evident in Karma...not nearly as fun as fighting someone your own skill level. ^^ Would do again. December 2006 / F15pilotX here.
  9. I suppose some have fun by being serious :P Personally, I kinda enjoyed the banter this last war; hopefully it continues and brings more people from all sides to the conversation.
  10. http://imgur.com/ZtGM5pE ...and we still have that many. No worries Cowboy, your hopes are secure with us ;)
  11. Why don't we just all agree to blow things up and enjoy it? :P The details? semantics, I tell you.
  12. I dunno man, seems like the difference with us coming in is that it's exposed the true nature of some of the alliances residing here. One round (out of...35?) doesn't define a game any more than the last one did. It's what you make of it, I think. Regardless, hope you stick around, would be a shame to lose you. :)
  13. Now look what you've done greco. GREhCOO! See there's this thing called war. When you're at war, you attack the other side. When you want peace, you negotiate with the other side. When you're too mad to do either, well, you post topics like this...I guess? :P
  14. "This type of play" being...trying to win against overwhelming odds? Not surrendering just because a couple hypocrites try to bully you? I'm confused as to how you think NDO's position (with 17/24 nations in peace and only 9 active wars) is even remotely bad in comparison to Eurasia (nearly all at war) Perhaps you should talk to your friends in DEFCON/RE, as to why they won't negotiate reasonably? Or even better, hades could negotiate on his own. More likely, he doesn't think NDO is getting hurt remotely enough to negotiate.
  15. So your nation gets bill-locked and you post an OWF thread to complain about it? That's just silly. :P
  16. Agreed on both points. I personally wouldn't include you in the group whose 'moral stance' and actions are different, from what I have learned/observed. Second, their actions vis-à-vis Eurasia seem to have little relation to NDO aside from using the events between our alliances to their advantage / to make a point.
  17. The weakest opponent we could hit? NDO was #4 in the game. You were not even close the weakest opponent we could have hit. Is the 'club' others mentioned, that only the top 4 alliances exist in your mind? :) You're a fool if you honestly think the AA score means anything... Did I mention score? My second statement stands, regardless of your ranking method. ^^Context. Sorry, try again with the stats. We grew to twice your size when even MORE than that number declared on us. I believe you forgot to address my second statement...you know, the main point, where I mentioned that you were far from the weakest? Your spin on things makes the earth seem stationary. I was simply pointing out greco's hyperbole, and then you attempt to "prove" something even the original poster wasn't even trying to assert: If you're going to groundlessly mock others, first get your own facts straight. I get that you have an agenda. We all do. Just stick with the facts and we'll get along great.
  18. That was a mis-calculation by DEFCON and RE. They wanted to drive us into submission, but they completely misunderstood the Eurasian mindset and its antecedents. The harder the going, the firmer our resolve. We're reasonable people, but we will not be ground into submission by a couple of hypocritical leaders. They don't like their precarious balance of power being upset, and we just happened to give them an excuse to act on it. Glad you recognize that as well. I'm glad no one wants the transfer of politics to happen. :)
  19. Did I mention score? My second statement stands, regardless of your ranking method.
  20. Okay, that's fair enough re: coalitions. Haha, a "do-not-call raid" list, I like it :P
  21. Hmm. How are little alliances to have an effect on the game if coalitions are forbidden? They certainly can't take on some of the bigger alliances without banding together. It seems like 2/3 of the alliances by default under the code are unable to really have influence?
