I was hoping I wasn't the only one who is completely out of the loop >_> My attention span for all things CN is pretty limited...ooh, a shiny Dilber

PS - Welcome back and all that jazz :P

2. I wrote this while on an ether binge:

A long, long time ago—figuratively speaking—in a galaxy far, far away—now I’m just being dramatic… (No idea how to use these Star Wars references appropriately…) Anyway, I’ve been appointed to doing some sort of tribute speech or some sort of history for IAA. Not entirely sure what they were expecting. I’ve been here for like a week! However, I am pretty old, and therefore my intimate knowledge of the history of Planet Bob shall serve to fill in the holes of all the stuff I’ve neglected to read/understand. And since I am old, everything must be taken as truth. This is how I remember things:

It was a dark, dark day. Darker than most dark days, but not quite that sort of post-apocalyptic darkness you get sometimes. Still pretty dark. The gods saw fit to bestow a mighty hero upon the Cyberverse; one who was capable of vanquishing the darkness and bringing forth a new age of pant-soiling excitement. Forged from the scattered bones of dragons and filled with a sweet delicious nougat-y rage, the first of the sasquatches sprung from the earth like Evel Knieval leaping over fourteen interstate buses and landing on a pile of four-year-olds. Sweet screams of victory. Thus, Kevlar was born.

Too far back.

Anyway, IAA’s birthday is the same day as my dad’s birthday, which leads me to the following philosophic realization:

Kevlar’s dad was born May 12
IAA was born May 12
Therefore IAA is Kevlar’s dad

This is indisputable by the rule of delusion that so often dominates the field of philosophy. At least, it has been a rule that I have followed for many years, or centuries. I forget. And technically, Chimaera is like IAA’s dad because he flaunts that Emperor title like his farts don’t stink or something. So Chim is like my grandpa. If I disappear shortly after this printing (yes, digital printing…whatever, stupid technology), it’s likely because I’ve violated some basic rule on addressing his Holiness. Legend has it that there are no images of Chim to be found in the entire Empire. To try to manifest his being into a physical form is considered an insult of the highest degree. However, it is my duty to the world to bring forth the ugly, ugly truths that hide behind the sick visage of rumor. After years of in-depth research, I have been able to come up with the following sketch of our great Emperor:

Sweet Val Kilmer’s ghost, I can hear them at the door! Didn’t know they delivered Chinese around here. Why is this suddenly adopting a journal entry style?

I think I was supposed to regale people with tales from the great Imperial legacies, but clearly this hasn’t worked out in the slightest. In an attempt to redeem myself, I will attempt to recall everything I have learned in my short time at IAA:

Chewbacca exists
If you need something done, make the new guy do it (curses!)
Foreplay does not exist in the mind of our fair Emperor
Hinting at the possibility of increasing Blackrose’s workload is done at one’s own peril (I didn’t mean to!)
IAA is my dad
Syndic is to blame, plain and simple
Math is gross

I have a feeling I’ve missed the whole point of this. Oh well. I’ll just try again next year.

Happy birthday dad!

Heh.

There were several in the first list that I could have voted for.

I selected Depraved because he signed the Dove Doctrine with me and later, when GATO was heading towards a bad place, he attempted to set things right. I know a little bit about that as well.

I don't think many took issue with his visions, merely his methods. His actions alone probably set back progress in those areas more than anything else ever could. Bound to fail, really, and he had to have known as much.

I don't remember much about Doom Star. I do remember him liking Evangelion, and that's about all I need to think he's a cool guy though. :v:

Also, voted Kevlar for both. :awesome:

It's true, I did. Do something!

Also, magic was one of my favorites, but I think he's getting retaliation for making the poll :P

Great job GATO, but where's my beloved Sasquatch?

I'm still on the Court, but thanks for keeping me in your thoughts :P

Congrats to everyone who participated in the elections this term!
