    Agreed. So much drama that LUE scientists even devised a way to measure it using antimatter and a Stillson wrench.


    As for the cancellation that folks are talking about, I think it was four days. Been awhile, though, so who knows :P

    I discussed the position name with Chris probably a week ago and had no idea that it was actually an acronym in use in other alliances. Then, sure enough, I see an announcement with it right in there. Was too lazy to attempt any sort of saving grace name-change on it :P

    In an odd turn of events, the throne of Ultimate power has been usurped through a series of devious and dastardly plot twists and continuity errors. It appeared that Normality had returned to thwart any attempts at excitement and fun, when suddenly a group of gratuitous !@#$%^&* stormed the throne room and killed Normality with a can of pork & beans used as a dangerous projectile. The gruesome aftermath was served with baked potatoes and a hearty helping of corn on the cob.

    The many minions and oppressed folks looked toward the band of egotistical buffoons for some sign of Hope or Direction, but naught was given. “Bring us Salvation!” they cried.

    So a sack race was held to crown the new Emperor, and these were the results:

    Wasn't happy to see me back? I've been around for awhile :P Though, I agree that Chris needs to keep that ego in check. I would, but I'm too great to be using my awesome power on such petty things.

    Pft, let's at least regale people with lots of cool stuff Kevlar did. I was AC on three occasions, all of which were productive. I single-handedly bested the supercomputer Ivan Moldavi in a chess match to bring about the end of GWIII (though only after plugging Hungchang into the database). The Queen's Gambit prevailed!

    I'm also the first AC of two important eras: the February 2007 Charter era (still in use) and the post-Viceroy era. Though, and perhaps unknown to some, I was also AC during the Viceroy era, in which I got to know some pretty cool people named Cortath and this hellraiser named bakamitai. And SDRD and Mari were there. And fun was had.

    I also invented the cotton gin. And I gave admin the idea for CN when he heard me talking in my sleep.

    Meanwhile in the lesser known [i]Sasquatchia[/i], Imperial Regent Kevlar putters around at speeds roughly in the 70s. Running entirely on Wookiee hair and half-eaten burritos, it's a miracle that it runs at all. The vessel is a retro-fitted cargo ship with a smokestack for slow-cooking ribs. It turns out the Empire has a strict policy against furry creatures ruining the fine leather seats of command ships. And the Emperor isn't a fan of shedding on his Imperial garb. Puh-leez, don't act all surprised when you keep a sasquatch on as a member of your Ruling Council. At least I'm not one of those simple-minded Wookiees. Speaking of, should probably toss another one into the BBQ pit so I can make the rendezvous with the Fleet.

    Hmm...maybe I should stop while I'm ahead...

    Congratulations to all :P And thanks to Chim for serving the Empire for so long!
