2.
Fredimedes gets hit with a rock and dies from dysentery.
This reminded me of Oregon Trail. Come to think of it, a choose your own adventure style game that doesn't result in some horrific disease befalling the protagonist would be kind of a let down.
 3.
Crown Prince has been in place ever since Archon went inactive (which was a long time ago). Essentially the command structure of MK went from King/Prince being #1/#2, to Crown Prince/Prince being #1/#2. One day I might actually update the mandate, but I have more important things to do these days
Ah, I see. Thanks!
 4. I read the MK Mandate, but this seems to be a new position, given that there is normally only one Prince. I am genuinely interested in alliance government structures, so may I ask what this position is and how it came about? If you'd rather answer on IRC, I can do that too (my nick is HMSolomonI[NATO]).
 5. Wait, so actually you're not really quitting. Thanks for the grand entertainment over the last couple months, it's been a laugh reading your utterly ridiculous topics.
 6.
Oh to be young and in range of these people
I second that emotion.
 7.
No reason. I have a military of 17 nations. I will do as i wish.
Well, first of all, you have 16 nations. Second of all, your alliance has zero wonders, no nukes, and an average nation strength of 1,735 (and three of your nations are in peace mode, so you actually only have 13 nations that can engage targets). Your alliance is so small, it isn't even ranked, so I wouldn't go around boasting of your power (since it doesn't exist).
 8.
wont you be trying for an FA Post solomon? If i am not mistaken, you were the CoD of TFD.
No, I was a Magistrate (Judge) in TFD. I've been the Secretary of Enlistment and Secretary of Commerce for NATO. Right now, I'm a Councilor Emeritus (former member of the NATO Council) and 2nd Battalion Commander. Maybe someday I'll consider running for Secretary of Foreign Affairs, but for now, I'm perfectly content to let the very capable Sultan Ahmed and Sir Humphrey handle NATO's FA. o/ NATO o/ Letting FA Be Someone Else's Problem
 9. This is a DoE for a one man AA. I'll second Lord Boris in saying this will probably be disastrous.
 10. A Declaration of Existence (or DoE) is a post made in the Alliance Announcements forum by a newly created alliance that has the effect of formally announcing the creation of said alliance to the world at large. Normally included in a DoE are an alliance Charter (which is basically the constitution of the alliance), a list of founding members and government officials, the alliance's public IRC channel, the alliance's forums, and the protector of the alliance (which is a larger alliance with whom the newly-created, smaller alliance signs a Protectorate Treaty).
 11. By the looks of things around here, that may be happening sooner rather than later.
 12. o/ TIO o/ NATO o/ Allies o/ CN Wiki o/ Other things that I happen to like
For some reason I thought this treaty already existed.
That's because TIO and NATO were made for each other ... it was meant to be.
 13. Thank you for my daily entertainment. Also, I found this snippet from DICK's wiki page particularly hilarious:
DICK is open to tech deals of all kind. They are also open to trade with fellow Blue Team Information Panel nations.
(emphasis mine) Who are these "Blue Team Information Panel nations" you speak of?
 14.
MK for best alliance 2013!
MK for best alliance 2025?
 15.
As evident by the post above mine I would say that CN isn't dying at all. It's simply consolidating itself into a small core of players who will remain until the day admin disables the servers. What this means is our politics will become more streamlined and barring any major fallout in current power-circles we'll have a less dynamic political movement. In the past there were a variety of different groups vying for different aims with opposing ideals but over the span of time these groups have more or less merged into one another to create more united groups. This same principle is supported by the evidence of various alliances merging themselves to form newer larger groups; the latest example being Anarchy Inc. But overall this process or "dying" as it's been called has been happening for years now. At this point the vast majority of casual players have departed leaving only a core of hardcore players to remain. So I wouldn't worry about the game shrinking drastically or dying anytime soon.
^ this When CN had 30,000-40,000+ players, most of those players had jumped on the bandwagon, they weren't ever going to be permanent fixtures in the Cyberverse. This shrinkage will eventually bottom out because there will always be players who stick around for as long as admin permits; there will always be the hard core members. I for one plan to stay around for as long as possible.

DRAGON requested that it be annexed by TFD several weeks ago after being a protectorate of TFD and then a partner in defense for several years. As per the terms of the annexation, all of DRAGON's treaties are null and void, TFD will protect the DRAGON AA for 30 days (this provision will expire on 28 January 2012), and the former DRAGON members shall retain property of the name and imagery of DRAGON. For TFD: HM Solomon I Ambassador to the Down Right Awesome Group of Nations from The Foreign Division
 17. While maybe a ZI could be construed by some as going a bit too far, Nordreich as a sovereign alliance has full authority to deal out punishment to members who break the rules that they agree to when they join the alliance. If he was given a fair trial and put on probation, then violated further rules, Nordreich can punish him as they see fit. It is their prerogative, as a sovereign alliance. While it may be tempting to intervene if one does not agree with the decision of the Nordreich Government, it would set a bad precedent in that interfering with other alliances internal affairs would effectively make it OK (precedent wise, at least) to attack or otherwise cause conflict with other alliances in response to perceived shortcomings in their internal policies and decisions. While one may not agree with Nordreich's decision, it is better to let it go than to continue conflict. They made the decision already, it would seem as if there was just cause for it, so it is settled, or at least it should be. The only decisions by alliances that should be allowed to be contested by other alliances is when there is clearly an impact of the decision that goes beyond the bounds of the alliance itself. This is an internal matter, it should stay that way. They, as a sovereign alliance, have every right to make decisions that reflect internal matters. This does not mean that all these decisions will be right and just, but it does mean that they have the right to make them. I think we should respect this right. This does not mean I am endorsing their decision, it just means that I don't think that the issue should go beyond Nordreich as it does seem to be a clear internal matter that should be dealt with internally, without intervention by external parties. Whether the decision was right or wrong, they made it, and I think that we should respect their decision.
