1. I shall engage the Internal Security procedures. Exploding skull chips for all. o/
2. Now if he'll just share the location of the Regent's personal reserve of mead. Congrats, Levi.
3. Aye, time to go and nurse my dragon back to health. I'll have to find some citizens to sacrifice to her, not that there are many about now. Good fight, gentlemen.
4. Shame, I suppose. No terms extend to the lovely animals of our Zoo, so fight on I shall. Oblivion, here I come.
5.
Go get em guys, even if you guys do have a few screws loose..
Few screws? My dear sir, my entire mental framework is unhinged, let alone missing a couple of screws. And that's a large cornish pasty, too.
6.
Ahh much better. Hana will be so happy
War is such a beautiful thing, after all.
7.
Check now - The Little Englander was late to the party again. Something about couldn't wake his dragon or such
Yeah, my prime dragon was messing about and wanted feeding. Can't blame her, I suppose.
8. Let loose the dragons of war. Yes, I said dragons. I kept an enclosure of them just for this purpose.
9. Oi, my last name is Smythe! As Levi has said.. sad to see a downgrade, but having some ties rather than none is always better. Especially when the alliance in question is cool.
10. Ah, my first home. I can't believe Toga didn't sabotage this in some way. o/ Legion
11. Pure class during the war, pure class afterwards as well. I look forward to these strengthened bonds between us.
12. That was an enjoyable war. Think that was my third major CN war in close to three years of playing.. 2nd loss (first being with the Legion in GW3). But damn, that was enjoyable. Umbrella certainly has some class acts and respectable opponents. You guys know your stuff, and it was brilliant fighting against you. Can't say the same about other opponents who decided to troll instead. I guess old age has made me mellow... Either way, onwards and upwards.
13. May Thor bless my blades. TPF, awesome to stand with you guys. I look forward to meeting the enemy on the battlefield, and I look forward to being showered with radiation.
14. Once again, you find yourself tuning into DBC News 24 for the headlines from Diamont's flagship news channel. As always for the evening broadcasts, Jensen Trent is anchoring them with correspondents around the nation. The bells toll from the Palace, and the theme tune begins. Once it ends, Jensen begins his daily broadcast. Good evening, this is the news at 10 o'clock, I'm Jensen Trent. The Diamantian Royal Armed Forces came home today from their successful campaign against Togashire. While this campaign was only a test of military readiness, it is being touted by leading Generals as a resounding success with all three rounds going to Diamont's forces. While the alliance that Diamont is part of, known as "Valhalla", is particularly known for their military prowess, no matter which alliance blocs Diamont has been part of, there has always been the so-called "Iron Wall", whereupon enemy military forces cannot pierce the defences of the Diamantian armed forces. His Majesty, Lord Smythe, commended his armed forces in a parade earlier this afternoon. Attending the ceremony with His Majesty was Queen Vanshira as well as the royal couple's eldest two daugters, Princesses Callie and Laisana. Princess Laisana herself took part in the operation, but behind the front lines as a tactical advisor to the forces in Diamont's new "Neogon" Command Centre in Farnborough. In other news, Lord Xigbar, Diamont's Judge of War, described the proposals for the new Weapons Research Complex to be based in Winchester to the media. Meanwhile, protestors were marching in Aldershot, claiming that such a facility would damage the environment and increases taxes on ordinary citizens, but these claims were dismissed out of hand by Lord Xigbar. Now we'll move onto the Weather, with Kelly Jenkins...
15. A middle aged man is sitting at a news desk in a modern studio as you tune in to Diamont Broadcasting Corporation's "News 24" channel. He shuffles his papers and then stares directly at the camera, ready to bring you the news. The familiar bell sound from the Diamont Royal Palace in Aldershot is played along with the theme tune for the news before he begins to speak: "Good evening, I'm Jensen Trent and here are today's headlines: Foreign Diplomats have been summoned before His Majesty, Lord Smythe today, with a demand to know why their national leaders had been slandering him in open communications. Representatives from the "One Touch Football" alliance, the "Random Insanity Alliance", "Vanguard" and also the alliance known as "RAD" were called at 9am for an urgent meeting with the King. It is understood that His Majesty was extremely displeased with statements made with regards to "posturing" on local news channels. When the diplomats failed to issue an apology, or a way to rectify the situation, Lord Smythe decreed that they be expelled until further notice, with arrest and imprisonment the punishment for failure to adhere to the order. Protesters loyal to the King soon had the embassies under siege, throwing various missiles such as bottles and cans at the fleeing diplomats. While some critics have called this a brash move, His Majesty issued this statement: None of the diplomats could be contacted for comment, nor could their nation's leaders. In other news, the Diamantian Royal Army have commenced war games with the nation of "Togashire". The leader, Toga, is a personal friend of the King and as such, this is seen as a gentleman's duel between the two states. It has been reported that in the first wave, Lord Smythe's forces won the battle with the second round going on as we speak. We'll do everything we can to bring you the news on that later. Now, moving on to Sports news, with David Jones..."
16. I believe that's a form of proxy. And proxies are illegal in the game. So there you have it.
17. Either that or he's just trying to get people to sign up to get this reversed when there is no need to. However... this thread has now degenerated to the point where people are seemingly reporting others for flaming, trolling and even mod bias. That's suggesting to me that the thread is slowly losing control. I think that while I'm not the OP, I'm going to ask the mod team for a lock on this. Not to stifle discussion, but to prevent a full flamefest from developing. I'll consequently leave them to provide judgement on what to do.
18. I define "top" as 0-1%. 1-2%, which is where I reside, is for old buggers who have taken some hits over the years. If I were a top nation, I'd be at 1% or below. Unfortunately, due to wars that's not the case and probably won't be any time soon. But I digress. I'm feeding trolls here, and they will bite the hand that feeds them, so I shall refrain. Given Admin's previous response, I hardly see the changes being totally reversed. In short: "loltrolls".
19. I'm not a top nation... roughly top 2%... and I haven't been hit hard at all, like I said before I've lost like 100k per collection. I'm basically shrugging my shoulders at this one. Not supporting, not hating. I really just don't care. Change happens, yes, and if implemented slowly, humans don't resist. But you can't have your cake and eat it. Business as usual. And personally, I think everyone should just take a chill pill because people can't control their words. Shouldn't have really gotten to that stage in the first place, but meh. Wishful thinking.
20. I've hardly noticed any change at all for some strange reason, even after the changes. So no worries... while I'm starting to show concern that people are willing to flame over suggestions, I hardly find that unusual...
21. That is something to speak to the mods about although I doubt they'd take too kindly to nations rerolling to dodge in-game warnings.
22. I'll quite happily nuke you. Then we'll see who's so smug.
23. I thought the part about mod harassment was different... could be wrong though.
