Also, emergency elections for Political Commissars are to begin immediately. As you all know, the Party was founded because there was a need for a socialist alliance in CN. FAN did the calling out, not me. Everyone can see our pitiful lack of preparedness, organization, and react-to-contact procedures. In my opinion, we should just acknowledge all of that and work towards a set of procedures that will project an image of strength and unity of purpose in future conflicts. I think FAN actually provided a service to DL by bringing this to our collective attention. I don't take inter-alliance rivalries too seriously insofar as actively being secretive about internal politics and so forth [OOC: at the end of the day, it's just a game]. Obviously people on the OWF these days take things very seriously and have a strongly adversarial attitude, but that stuff is for nerds. :popcorn:
