It is not often that one sees something this strange happen, usually when you add two things, you tend to get at least the sum of the two. So if you add two mediocre you might get one mediocre, or maybe if you were smart, one more than mediocre thing. Over here, something very strange happened, the addition went fine, the result was better than the sum of the two, then somewhere down the line, a specific reagent got added to the mix and that brought the quality down so bad that its worse than trump university now.
