1. Whoa whoa whoa, let's get a few things straight:

First, Manis_B? He sells ringtones for free. For FREE. Worst salesman ever. And we'll never know what the B stands for. Probably Boob.

Second, my story blew your mind. I begrudgingly accept first place when in fact the contest should have been ended immediately upon its posting, the contest abolished hereafter, and a memorial established to canonize the literary brilliance of my work. Also, WINNER!

Third, if we factor in posting per capita, I think I did pretty well. I still can't figure out why my script didn't prevail over everyone else's. I used Monty Python and the Holy Grail and you're trying to tell me it wasn't good enough? Puh-leez. All of the other scripts just repeated the same lines over and over again. What a terrible movie they would've made.

    Fourth, Fifth.

Oh...and nice going on the election thingy. Was kinda silly to make me wade through all that junk to get to announcing me as the winner. Jerks :D

That's an oxymoron. No such thing as a "hot commie", maybe a "People's Hottie", but the idea of a "hot commie with which to perform actions with" is false.

    But yes, Hurrah for you.

You're welcome to oxymoron me any day of the week.

    Also, thanks to all.

    I admire Kevlar, the Sasquatch.

Edit: That actually started as a joke, but it's true. I've always thought Kevlar was among the most intelligent, driven people in CN, despite all his appearances and despite the fact that the only job I ever gave him while he was my deputy, he failed to do. Incidentally, that job probably could have turned out to be useful in the week following, when GWII broke out. Good job, Kev.

Congeratulations GARO! also put some nuclear warheads in those CMs :P
We have much more dastardly plans for those CMs. Maybe weather-controlling devices or disappointing fireworks shows to fire over enemy territory to spread disinterest and lethargy throughout the hoi polloi.

I support this spreading of fleas.

    NEWSFLASH

With the introduction of sasquatch hormones into local water supplies, growth is at an all-time high in the Grand Association. Reproductive rates have skyrocketed, leading to an excessive production of disfigured mutant babies with what scientists are referring to as “retard strength”. Locals have expressed several concerns over the boom of mutant babies and the increased virility and excessive libidos:

“MY BONER HURTS” – [s]Chris_Kaos[/s] Anonymous
“Get off my lawn, you hairy !@#$%^&*!” – Wootmeister aka ‘The Beak’
“So that’s where babies come from.” – Boyle

    SPECIAL NEWS UPDATE

In a shocking political maneuver, Secretary General Kevlar and Deputy Secretary General Chris_Kaos announced the appointment of a new administrative official within the Grand Association:

Pirate Cap’n of the Seven Cyber Seas & Secretary of Pirate Affairs … Jacksonians!

When asked for a comment, the legendary Cap’n had only a few choice words for the community: “DO WHAT YOU WANT CAUSE A PIRATE IS FREE”

  6. As someone who has worked long and hard to establish relations between NSO and GATO, this is one of the most disappointing things I have ever seen. It's even more disappointing to see it all thrown away for such a BS reason. If this is the heartless and cowardly route that GATO leadership wishes to pursue, then so be it. I hope the rest of your allies take this lesson to heart.

Think you guys need to change the motto to "Honor When Convenient".

No, they said that attacks would commence if you aided him. If you didn't aid him, RoK wouldn't have attacked. It's not that difficult to understand.
It is from a logical standpoint. Denying the antecedent isn't quite a sound argumentative strategy.

It would have been a very small effort to check the warscreen first. After all, he did log in to the game and its only the previous tab.
Then looking at the clear information every Red Flag should have gotten out, every Alarm Bell sound.

Just speaking personally, but I typically do not assume my fellow alliancemates are criminals :P Men of questionable moral fortitude, certainly, but not criminals :P

NSO could have waited until RoK provided proof before aiding the guy

    Did they lose it?

aint it the truth. you sign a treaty, which clearly defines you promise to defend your new ally and friend. then war breaks out, you never inact your treaty, you're silly if you expect someone to defend you later on . heck, why even sign the treaty if you arent going to uphold it? well, i guess if you just like signing things for the heck of it...

    Speaking of silly.
There's a reason short-and-to-the-point treaties aren't always a good idea.
Ambiguity is certainly more honorable.

I don't give two craps if NSO's allies don't join as I am not even at war here; just making the point that, in this case, the MDP/MDoAP/MADP clauses in their treaties are being rendered "optional". Play with this as you may, it matters not.
I think the point is no one gives two craps about your interpretation of other people's treaties :P That's for them to squabble over :P
