Okay, I hate to disagree with admin, but here are the formulas that I have found to be consistent with attacking strength (given both pentagon and weapons research complex wonders): daytime: (2*(sold eff)*1.01 + 25*(tanks))*(1.2 + .0002*(tech)) nighttime: (2*(sold eff)*1.01 + 25*(tanks))*(1.2 + .0002*(tech)*1.05) As you can see, the 1% bonus appears in both formulas. Defending strength formulas have the same issue.
  2. Based on my calculations, the 1% efficiency bonus is being applied all the time, not just during the day.

  4. After dismissing the maximum number of soldiers without anarchy, I went to my deployment screen to deploy my tanks home. I specified a deployment of 0 soldiers and 0 tanks, and got a message saying that if I did this it would put my nation into anarchy - the max deployment was negative 1000 or so.

  12. The solution to tech trading is quite simple: for 3M/50 trades, send 3 consecutive payments while on the bill-paying resources, then have 3 consecutive tech packages delivered while on the tax-collecting resources.

I noticed on my "Edit Nation" page that there wasn't any "You must pay bills before changing resources" or "You must collect taxes before changing resources", which I assume to mean that one can change resources without having done either. In that case, it seems like a group of nations could get together and form a cycling trade circle, where every 30 days all of them change resources. There could be a bill-paying set and a tax-collecting set, and in every 60 day cycle they would only have to collect 10 days of taxes while on the bill-paying set, and never have to pay bills while on the tax-collecting set. Is there any reason why this wouldn't work?
