  1. Let's Go Clubbing: Treaty Edition Article I: Different Dance Moves Atlas and TSC are separate entities. Each are entitled to dance in any way they choose, even of their moves on the floor don't match up exactly. Article II: Say What?!? If one of us hears a good song, we'll share it so we can both develop a routine for it. Article III: Pump Up The Volume! If Atlas or TSC is attacked, they can request to bring their dance partner in for a tag-team dance off. If their partner is busy getting drinks or involved in a dance off of their own, they may choose to take care of their business instead. Article IV: Steppin' If one dance partner wishes to initiate a dance off, the other partner has the option of making it a tag-team dance off, because that's just more fun! Article V: Party's Over If the dance partners feel that their rhythm just isn't right, they must give each other 72 hours of notice before going off to find different clubs to dance in. 2. This thread has already gone away from "50 Shades of (Semi) Gay: Partisan and the PigSword" and it's a damn shame. I was rather enjoying the exchange... Also, PorkSaber, I don't really know you, but apparently I've been eating chunks of your butt since I was a kid... Makes a lovely roast :v Also mildly upset about a lack of the phrase "to the hilt" combined with "PigSword" in the same sentence :p
  3. I don't like this. Now every time I log into my nation, I see that I'm on brown and have to flush my computer... CN is getting expensive! :(
  4. So, a couple things from the OP that need to be corrected. Animalz didn't attack TSO without provocation. XP Mai raided Animalz, and they retaliated. Should there have been an attempt at diplomacy first? Yeah, but too late. Either way, the two are working out peace between them now. As far as Atlas having issues with "terroristic attacks" by Animalz, well.... Just look at Atlas' war screen and you can see that this isn't true. I'm fine with all the nonsense that gets posted, but at least do a bit of fact checking first! It's not as entertaining if it's not true :(
  5. Now, I'm not going to bother to follow this and turn it into an argument (can't be bothered, honestly), but a couple of things stuck out to me. 1. The general consensus is that this is white peace. That, in the eyes of pretty much everyone, does not make it a victory. Victory is when the other guy surrenders, nothing less. If I agree to white peace, and the other guy says he won, I'm going to go back to fighting because, apparently, we haven't reached a real resolution. So on that count, I'd agree with Methrage. 2. Since Methrage has been going on the whole "Brown Unity" binge, I think his mention of a lack of raiding on brown actually makes sense. It's not exactly unity if we're all attacking each other. Just a thought. Those are just a couple thoughts on this - I don't care what the outcome is, as TSC isn't involved, but just maybe an outsider's perspective would stop the repetitive arguing. My good deed for the day, so to speak. Edit: Totally didn't realize this topic was as old as it is. Sorry folks, my mistake :/
  6. I laughed at that more than I should probably admit  Congrats to both sides, I see some names that I like!
  7. Thanks man, right back atcha! I personally really enjoyed my wars :P
  8. So, no need to make a big elaborate announcement. The Sandstorm Confederacy declared war on Monsters, Inc. because they attacked our ally. Nukes were tossed, some good conversation was had, and that's pretty much that. TSO and Monsters, Inc. have agreed to peace, and so we no longer see a need to fight MI. Therefore, TSC recognizes a state of peace with MI, and will peace out the one remaining war between us. I'll get around to changing it at some point. Maybe.
  9. Minimac's afk for a bit due to that pesky RL. But yeah, I'd just like to point out that we'd rather not see this escalate either. TSO had every right to have us help in this case, and TSC doesn't bear any ill will to anyone involved. Also, shoutouts to President Hardin for providing enjoyable conversation throughout our war so far. It's nice to find someone who, like me, doesn't take their wars too seriously and can just kick back and enjoy the fireworks :P
  10. Sorry man, I'm doing my best lol Let it also be noted that when peace comes between TSC and MI, it will be white peace. We will neither offer nor accept reps to or from anybody.
  11. This flag is small; its meaning is not. You see, this is not the standard flag of TSC, but the war flag. After a convoluted series of events led to Monsters, Inc. attacking The Sovereign Order on a scale that made it an undeclared war, TSO leadership came to us. Why? Because we have an MDoAP with them that we never really bothered to put up on the OWF. In part, because laziness, in part because secret treaties are fun (hint: it's not actually a secret if you read their alliance description). Either way, that treaty's activated, so: The Sandstorm Confederacy hereby declares an official state of war on Monsters, Inc. in defense of The Sovereign Order. You won't find any hard feelings from us, that's not our thing. Best of luck to MI, TSO, and ourselves, and we hope everyone enjoys tossing a few nukes around. Onward to new casualties! 12. Sad to see it happen, but I wish you nothing but the best wherever you end up. Keep in touch, and if you guys ever need anything, just shoot us a message :) o/ DOD o/ Funnest War Ever o/ Hormones for taking away like 1/4 my NS in a week by himself lol
  13. Apparently not what with the gay hugs and all :P
  14. Congrats to all the TOS folks on this. We're glad to be able to help y'all out :)
  15. While I might would have gone about this in a different way myself, I do think this topic is being put to people's personal uses more than it ever should. Basically, it's like this: DT, UMB, and AB attacked Avalanche without a DoW. Fine, that seems to be the thing to do nowadays, and besides, collecting bills forever gets boring. Avalanche folks seem to be taking it with a smile and a bit of enthusiasm from what I'm able to tell, and good for them. And I do understand how Avalanche feels, to a degree - TSC got declared on without DoWs, probably just for being allied to SNX, since we were intending to enter the war anyway and NPO had said from the start that the incident with the raid was all fine and dandy. But the thing is, we all wanted some casualties, so while some would argue that "oh, hey, you guys are just jumping on an easy target" (and really, we were an easy target, with only 2 ODAPs at the time), we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Yeah, recovering's going to take a while, but it's whatever. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the alliances who are actually involved (the only ones who's opinions are relevant) will likely enjoy themselves while the rest of CN whines and argues semantics. Seriously, let them do their thing and stop crying about it. And it's not as if Avalanche is full of noobs, they're plenty capable of putting up a good fight and walking away from it when the time comes. We didn't complain and we ended up coming out better than we were before, and with a lot of new friends. Avalanche isn't complaining either, so let them do the same and keep all your personal drama/debates to yourself. We didn't want to hear it, even when it was in our defense, and I'd bet they don't either.
  16. Nice to see you guys finally getting a war lol... Have fun :)
  17. I'm going to have to disagree - I've always seen war as away to blow up some pixels, up your casualty count, and get to know people, regardless of whether you win or lose. Honestly, the war benefited us in more ways than I expected, I'm glad it happened.
  18. Just want to say thanks to all involved for a good time and helping all of us at TSC meet (and exceed!) our casualty goals :D Special shoutout to JBibbs of Sengoku, as well as Vandal and Hormones74 of DoD for taking out over half my NS in the space of a week - it was a wild ride down! That said, I wonder how much it costs to get to about 10k infra and still help with recovery aid (I doubt I'll make it back up to 12k, but that's for the best since I'm also down about 3500 tech)... Only one way to find out! :D Seriously though, we appreciate you guys being cool about it. That seems to be a rare quality anymore. o/ Sengoku o/ DOD o/ Umbrella o/ NPO o/ TSC o/ Casualties o/ Excessive hails in forum posts
  19. Don't forget Disciples of Destruction DoW on TSC on the 16th :)
  20. This. Also my bad, was elsewhere in my mind when I called you Polar. To clarify something else, I'm in no way mad, unless it's about not having full war slots ;)
  21. I love you <3 Funny thing was, we were never going to declare on Polar to begin with. We were gonna hit Doom Squad and talk their allies into playing with us in DestructoPixel. Let's be honest, there are two parts to this. First, we (TSC) wanted to up our casualties and so that's all fine and dandy. On the other hand, NPO knows this is overkill and that we wereat a disadvantage without them getting involved. My personal thoughts: if Umbrella and Sengoku (and let's not forget DoD!) legitimately need help with a 28-man AA, you should get better allies. I love the Sengoku guys I've warred with so far, and I'm relatively confident that they don't need you to fight in a war when we were dogpiled from the beginning. So basically, either you need a whole new war staff (seriously, your allies got involved before you, the original party), or you see an easy target(SNX is tied up, and asking AGW to come in would be asking them to commit suicide, and I'm not down with that). Or we're putting up an even better fight than I realized, in which case I'll give myself a good pat on the back. Regardless, I'm disappointed with you guys. Seriously, if you're going to dogpile onto us in keeping with the current fashion, at least give everyone a war or two. I've got 2 defensive slots open for you, come and get 'em. Edit: I just checked to see why I hadn't realized you considered yourselves at war with us, and I discovered that literally one of your guys hit one of ours. I almost fell out of my chair laughing! Since we told our guy that raided you in the first place not to keep attacking you, maybe we can let that one war expire and call it even, eh?
  22. I'm with Walsh on the whole coalition thing... For example, I certainly wouldn't say The Sandstorm Confederacy's part of a coalition. In a way, it's arguable, but when you look at none of the DoW's against us being countered (though SNX was already getting dogpiled worse than us, and I think they were warring with Umbrella anyway), some of the alliances seem to be more of a side war almost. Anyways, nice DoW, I enjoyed it :)
