  1. This is like "we're making a move that's really ballsy but totally justified" then "haha psych we're doing the opposite of that." :(
  2. Do I know your friend who? At a club? Who was there? Girl, I wouldn't Wait a minute, calm down, I was at a club with who? Get tha fuck, man, you know what?
  3. I wish BONES had posted in here so he could've been assigned Virgil.
  4. Well here's me in RL so I'm curious how my cn persona comes across: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DNwx_VbVcCc In all seriousness though I have a SICK Hulk Hogan costume that I've worn the last few times I've gone out for Halloween that makes grown men act like theyre 8 and just saw Spider-Man at the mall or something.
  5. I'm not in the loop and I try not to make assumptions. Besides, "the other side" could be plenty of alliances besides DBDC. So you can go ahead and drop the hysterics.
  6. The second quote is probably why you're confused in the first. If you feel like taking a look at our cancellation thread, you'll see that I was nothing but well-wishes and sorry to see you go over the fact that you didn't want to be allied any longer. Obviously your recent moves don't just put that in a different light, but suggest that your alliance's (lack of) character was a poor fit for XX all along. Some of us still have a degree of ethical reasoning left, and can tell who the bad guys are and who is at least interested in striving to be the good guys. The fact that you can't tell the difference or, worse yet, don't even care to notice, is not something to brag about. And absolutely no one here - your new buddies included - are impressed with an alliance that has to hit a neutral under a false flag just to prove itself useful to the AA that was happy to bully it for the past year plus. You've earned a special level of contempt that's reserved for the bootlickers of the Cancer of the Cyberverse.
  7. Look at that - allied for one day and you're already pulling out the "do something about it." I hate it when people refer to comments as "cute," but I genuinely think it fits here. DBDC must be beaming like proud papas right now.
  8. Would've been better off disbanding, Sparta.
  9. On the contrary, I'm really enjoying watching NPO, IRON, Umb, and DBDC maneuver around each other. I think if either NPO or IRON could get Umb with you, you'd pose a serious threat to DBDC. GPA might go down swinging, but it will be by themselves now, and alone they really aren't enough. Maybe they can weaken DBDC enough that NPO+IRON would be a sufficient counter. I'm just enjoying discussing the challenge OOC here. Anyone who doesn't get or doesn't mind what DBDC stands for at this point isn't going to be swayed by me jumping and waving my arms.
  10. I don't read the OP as a plea for help, just a (mostly/until now) uninvolved third party wondering why the rest of us let the game get to this point. In that regard, I think it's fair to point to the temptation of appeasement, even if the real life historical examples are a bit dramatic. Regardless of what sort of imbalance of NS was held by the hegemonies of the past, I don't think we've ever seen seen a logistical challenge like the one posed by DBDC. It's not just a matter of swaying enough NS to take them out. You specifically need enough nations in an extremely narrow band of NS at the top in order to even challenge them. And while you're gathering that together, they can knock what nations you do have out of range, and then safely reload, without worrying about counters. That's totally different from the wars of attrition that get fought around here. Not to mention with the increase in tech aid slots and uncapping land, there are now NS disparities like we've never seen before. Someone mentioned how Umbrella's upper tier pre-EQ was similar, but this really only proves the point. EQ failed to drag them all down - not for a lack of total NS on the NPO/AI/IRON side, but due to the imbalance in the upper tier - and now the remnants are nearly untouchable. I don't think DBDC would even exist if the NPO/AI/IRON side had about 20 more 150k NS nations during EQ.
  11. NPO still researching the eternal question: how many alliances from a bloc can you treaty without joining the bloc?
  12. Good luck, Val. No hard feelings here but it looks like you've generated some ill will out there :/
  13. That would be great actually :awesome: My apologies if you were actually physically unable to intervene.
  14. Did just fine fighting one round of war then sitting back and watching Cuba get staggered for two months?
  15. This is sad. Openly switching sides after a losing war is never a good look. But your "friends" have you fighting a false flag operation for them without so much as a treaty between the two of you, while the most their actual allies do is make thinly veiled threats and then deny it on OWF? And then you come right out and publicly admit that the AA Sparta is in full support of the AA Blood Pack - ruining the entire point of jumping AA's? You look like a bunch of muppets here. I was disappointed over our treaty cancellation, but if this is the level of cluelessness that's been going on behind closed doors, I totally get it now. Just don't kid yourself that you were burning "for" us all these years, and not because you sought out the mutual defense of XX and were are just as hated by the other side as the rest of us.
  16. Still no explanation for why all these Sparta dudes are running off to fight for DBDC. Is this representative of the remainder of your alliance?
  17. Oh I noticed. But ghosts can be kicked off the AA now, right? I guess the point is that either his (pending) status on ODN's AA is meaningless until he's actually accepted - in which case the continued declarations aren't provocative at all. Or his continued allowance on the AA as a pending member implies that ODN would like to accept someone who acts like this and is willing to go to bat to get him peace - which is provocative to WTF. But there's really no sense here in which WTF was the instigator with ODN.
  18. Letting someone who's raiding WTF on one's AA does seem provocative, but not in the way I think you're getting at.
  19. If you're looking for a clever way of calling people retarded, you should at least get the cut-off score right.
  20. You're going to have to be more specific than "No U." If you're talking about Mogar, his aid was clearly as much an act of war as all the tech deals DBDC has going on during their repeated outbursts of unprovoked violence. But considering the sheer scope and viciousness of DBDC's behavior, there is a degree of rooting for the lesser of two evils at times. That doesn't mean I think Mogar was in the right or CT is a saint or whatever else you might be horribly confused about to make that statement.
  21. Sending millions in warchest cash or directly enhancing military capability (tech) = not war Sending $60k worth of soldiers = WAR What I don't understand is why they even bother to argue these points, knowing that concepts like fairness and justice are irrelevant to them. Let's just skip straight to the "do something about it" part next time.
  22. Just be careful not to acquire too much of a hegemony or you'll run out of people to oppress.
