Of course I needed to throw a farewell and so long to the alliance I put so much effort into creating and maintaining. If anyone feels as so compelled as I to be provided the opportunity to drive the final nail into the coffin then let them speak. So what you are saying is that it was right for VA to not honor treaties because DB4D didn't want them to. Got it... All is understood now, and I believe my point has been enforced. I guess you're just crazy...

Praise the Lord, VA can finally be put to rest. This alliance has long since been dead and has been just dragged through the mud for the longest time. This at one point used to be a relatively grand alliance, particularly relating back to the days around SSSW18 and DefCon. VA was at the very least a force to be recognized. It began to dwindle and die then. How long ago was that? A long effing time ago. It has since continued to dwindle and good quality gov just couldn't be found. The alliance made do with what it had and it continued to dwindle. Finally the fallout began and that was when the alliance should have been dismantled. It wasn't... I even stuck around hoping it could be saved and brought back. I knew it was a dim shot in hell but after all my time invested it was worth it to me. In the end I through in the towel as well. I had no choice. VA was dead to me as well as to anyone that actually knew what VA truly really was at its prime. Interestingly enough, upon my resignation I made a prediction. I don't recall exactly what all was in it, but I do know that I stated outright that TPF would cancel it's treaty with VA (happened not all that long ago) and VA would merge with DB4D. Am I good? No... I'm just not blind. The individuals leading VA were too concerned what DB4D gov had to say rather than digging deep to find their own balls to make their own decisions on what they should do when it comes to honoring treaties and such and in turn allowed DB4D to dictate how the VA gov should run the alliance. Have you ever let a smaller, less significant dictate how to run your alliance? Well this is the way the VA gov wanted to do it. If you didn't before, do you now understand why they merged? Honestly I am shocked that NEW agreed to a treaty with them. VA only had one alliance left to turn to and that was DB4D. They must have been desperate since it appears that they are letting mankiller run the show over there. That might be the worst decision yet...and reading through this post alone I have made reference to just a few. To sum all this up: - VA has been dead for a long time, glad to finally see it's name no longer disgraced. - NEW, not to tell you how to run your show since I do respect your alliance and your members, but I would reconsider the treaty. - To the new "DB4D" I guess we'll be seeing a merger or dismemberment announcement from you in the not so distant future. o/ those who remember the true VA

I share many of the same comments as Conner on this one... As a founding member of VA it stinks to know it had to come to this; however, for many reasons which aren't worth mulling over here I am not surprised by this announcement one bit.

lets see here... blah blah blah pronunciation, and referencing blah blah blah at least you made a solid effort and put some time into creating a different DoW. Can't scoff at that too much. The second half was good though. Good clip editing. If you put the time into it I would much rather watch a video for a unique DoW rather than reading the bit of text that someone took 30 seconds to slam together real quick.

I guess since apparently Conner's bluff was called... I will be marching my monkeys to the front line... anyone that comes within range will be fully coated in fresh poo... thats right, I have a whole army of poo flinging monkeys. Eh, better late than never at all right? Conner and Erik were correct, for the most part. I have been away for the past week getting in a little R&R. Sadly the boat died, luckily it got us back to the dock before it decided to do so. I pretty much spent the week fishing, or sitting on the beach in pretty much a constant state of "buzzed." I either had a bottle of beer in my hand, or was making my way for another one. All in all it was a good break but sadly I had to return to reality, and after a 10 hour car ride I'm back. Any unfinished business feel free to stop by the VA channel, and hopefully I'll be here for you to bother. Oh and of course, thanks to everyone else for all the well wishes and lovin on our latest announcement.

Official Announcement from Veritas Aequitas In this game, every alliance needs to be able to count on their allies to come to their defense. When the time comes for everyone to show their hand, you can only hope that you will be coming out on top. By now, everyone is aware of the Pacifica situation and everyone has some opinion of what happened and how it happened. Personally, it doesn’t matter to me. Our ally, SSSW18, has since declared war in defense of NPO as they are sworn allies. With that being said, Veritas Aequitas is obligated, through Article II of the It's About Damn Time treaty, to come to their aid. right on MA... I have heard that the brain is a delicacy few have the opportunity to try... aren't you guys (and gals) lucky...

this is so incredibly disheartening. This is one of those alliances that you thought would succeed. Then to hear something like this your response can only be one of two things... "What!?" and "wow..." I think when I was first informed of this I said both of these many times, and still do. It's amazing to see an alliance appear to be pretty well off one minute and merging the next. On behalf of Veritas Aequitas, Defcon will be missed...We even had a threesome...and you just get up and leave. I kinda feel used now.
