1. I remember your name. Good luck out there and peruse the OWF in the future.
2. Give members of sanctioned alliances trade bonuses for trading with members of their own sanctioned alliance. Create Alliance Wonders. Only 12 should suffice. Someone smarter can create a formulae for this. Alliance Wonders are unique in that when one is built it cannot be built by any other alliance. Alliance Wonders expire. The benefit of having a particular Alliance Wonder is that its effects are only given to members of the particular alliance which constructs it. For example, a Missile Defense Shield Alliance Wonder would give all the members of an alliance the benefit of the SDI National Wonder.
3. Incorporate alliances and irc into the main forum and give trade bonuses to alliances which have economic pacts signed with one another for their members to trade with one another.
4. If there must be a bloc, make it have a purpose; aka, x bloc is for the Black Team and all of its included alliances must be Black and kick any alliance that isn't Black off of the team.
5. Your Nation Link: http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=391794 Your Nation Resources: Fish / Wheat Name of Desired Trade Circle: Anyting
6. I have Wheat and Fish. I need anything. ANY THING.
7. +10 for thread title. I like your swagger and sass. We should have drinks sometime.
8. Good advice Al, admittedly, I'm still in shock. I feel like Seth Rogan in the movie Knocked Up haha. Thanks guys!
9. Hi Schatt, Mason, Genghis, Legend and all the rest in former UNSC, now GUN, NADC, GLOF, and any I've left out. How are things>? 2.5 hours ago a nurse just informed my gf and I that we we're pregnant. <<< I've had 2 jo**ts and 2 beers since then. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
10. UNSC operations have been facilitated by the finest company of professional and steadfast soldiers I have ever known. This Corps has been a sight and experience to behold. Thank you, gentlemen. o7 Feet first.
11.
THIS THREAD NOW HAS A GAG ORDER. NO GGA MEMBERS CAN POST IN IT!!!
Well said. I wonder how many are left to get the gist of that though.
12. Found our fifth; http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=78829 Ruler: Skadison Alliance: NV He has Aluminum and Sugar. The only thing left that we need is Water and Uranium. Can we adjust the topic title to reflect that? Might help us. Skadison is expecting to receive trade offers and is prepared to accept.
13. Perhaps unification amongst the various Orders should be considered after this is said and done.
14. People don't change as often as we would like Schatt. It was only a matter of time before Pacifica looked for revenge and it was also only a matter of time before the Unjust Path wanted to take its swipe. Such is the way of this world.
15. Best of luck on the battlefield wF. o7 I salute you.
16. I wanted to do the same thing. In fact, I did something similar once. However, I did it because I wasn't comfortable finding my own way. When you know what you want it is fairly easy to enjoy this place; don't compromise with it or let yourself get drawn in to your patterns. Martyrdom does not work well here; witness the Viridicide, Walford, and countless other attempts at it. It'll get commented on by those who remember you, lamented by others who hold similar views and wish for change, than largely forgotten about as memory fades with time. While you're gone, Bob will still turn and events will continue to unfold. Some of those events, I'm sure you'll have wished you would have been around to see them. My advice (as unsolicited as it is) if I may be so bold is to find a theme that really links to you, get creative, make new friends, and disassociate yourself from the negative. Seek the positives my friend!
17.
I am the Bad for those that have a real idea of what I have done for many years on Bob you are aware most of my work is not for public disclosure. It also should not come as a surprise to very many that I have had a part in a large variety of black operations over the years. I have never been exposed nor has anyone who has ever worked for me. That is because their are smart ways to do things or stupid ways to do things. VE chose the stupid way. Lets look at where they made their mistakes. VE allowed an outsider to set Polar up for them. An outsider that does not like them and that was just as likely setting them up. VE rushed into a war that is going to see both Polar and VE damaged and VE has come out looking like aggressive idiots. If VE was going to trust Lennox to set Polar up they should have been more cautious about it. Once Lennox sent the screen shots and Polar came to VE to let them know he had, VE should have backed out of the op and looked for another chance later. Instead VE's leadership foolishly panicked and went to war. Trusting Lennox was mistake number one, going to war when the set up went balls up was mistake number two. Lets face it Polar has bad blood from the last couple of wars. If VE had set them up proper they would be basking in poplar opinion and not now have people lining up on the other side that would not have been their. Trusting an outsider that does not like you and then rushing into a war with no idea what you are doing exposes some serious failures in VE leadership. They should have backed off when it was clear Polar was not going play along and instead expose the entire fiasco. VE then could have tried again later with a more trusted agent or have waited for another way to spark the conflict. The question that has to be asked is why did VE allow this public face palm to happen? Did they some how think peoples dislike of Polar would make people blind to the fact that the CB was bogus and that they had poorly tried to set Polar up? Did they think they had more support then in reality they do? Lets face it this done correctly would have made Polar look bad and VE good. Instead the exact opposite has occurred. Who in VE's gov would allow such foolish choices to be made? In conclusion if your going to set somebody up do it right. Doing it the VE way just makes you look like an idiot.
I've always respected you because you tell it like it is (when your not doing the backroom stuff haha). You've provided an excellent flow of reasoning and the sentence I've highlighted basically sums up my feelings about this engagement. I'm selfishly happy about how much discussion has been generated because of their actions since its entertaining.
18.
That's what Ray seems to be suggesting. I thought lost left because he wasn't respected enough for his fancies, in addition to listening to people whine about evil government, but I never spoke with that lot. There is no honor in making mistakes, but the greatest dishonor, is not to learn from them. There's no honor in NAACs weakness and inability to live, son, nor there's any honor in our disbandment, but there's honor in learning from our mistakes, the evolution of our decision making processes, the reform, and all the progress. There are nations that Viridia considers her core member states, regardless of circumstances, or the ruling body's ability to fulfill it's duties. I'll get over ourselves when the world ends, and everyone is dead.
Actually, I respect your response. I don't completely agree with your point about NAAC but good luck on the battlefield. Kid.
19. This is like GW3 all over again. I was hoping for GW2 but this will due. Thanks!
20.
Just took a look at your nation. 315 days old, 6999.99 infra, 650 tech, 6 unused aid slots and 0 casualties. I'm guessing this isn't your first nation since you seem to know so much about Viridian history. When did you quit? I'm betting it was before you learned how to do a tech deal.
Yeah, I got bored than quit; VE quit because it got a bloody nose. When I came back I tried something new. When you came back you "reformed" and played the perpetual victim. How many times has Pacifica quit? Polaris? FAN? GATO? Legion? Fark? IRON? ODN? Wait.. where's NAAC??? That's right, they died with respect and honor. That's why you'll never be in the same league as the others Bill, VE has always ridden on the coattails of others and the only people who believe you have principles are, well, you. Get over yourself.
21.
i didn't foresee someone from MCXA government going rogue in the middle of their term just to ghost another alliance and cause a stir in a "this is how i quit" moment of tiny-balled-fist rage. but it doesn't surprise me that you plan on rerolling already. spare yourself from responding to me; it's refreshing to see you leave MCXA, considering several people left because of your utter mockery of intellect when people tried to explain anything to you.
You sound like an extremely sour individual. I laughed.
22.
Why is it a bad idea? Give us some concrete reasons why it's never a good idea for an alliance to reform. Heck, here are the relevant dates if it helps your argument - VE founded June 12, 2006 VE disbanded May 25, 2007 VE reforms September 17, 2007 January 2011 - Over three years since [s]reformation[/s] you quit.
Fixed.
