1. I was around 2007-2010, part of NAAC, Browncoats, Browncoats 2.0, The Intelligentsia, etc. I've been curious if anyone from back then is still around. I've gotten a few messages from like 2016 and such from people who remembered me but I'm not sure if any of them are still around.
 2.
Ohhhhh, he lives! You left me standing here holding this treaty you know!
What treaty? D: I'm so old I can't even remember what I had for breakfast this morning. Did I even have breakfast?
 3. You're still a young'in in my eye Schattenmann. Darn whippersnappers.
 4. OOC: Man it has been a very long time since I've been on these forums... I'm talking at least a year and a half by my estimations... IC: A very old man with long, white, unkempt hair walks up to an old brown podium to speak. He is wearing an extremely ragged, used, brown coat which has various patches on it. Underneath this coat he is wearing a bright new white and blue uniform with the National Alliance of Arctic Countries flags on it, new and old, with its various mascots placed on the collar. He takes out an old and dented silver flask and takes a small drink from it, putting it carefully away in his inside coat pocket. He mumbles under his breath a bit about "being woken up" and "newfangled conferences" before clearing his voice to speak to the audience that gathered primarily for Ronin's announcement. Friends, family members, alliance mates, old acquaintances, enemies, frenemies and what-have-yous all around this, the world we call Planet Bob. Greetings. For those of you who don't know... my name is Asriel Belacqua. First, a small note, though very important: I do not speak for the [defunct] National Alliance of Arctic Countries. I don't think anyone does anymore, though if anyone did it would probably be our dear Lord Chozo as he has been under the [defunct] Alliance Affiliation since before the National Alliance of Arctic Countries disbanded many many years ago. So those of you who love to lawyer, which I know there's about 500 million of you around here somewhere, forget it. I'm making your lawyering nonsense null right now. Period. Asriel gets a bit of a silly grin on his face with this last statement, knowing full well that most people don't care who he is or what he has to say anyway, since he's just some crazy old man, and continues with his ramblings... I would like to publicly thank Airme of the grand alliance of Ronin, and the entire alliance of Ronin for making this statement. Many people have doubts as to whether or not Ronin will do much, but I have no doubt they will do everything they can, considering this group under the same banner as I, is only a few people. Recently, a good friend of mine by the name of Atoms has passed on from this world and gone on to some other place. Probably grander, as that is his way, but I won't know for some time I imagine. His passing put a new perspective on the life I lead here, on Planet Bob. Many of my friends are now gone... deceased or maybe put on a spaceship somewhere... who knows, but they are gone nonetheless, and they're gone forever. So the few friends I have left, even those I know little about, are extremely valuable to me. Ronin has become on of them. They know almost nothing about me, and I them, but if they need my help with anything, I just want to tell them, partially because of this bond I have and partially because of their kindness to my mates in the [defunct] N.A.A.C., that all they need to do is ask for help, and I will do my best to aid them as best I can. I will have to warn Ronin though, my aid may not be as good or timely as one would wish... I am old after all, and spend most of my days asleep. Have a good day everyone.
 5. (black = OOC, blue: IC) Hi nintenderek... I see you. A very old and wrinkly man who has very few hairs left on his head, walks with a cane and a limp, and can hardly see through the wrinkles and pinched eyes slowly walks up to Sandler. He is wearing a familiar old brown duster, and still has that flask of rum that he drinks out of on occasion. Sandler, my good friend, it has been a long time indeed. You have pulled me out of my shell and my solitude to come back into the world, if only for a minute. I have not seen the world in so very, very long. The last thing I truly remember is the fall of NPO, and our great inter-'Coat war with the 57th Overlanders. It seems much has changed, and I don't care to come back to civilization right yet. Asriel takes a drink, a breath, and a little rest before continuing... That said, I am glad to see that you have come so far since I last saw you so many months ago. I admit, I was not the most active, nor caring leader, but I am glad to see that you have made something of my insane rants. You have come far in one year, and I look forward to seeing what you do in the next year, and by the time you are as old as I, maybe you'll have done something greater than even Ivan, Moo, Grub, or the like. Who knows. As for me, since you sent a letter earlier about it.. I might join you and yours someday, and then our roles would be reversed, but for now, I think that this little world I have built myself in the middle of nowhere is much more comfortable. Asriel coughs roughly for a few seconds Friend, and I am glad to call you that, I wish you well on this grand occasion. It's not every day a nation turns 1 year old, and you've done a gorram fine job of showing many of us how it's done properly. However, there is one thing you are missing... Asriel calls in one of his servants, whispers in his ear and watches him run off quickly. After a minute or so his servant returns with a caravan following behind him. The caravan opens up and reveals barrel upon barrel of rum, whiskey, beer, wine, coffee, tea, and all sorts of other assorted alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Asriel then hugs the young leader and slowly pads away. Congrats mate. You've earned it.
 6. To those who say it's taxation without representation, HELLO! ANYONE THERE?!?! YOU GET THE SAME DAMN VOTE THAT I DO TOWARDS MEMBERS OF CONGRESS! THERE'S YOUR REPRESENTATION! QUIT YOUR !@#$%*ING. Now that I've settled that: All the republicans throwing bricks through congressmen's windows, calling them !@#$%*S (yes, !@#$%*s), "Oh no I didn't!," and saying that they are going to KILL THE PRESIDENT (yes, that has been said), goes past all my tolerance for freedom of speech, it's a threat on someone's life. Just saying. I support this bill, and so do a majority of americans who even hold an opinion on it (looked at recent polls).
 7.
As for the bit about it not being a blood feud, you're wrong there as well. Ask Asriel to share some of the logs that Veneke, Lord Panda, and myself had with him. I'm sure you'll see that you are not as right as you believe. My only regret is not apologising to Asriel sooner after I treated him like some sort of traitor for bringing back Browncoats.
Sadly, the only remaining logs I have of those days are the ones of you saying those to me, however, I do remember the others quite vividly. Only reason I have yours is I posted them on our forums, and not the others, and have since deleted my cache of those conversations from 57th members. Funny how that works... The only one you didn't delete is the only one that ends up becoming friends with ye again.
 8. As much as I love to see people be given a way out of the war, I have one thing to say: "Let's all go into peace mode, while in anarchy, already inept at building my nation (probably), realize we can't pay any bills worth a !@#$, try to fix the problem, get ZI'd for breaking terms or delete the nation." I get that you guys are trying to give these guys a way out of the war, but there is no way to justify this as "Benevolent" or a "good" thing in any way. One of our alliance-mates recently got raided by another nation that was aligned. I messaged the attacker telling him to stop, and the leader of the alliance the attacker is in, informing him of the situation. I asked nothing of either of them. No reps., no apology, just a cease fire and peace. THAT is benevolence. Asking them to either destroy their nations in war, destroy their nations in peace, or destroy their nations in violation of peace is not a term at all, nor is it benevolence. I can understand not wanting aid to be sent. Yeah. But killing their nation? No.
 9.
I know that this is a lot of work and all of us are greaty appreciative of it. But I was wondering if you would be able to show us the total NS for each side as a whole as well as the individual alliances'.
You might want to read his posts again... They are there.
 10.
Most intelligent post related to this war I have ever seen.
I'm going to agree with you, but because I really want to unleash my awesome logic upon him as well.....
There's no need to refer to Citadel. Lol.
Why not? A lot of people see TOP, they think of groups TOP is in, including Citadel, which is considered a high treaty as well (MDP or above).
The details don't really matter at this point.
Details matter in politics. NPO attacking before releasing a DoW by a significant amount of time? Yeah, that was noticed. ODN's ability to stay out of war? Yeah, that was noticed, and they've been getting a bad rep for it for years. Etc etc.
The thing that does matter is we shall fight.
Considering you declared pre-emptively, I really hope you will. To do otherwise would be utterly retarded since... you know... you STARTED the war. Just saying.
C&G(who i can respect) and the lame toadies(who I don't respect) they bring along will fight as well.
Again, I sincerely hope they will, considering their track record (of actually fighting).
But they fight due to numerical advantage;
Repeating the other post on this: No, they fight because you attacked them. Just saying. You started the war with a disadvantage. Are they going to use it to their advantage? Dur, of course they are.
we fight due to courage, honour, brevity.
I'm going to have to say that preemptive strikes have almost always been considered cowardly. Was it preemptive? Yeah. No matter how you spin it, you jumped into the war before they did anything to your side. Could there have been reasonable evidence to say they were going to jump in? Sure, and attacking them first is a good strategy, however, it's still a preemptive strike, which, have typically been considered cowardly, dishonorable, etc. Also, just one last note, I don't think brevity means what you think it means. Brevity: "the use of brief expressions; the attribute of being brief or fleeting."
Have a good war gentlemen.
You too.
 11. Just because some people do not like looking at raw data, I decided to make a graph. No guarantees on how long I'll actually keep up making graphs, but if I do, it'll be based on the data in the OP. Anyway, here's what I've got so far: This is Combined strength sides, and the total amount of strength in the war. This is TOP's side (really, come up with an actual name guys... Also, yes, I know a lot of the alliances are smashed in one place, if you want a better graph, MAKE YOUR OWN, kthx). CnG's side (again, better name pl0x. Same note as above with the smashed lines). Edit: Yes, I DO realize that some alliance names on the CnG graph got cut off, I will be fixing this in the next graph to come out (this is just a rough draft/preview). That graph will probably be out on day 5 to give everyone a better view of the bigger picture.
 12. Schattenmann, you have my number, and know how to dial a phone. Call us if you need us as well friend. To Nemesis: We may not be your allies on paper yet, but we do support you, know that forever. This is not about the larger conflict, this is about friendship to us 'coats, and you have given us that.
 13. Thanks for all those who worked hard on this to get it done... Kinda mad it happened in the middle of a war, though it always seems to work like that, but, regardless, updates are always fun and normally good, so, I'm looking forward to all the new things.
 14. Not so true Nythera, people visit your profile. Just saying. :P

 15. Nice to know someone has actually heard of us. Just thought I'd mention that.
 16. Aren't you allied to \m/ at all... you know... the people who got attacked? Yeah, I looked back to make sure I was getting my facts straight and was like... *CRAP! I JUST LOOKED LIKE A TOTAL RETARD.* My apologies to you trace.
 17. I doubt he thinks he has the ability to do that. Especially since he's gone through an alliance disbandment, and an alliance refusing to disband. As a matter of fact, I'm sure the guy has more experience with alliances and the disbanding aspect of them than you do.
 18. He said he had no intention of disbanding you guys... right here: "no alliances will be disbanded as a result of our war and peace is extremely simple to obtain. " Try again. That said, AlmightyGrub, you probably don't know me, you have no reason to, but all I can say is, I'm sad to see it come to this. I am glad that you are standing up for what you believe in though. Even if it isn't against all offending alliances, which disappoints me, however, you are doing more than most people do, and that's backing up your words with your guns. For that I respect you. To both sides: Fight honourably, don't be jerks, idiots, or what-have-you, and remember that both alliance's actions and words brought them here today.
 19. Not a big fan of you really (OOC: no offense to you or your character is meant by that, it's more of a joke than anything), but the reference here was pretty good. Why not add on top of that 2 weeks of mandatory war eh?
 20. I sent 2 soldiers to a LoSS nation recently as "escorts" (hookers) to thank them for the recent war... does that count? Also, I imagine that they aren't sent that often, however I could see the use of sending 2K soldiers to a smaller nation while sending them 3mil (or whatever cash you have on hand) in aid. It'd make buying those 2K soldiers much easier for that nation (and 2K soldiers for a small nation would definitely be enough to do a bit of damage on another small nation).
