1. Well I had a little fun in the 2-3 days of battle against the 1 person I was able to fight.

If you are looking for an alliance to help your nation achieve economic superiority, military strength and the camaraderie which comes with being a part of the greatest community on Planet Bob, then look no further! Shangri-La is one of the fastest and growing alliances on CyberNations (Otherwise known as DigiTerra), founded on October 12th, 2012. Protection We take pride in our theme of being a paradise for all who call Shangri-La home. Shangri-La guarantees it's members protection and rapid response in the case of wrongdoings by outside forces. If an outside entity attacks a member of Shangri-La, the government will do its best to secure a peaceful resolution and any reparations warranted by the assault. Foreign Aid and Economic Growth Shangri-La puts emphasis on helping its new members grow and become prosperous. You will have the ability to participate in tech deals to benefit your nation no matter whether you are buying or selling the tech. Politics The government of Shangri-La is democratic. All government positions are elected. This allows for eager members to advance themselves and campaign for positions in hopes that they win and can better the alliance. If your campaign is unsuccessful, we also employ the use of Deputies. Each Steward appoints their own deputies to help advance specific goals that they are aiming to achieve during their term. War We do our best to maintain peaceful relations with other alliances, but there are times in which war is necessary. We fight with honor. We pride ourselves as being a tight knit community which doesn't leave other members out to dry. We will always stand up for another when wronged, and we will always be there for our allies. In a day and age where alliances will scramble to cancel a treaty with (or sometimes completely ignore said treaty) and ally to avoid a war, we will not. Ascending to Paradise You are still here? Hopefully this it means you are interested in applying. If so, please go ahead and switch your alliance affiliation to "Shangri-La Applicant" and head over to our forums HERE
 3.
Why wouldnt we want to roll nor? I can only speak for myself here no one else. 1) Nor hasnt done anything to me. 2) Nor is tied to a number of my allies allies. 3) Theres no reason to. I will point out the conversation of this thread has now moved from "CnG had secret plans to roll NoR" to "Why wouldn't CnG agree to roll NoR?"
No. thanx to Rush we know there was some plan/promise/discussion to attack NoR via INT eventually. Now I'm asking, why couldn't that be done in a way to help LSF (your friend's oldest friend) if either way you're gonna lose.
 4. So Rush said numerous times, next war when INT would most likely get to hit NoR would be a losing war. And Ogaden's SS shows Os saying going in for LSF wouldnt result in a winning war. Well since the outcome seems of both to be leading to the same place, a losing war, why wouldn't CnG want INT to do the latter & save some PR by helping their oldest friend who got in over their head?
 5.
Now that a) currently out of government and b) LSF and Int are no longer allied, I feel like I can freely say I am glad Int and LSF are no longer allied. LSF, you are a horrible alliance. You've displayed a level of incompetence not seen around these parts since Peggy Sue ran UPN, or when GGA grew fat on Pacifica's teat. I am truly disappointed that NoR did not disband you out of pity. You have brought all of this down upon yourself. You have seen your own alliance sacked, savaged and burned to the ground. Not only that, you have allowed your (now former) ally to suffer public condemnation while you, and you alone, are to blame. Your pride, your stupidity and your arrogance are what caused this. Int are not at fault for you immolating yourselves. Take some responsibility for your actions.
"I will disregard everything said here in favor of my bias beliefs"
 6.
Why are you linking posts made in the apology thread? Did they ask on IRC? Did they ask in a direct message via forums or game? Yes, that is also their fault for not contacting government members from IRON to inform them the time needed to come to a conclusion through their government process.
Keep up. I already conceded that to you. I was referring to your statement that the apology was "alliance approved".
 7.
Once again I say this, it was not IRON's job to read LSF's charter and see how long they needed for a vote to occur. IRON gave them a deadline, and they could have then stated that their charter didn't allow for that, which in turn would force IRON to give them more time. Not hard... nonetheless they still ignored the time limit given and spat in our face with an alliance approved apology which was minutes late and not just coincidental. They made it late to prove a point that they don't care, which again was a F U.
http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=111638&view=findpost&p=2989305 http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=111638&view=findpost&p=2989350 http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=111638&view=findpost&p=2990246 http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=111638&view=findpost&p=2990492 You were saying?? Thats 3 LSF members. Now put that with the statement earlier that the number of votes could have been counted on 1 hand with fingers to spare. And it doesnt look like anyone voted for this. Assumption yes, but the point is you cant honestly say this was the LSF's choice this with only ~5 of 40+ votes. But you are right, its their fault for not requesting more time.
 8.
i. The minimum time period before a quorum can be enacted on a vote to amend the Charter or Constitution of the Libertarian Socialist Federation is 12 hours. Thanks for playing~ Also, I don't think my alliance has followed our constitution in a while if ever to the letter. Everything can be expedited or moved up based on the situation.
Idk what quorum is, but the part that keeps catching my attention is bolded. When did this become them needing time to amend their charter? Again Idk what quorum is. I might better understand in context, but it clearly states that it is for changing their charter, not making alliance decisions
 9.
Have you bothered to read the thread? http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=111667&st=240&p=2990580&#entry2990580
Congrats it takes them ~48hrs just to accept your demands. Yet you give them 24hrs to make a decision on an appropriate apology, reps & expulsion of a member(including immediate forum demask apparently.) What happen to that reasonable nature you quoted about?
If your internal governance sucks on simplest of tasks, its your problem. Don't commit the crime if you can't do the time. Interestingly, LSF delivers when aid needs passing to rogues. Its all innocent, fun and jokes until someone calls your bluff.
Havent they already stated that was planned from the beginning? In other words, they voted on & sanctioned that rogue attack on NoR. So the incidents have no relevance together other than them ending in war.
 10.
So in other words you never wanted to publicly mock IRON, only in the safety and privacy of your home. Now i just feel silly, I apologize for my actions, had I known you were only going to talk about me behind my back and not to my face I never would have attacked you. That aside the time was an ultimatum from IRON to LSF to correct their mistakes. We weren't asking nicely, we were telling LSF what needed to be done for their mistakes to be forgiven in our eyes. instead of using this opportunity LSF made a mocking apology clearly stating they had no intention of owning up to their mistakes. This war was not caused by the mock apology, this war was caused by the recklessness of LSF's nation's actions.
Oh so you weren't being generous like previous stated by IRON members. It was basically "Do WHAT we say, WHEN we say do it, and HOW we want you to do it! Or we attack."
-snip-....instead of using this opportunity LSF made a mocking apology clearly stating they had no intention of owning up to their mistakes. This war was not caused by the mock apology, this war was caused by the recklessness of LSF's nation's actions.
So one "normal"(normal in the sense of, unless a vote is taken nobody has the authority to speak for the LSF as a whole) member with less than 5 days seniority, makes a mocking apology which he himself voted against. Next it was prematurely posted by an unaware second "normal" member when a 24hr deadline suddenly popped up. Finally the post is frowned upon by LSF members, one being the writer of the "apology". Yet all of this is showing LSF's intention of not owning up to another member's actions. Am I understanding your post right?
 11.
"it was just a joke!" isn't a very effective go to excuse fyi
Didnt say use it as an excuse. Just giving hypothetical solutions to the problem, outside of a war. Communication was attempted. Instead of ignoring, a simple "Was Sabcat's post LSF's official apology?" could have been asked. If they answered yes, then attack because of the hidden message. If they say no, then request an immediate edit/repost of an official apology. I mean you were willing to extend deadlines, but not willing to ask one simple question to get clarification on the subject.
 12.
The "clearly incapable of governing its own members" statement goes much deeper than just this. Its stated in regard to not being able to keep your nations from spying, impersonating government officials, inciting war, and well, these two quotes help my point I do believe: Seeing as they are supposed to be an apology from LSF and the one posting and representing LSF doesn't even know what is happening!? It sounds like you have some internal problems to take care of. But I'm sure you have already realized just how $%&@ed up your "internal process" you call government is, unless war and public humiliation is part of your process in which case I should applaud you for a most excellent job in accomplishing both of those.
All this proves is that IRON didnt give them enough time to go through the proper democratic process, so Sabcat was forced to go on their forums last minute & grab the first thing he saw related to the subject. Considering that out of the few people that did get to vote, even Hereno the co-writer, voted against it. That to me says it was just a "joke apology" not meant for outside eyes. Easily fixed with a conversation since both parties agree an attempt at communicating was made (doesnt matter when, the point is it was attempted & ignored by your govt) and maybe even a raise in reps, but I guess war is more fun.
 13. Our blocks will never overstack!! o/ Tetris
 14.
Have you even bothered to talk to UMSC about this? Perhaps you should.
nope just been derping all day. But I guess I can try that now, thanks the suggestion.
 15.
Ah, no, that just acknowledges that a nation on the AA attacked a nation on the Tetris AA. That does not prove the ghost FACT wrong. I know it was a fact because I was watching the nation.
Oh Im sorry you're right. Because a ghost would definitely fall under their membership tech raiding rules. Causing them to make a change to them.
 16. Can this end now?? 1.) USMC already admitted he couldve worded the OP better. It wasnt a disbandment, but an offer to help them find an AA with a stable govt. Even if that meant they chose to go back to PROIS & find a new leader. 2.) We stopped attacks like 8+ pages ago, when it was brought to our attention that they tried to contact us. Also the rogue theory was generously proven wrong earlier with a quote from their wiki, which was updated by their leader some time between us reading it, then contacting them & us attacking them. Obviously we couldve read it again before our attack but we didnt. Oh and, of course everyone seems to have skipped right over this quote
As of 5/22/12, tech raiding has become illegal in PROIS. This is because a nation of the PROIS attacked a nation in Tetris. Relations with Tetris and the Prois are pending. A resolution is coming soon.
17.
In a less static and calcified world i might condemn Tetris on being foolish and/or unreasonable. But I just can't. Because I like most of you know exactly why they are doing this. They are very bored and want some war to liven things up. My only objection is that it is quite unfair that only they get to have fun. So I issue this plea. Someone please defend the poor innocent defenseless newbies in the Peoples Republic of Independent States so that this war can break open far and wide and the rest of us can have some fun too.
What fun?? We have like 20 nations in range. Which are all less than 2-3 months old.
 18. What is this?!??! I dont like change!!! D: In other news, yay us!
