1. Nothing says Happy Christmas like nuclear winter.
 2. STA always stands by her allies. Like them or not you have to respect them.
 3. I know what it means, and yet I still find my self asking what is this?
 4.
I wonder if people can keep a straight face in their private conversations with their allies when they request/recommend/advise said allies to drop their treaties with RIA, when they were the ones bashing Xiphosis when Xiphosis requested GOONS to drop their treaty with MK. Hypocrisy is a world who never get old around here.
revisionist history at it's best right here.

 6.
So what does RnR stand for?
You swear to never divulge what RnR stands far when you join, however after 5 years I think it is time to let the world know that RnR stands for Ridiculous Rhinoceros.

 8.
give me some credit at least, i'm not juslen after all >_>
If it was Juslen we were talking about we would be betting on how fast he could put HIMSELF in nuclear anarchy.
 9.
Sadly it's already over, 49 people played.. sadly we expected 2 and a half hours at the most
I was thinking more like 2 and a half minutes. It is Blanding we are talking about.
 10.
Excuse me, I was spied the other day, where is my intel?
as was I.
 11.
I've had some technical difficulties over the years, namely issues with the number 20 and Woo for 5 years!
Congrats guys, the only thing that saddens me about this announcement is it means in about 2 weeks my nation will be 5 years old. Is there an official pool somewhere on how long it will be before Blanding nukes an alliance mate on accident?
 12. I am still trying to figure out if this will make it more or less likely that MK and VE will try and end our little skirmish.
 13.
"Do as I say not as I do" - Non Grata, 2011
saying the same thing over and over doesn't make it true.
 14.
People can call it whatever they want, but it's obvious to everyone that the NSO lost this war in every way. In less than a few weeks they'll start claiming it was a victory via some backwards logic, but to everyone sane and rational this was a well earned victory for Legion, and a defeat for Tetris, NSO, and their allies. I mean, in order to view this as anything other than a defeat for the NSO you have to be stupid or utterly ignorant to how this war played out. Legion, I know you fought well and worked hard. Many doubted you, but you proved them wrong. Well done, my friends.
Of course Legion won, everybody knows that and they earned some respect for finally standing up for themselves. However, You actually helped make my point for me, in not forcing NSO to surrender and/or admit defeat they allow people to make idiotic claims. This kind of thing goes all the way back to the beginning of planet Bob.
 15. So NSO ends up not having to surrender or admit defeat? Well congrats to Legion on winning the battle and congrats to NSO for winning the war.
 16.
People will complain and cheer based purely on their tribal allegiance as usual, but at least this will make things interesting. Legion and their allies had their chance to entertain us with a real war, time for the big boys to step up.
I guess I will be one of the exceptions to this rule then. I have no problem with "I just don't like you" being used as a CB. I have no problem with "I see you as a threat in the future so we will take you down now while we can" being used as a CB. This however is too close to the "community police" that has been fought against more than once. It's not the action that bothers me, it is the BS posted trying to justify it.
 17.
Sadly, it was never activated when there was an actual need.
I was just pointing out that it had been used once, even if it was not really needed at that time. In fact it was R&R that went to Iron when CSN countered Iron offering help. This treaty was signed in a different time, Friendship was partly involved but it was more for Orange Unity. I know Sphere unity is a foreign concept to many in this age but back then Orange was working hard to get along after several months of bickering, accusations, misunderstandings etc. By the time this treaty was really needed by either side the political standings had changed and both alliances had drifted to opposite political sides. That it stood this long when there were allies on both sides hoping to see it end speaks a lot for the leadership and the friendship of R&R and Iron.
 18. And so goes one of the last pieces of "Orange Unity" I would like to add that this treaty was activated once.
 19. Demon as President??? My goodness how far R&R has fallen.
 20.
There was no bluff involved. We meant everything we said in our post. So far we have lived up to it.
I have heard more than one person speculate that you (collective you) did not think Polar would do anything because of fear of giving somebody a reason to hit them. Of course those are just CN rumors/speculations so I will take your word on it.
 21. Good to see Polar stepping up and calling TLR, GATO,Asraard and Rok's bluff. Bet they didn't expect it.
 22. just a couple notes: Diplomacy was attempted, UPN balked and NG called their bluff. I know UPN thought there would be more talks etc but there is nothing that says there has to be. If NG had waited, gave UPN an ultimatum then UPN would have had time to prepare for war. They could have gone to peace, changed defcon, bulked up etc. Being hit by a blitz 4 hours early caught them off-guard and unprepared. This was just as effective as an update blitz if not more so.
 23.
Which was exactly my point, thanks.
I just said it better. It is also the reason I have no problems with UPN allies staying out.
 24.
NEW/DF war comes to mind, yet they were praised for honoring that NEW wanted them to stay out. You should know the [s]hypocrisy[/s] routine by now.
Praised by some, trolled by others depending on what side of the web people were on. Just like this case.
 25.
Sure, and if NG had declared right after you might have a point. Thing is they didn't. They tried to use the incident as a means of making UPN kowtow. UPN refused to kowtow but still offered reasonable reparations, which were rejected because it was never about the money. It was about demeaning UPN.
Reasonable to who? looks like your name suits you.
