1. Heh, I'd advise you to read those war guides a buddy of mine sent during EQ... 45:5 or 47:3 is a lot better than what you guys were doing back then (5:45)... But you guys might have changed, because I sure as hell have... Nice to see a mention of you guys again, haven't seen you in forever!

 4. It isn't always easy to stand up for others in your alliance. When your nation isn't doing well, you might think, "What can I do?" when asked to help your allies. Here's a list of things you CAN do: Trade! Tech and actual trading will benefit both of your nations. Offer support! If you can't help with fighting or by sending troops, just cheer them on in the fight and make sure they know they have a friend. Referral links! Ask for someone's referral link and put it in your signature on other forums and post it on Facebook! Financial aid! Send money so that your ally can recover quickly! If they can build infrastructure back up their taxes will be enough to sustain them. Save funds, tech and soldiers! Send your allies soldiers so that they can have help in the war. Stop the problem at its source! Join in talks with the enemy alliance(s) or nation(s) to help end the war. Remember, your allies need YOU to help in the fight! *** Erifort may join in a clash between alliances soon. We will stay loyal to our alliance and fight for our future!
 5. Erifort is a growing nation that is running low on money. We are getting ready to collect taxes, and have a high infrastructure level. Our goal is to be the head of many nations in a global, realistic alliance. But, like stated before, we are low on money; down to $6,000 to be exact. We invest in lots of infrastructure, but our population is getting too high for our current military. Any action would send the nation into a slow demise. But in just minutes, we went from $299.4 dollars collected in tax, to $4876.6 per day. Financial aid and trades are welcome; we plan to produce fine jewelry while we start out to increase our economy. Our strength is 184.5, with:

149.25 (81.04%) infrastructure strength
2.50 (1.30%) Technology strength
1.28 (0.67%) Military Strength
31.50 (16.40%) Land Strength
But we could be so much more! Currently we have:

0.50 Technology Levels
20.00% Literacy Rate
18% Tax Rate
22.41 population per mi.
64 Soldiers
418 Working Citizens
482 Total Citizens
Want to invest in Erifort? Technology or money is welcome; troops are fine, but not critical to Erifort. The alliance works much like a real government; laws, salaries (to individual nations), possibly taxes. You will be paid money for a profession like, perhaps, an Alliance news-writer or blogger. No one will be left out, as long as they choose a profession. The professions are needed to make sure people don't join just for benefits; our goal is not to be a big alliance who gives away money. We want to be an alliance that has their own stable economy, with salaries, taxes and other items of economical importance. It is not our goal, either, to attack nations and alliances smaller than us; we all started out at the bottom; now look at where we are now! 6.
Do you have a flag a seal? a charter anything? Diplomatic entry... My new alliance atleast has a website, flag minister of defense and internal affairs, still recruiting Say if this doesnt catch off maybe you can get a cozy position with me, right now i have a designer remaking our forum
Shameless plug much? Anyways, I have no idea what a charter is. But my other two cities expired from time, so... I used to have several tanks and lots of soldiers and improvements.
 7. Oh, my. This alliance has been forgotten...
 8. I mean a truce between alliances.
 9.
Sounds like somebody can't handle criticism well. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.
Seems like you're having memory problems. Try re-reading the post again.
 10.
I personally like destroying my enemies nations, ask anyone:) Now to your ideas.... TE is as much a political game as it is a war game. That said, just as individuals in RL, each AA has its own views and agendas, likes/dislikes, enemies/friends. Just as in RL it is too hard to get all of the AAs to put aside their differences in order to organize some great war. Your outside the box thinking has heuristic value. Although I may not agree with your ideas I do accept your right to post them.
You still don't understand. YOU CHOOSE WHO YOU TEAM UP WITH. A large group of small alliances can defeat a small group of large alliances. It just depends on who you choose to work with.
 11.
You make no sense, TE is about fighting, if you don't want to get attacked, either join an alliance or a better one) or don't play TE at all, then you won't have to worry.
The whole 'Great Divide' war thingy is ABOUT FIGHTING. It creates a war but stops smaller nations in an alliance from being crushed.
 12. FOUR WORDS: SHUT THE HELL UP. If you don't want to, don't be in the war. I'm starting to doubt the intelligence of the people on the forums. Plus, if you read the whole post, I covered that.
 13. Of course not! I would never force someone to fight for me. Your alliance creates a truce with an alliance by choice, not by force. Did you even read the whole thing?
 14. At least I could come up with this. A nine year old could write this while everyone older than him whines about how stupid his ideas are while they lounge around casually destroying nations. Maybe I haven't been playing as long as you, but I have more reasoning and less... Stupidity. Anyone else?
 15. I have proposed a war idea called the Great Divide. Alliances will team up, and fight together. You are able to have a truce with anyone, but it is strongly encouraged to be out of team since we want to improve relations with other teams. During the war we want to encourage inter-team alliances and truces so that we don't have a full-fledged team war. I am attacked at least once a week either verbally or to my nation about my ideas, but they are set in stone. I have been attacked twice in two days and am now in the $2,600,000 range. I just re-purchased more than my original infrastructure before the battles, but land is the least of my worries. If I cannot defend against simple soldiers, then how can I defend against tanks and cruise missiles? Anti-air defense with an enormous price? No! We have to work together. Stand together, Red Team. We will win.
 16. My reasoning behind the Great Divide is that when a nation that's small is in war, it is likely to get destroyed. With the great war coming after Christmas, it will most likely be attacked by many nations. Not having so many soldiers, tanks, or anything much, it is next to defenseless during the attack. Finally, the nation is destroyed. Then the attacking nations turn on each other, until the last two destroy each other. We must stop this, because it can happen, even to someone with 35 tanks! (me) This won't just happen to one nation. It will be happening to almost every nation. Now, this is why it would work. The alliance has to propose a truce with another alliance. (Let's say the first alliance who wants to have a truce is called Divide Alliance, and the second alliance is called Destruction Alliance. Destruction Alliance can choose two options. Yes, in which they cannot attack each other, and no, when the first alliance is allowed to attack. The best strategy? Attack the leader with your whole alliance. Unless he has piles of nukes, he won't be able to attack. The war would work by alliances planning a war. Not a spontaneous attack coming out of nowhere. They would be allowed a set amount of time that they agreed on to ready their troops and prepare for war. Then, the one who suggested the war will have a set amount of time to attack, and after a portion of that time is up and they haven't attacked, the other nation can attack instead. This is why I proposed the Great Divide. Once this is over, the remaining alliances will be in peace. During the war, old grudges will be remembered and you can finally use that nuclear war tactics book your great grandfather had from WW2. But once it is over, grudges will be washed away, and the world will be together until the end of the tournament. Sure, there will be fights and raids after the war, but not as many, since the alliance truces will be held.
 17. I have just been attacked and looted twice in 2 days. I know, 'bad luck', but... The Great Divide must happen soon or else small nations will be crushed and then large nations and then the remainder of the nations will destroy themselves. I would like to propose a truce with the alliance that comes to me first.
 18.
After vigorous debate within government, TPC could sign onto such an agreement. Agreed. The fact of the matter is that almost everyone is celebrating something over this period, and in a 90 day round, a couple of days where you don't need to monitor the war screens 30 minutes before update isn't a big deal. While I understand the concerns of other leaders when it comes to involving themselves another TE agreement, I think overall this is for the benefit of members. I completely agree with this and want to see it happen. A good massive war where everyone crushes each other without politics would be good for everyone.
HYPOCRITE! See? I came up with the same idea in the poll and he voted against it! So, the real problem with both our ideas is that they are conflicting. I propose before and after the ceasefire there will be a war, but there WILL be a small break. Let me sign up, regardless of what I said before Holidays - =Awesome! New Years + =Fireworks!
 19.
Thank you all for your support thus far. With the round being 90 days a short period of peace won't hurt a thing.
60 days, where'd you get 90 from?
 20. Not everyone has to agree. The participating sides can attack anyone not participating.
 21. Well, list me five good reasons and I'll consider removing it.
 22. As of 12/7/11, I, creator of Fire Technical and Research Alliance, I propose that the world will be divided and both sides will attack. Alliances of alliances will be formed, strong with weak, large with small. Once one side wins, they will divide, and so on until they win. The one, single winner can give his alliance a total victory, or he can claim the victory as his. Sides must be formed and the world shall divide. I am sorry, but the tournament depends on this. Thank you, ScratchyScientist.
 23.
Phenom Penh "Sir all our nukes are about to blow!" (LOL. I meant you had fired them at the zombies.) "We have nukes?" "Apparently!" "Launch them at EVERYONE!" "YES SIR!"
"We are being attacked!" I yell to the remaining people. "Get into the bunkers immediately! If you get in the bunkers then the zombies outside will die and you won't!" "There is a problem with that, sir..." "WHAT?" I yell and throw my nameplate across the room. "The bunkers are filled. They're being used as our quarantines." he replies. "Oh, right. Find somewhere else for them!" I scream. "THE ZOMBIES ARE RIGHT OUTSIDE! SCHEDULE A FLIGHT FOR THE UNINFECTED HUMANS OUT OF THE NATION!" I begin to gaze at my computer. "All my years of training are just... Nothing could prepare me for this." I say, with a sad tone in my voice. "I know. It's her you're worried about." "She can defend herself. It's just... I can't bear leaving Amber." "I'm sorry, sir."
 24. Your nation has been prospering well in the last few months. It has been slowly stockpiling weapons, resources and cash in case of the inevitable. Rumors had been spreading from many well-known alliance that a nation had so much radiation that the people began mutating. The nation has been located. There's one in Asia, and another in the NW Passage. 3 more in South America. Nine and rising in Antarctica. Your advisors have been suggesting you start to quarantine, but it is too late. The mutation has spread, and before you knew it, your financial advisor tried to knock your head off. The Secret Service was near enough to destroy him, but you had no choice but to evacuate and quarantine most cities. Your capitol has been abandoned by many, but you have not left. No one cares about human wars any more. The world is one alliance. The alliance of Panem.
