I'm a little on the fence on how to feel about all of this. On the one hand I love a good joke and it's always fun to see the CN rumor mill in full action. On the other hand an alliance not in on the joke got played and even hurt (financially) by all of this and I don't really approve of that. A good joke doesn't go at the expense of others. This would've worked out better if Valhalla was in on all of this and the OWF crowd would've been the only one fooled.

I think some people are being a bit overly harsh here about the fact that they raided the NAAC AA. I don't think it is a stretch to say that NEW most likely wasn't aware of the history and protected status of this AA. Hell, I've been around for 3 years now and even I didn't get to see NAAC in action. I don't support their handling of the rest of the situation however. Sensible thing to do now would be to just accept the fact that you made a mistake and try to reach a peaceful solution.

In those three long years I have seen a fair share of idiots running the alliance. Tromp just finished his second horrible run, MikeTheIdiot has already won three elections and for some reason even ikMark was president at one point. I mean come on, ikMark... I could no longer take seeing these people running my awesome alliance into the ground, so I figured it was time to step up. However, since I have done absolutely nothing useful for my alliance in the past 3 years it was unlikely that I would win any election. So I bribed Kaduuk - the most prominent member of the election committee - and he handed me the victory. Finally someone with an IQ higher than that of a brick was [b]President of FOK[/b] and it was time to turn things around! Generally after the elections the FOK Presidents appoint their new ministers. I felt however that I didn't need anyone telling me what to do and decided to run the alliance by myself. Under my iron rule FOK would enter a new prosperous era of unprecedented growth, or something like that. So I deleted the Charter, banned a few members from Internal Restroom Communication (IRC) and censored any opposition. All seemed well. That was, until I heard reports of someone named 'sibren_tankbuster[FOK]afk' leading a popular revolt against my rule. At first I was not worried, since this sibren is known to fail at pretty much everything he does, but when CheeKy and even ArneS joined in I got worried. They all started to make fun of me, using the words I censored and changing the IRC topic all the time, despite me kicking them continously. My great reputation and my glorious empire were slowly being destroyed. Finally - after an epic struggle of 5 days - I could not take it any longer and gave in. As this war has been raging on for nearly a month now (or even longer, depending on the interpretation of events) and most fronts are winding down, I think it's high time to evaluate which alliances left a distinct mark on this conflict. So : [b]Militarily speaking, which alliances impressed you the most throughout this conflict ?[/b] Your picks can be friend or foe and are not limited to alliances you or your alliance fought. [u]My personal two picks would be[/u] : [b]PC[/b]. They took a lot of damage in the war against Polar whilst defending \m/, yet still managed to declare on numerous other alliances later on in the (other) war. [b]TPF[/b]. I didn't even think they would be capable of warfare after the beating they took in 'Blue Balls War', yet they still put on a very impressive display in this one.

I can understand TOP members being both upset and disappointed by this. FOK members themselves have felt both emotions when faced with this decision. But saying FOK is betraying you guys or being dishonorable is totally unfair. We never wanted this war nor do we enjoy declaring on TOP, but in the end we had to do what we were obligated to do and that was defending an MDP partner that was attacked. Anyone who knows FOK knows we would not have done this if it wasn't necessary. (And yes, you TOP members have every right to be proud of the fact that it takes this many alliances to take you down )
