  1. I may not have always liked TPF, but I have to give it to you in this. Beautiful post. Good luck in your wars, sad to see this happen.
  2. I don't feel like quoting all the relevant posts but my thoughts: Being in NSO for part of the fight against meth-heads and the entirety of the war with Kaskus: determined micros can be a serious pain. The methheads were less-so because Kashmir and others took most of their war slots, but Kaskus was the most annoying thing ever for a long time. If nothing else, you can and probably are causing strife by being active on the OWF and IRC while also fighting noobs. I'm not saying you'll ever cause enough damage or emotional scarring to "win" or even achieve white peace. You may even end up on a PZI list or two. But you will cause headaches for people and I'm sure that you didn't have that much of a larger goal here to begin with.
  3. This makes me glad. Our visions were misaligned and perhaps a protectorate was the wrong direction to go with you. Good luck in your future endeavours.
  4. Bleu Balls War Petro War Die Another Day war Finally War Anything that can convey the theme of either being Petro's fault or that this has been in the works for almost a year and took forever to actually happen.
  5. If this thread gets to 48 pages, Avakael will post Chaucey's WC and we can start the war.
  6. I feel like anyone who regularly plays video games, especially nation sims, should understand the impact that attacking unaligned or micro nations has on the population. I can't be the only one who has joined multiple other games and been immediately attacked? Anyone else never log in again after not given a real chance to join the community? There will always, generally, be exceptions who persevere in spite of immediate hardship but given the numbers our world is facing I think it's more important to appeal to the majority rather than the minorities, now more than ever.
  7. It says I can't create more teams without being a VIP. :( Very lame.
  8. Sorry, wanted to keep the OP short. This is a team manager simulator type deal. So each person is the manager of a team, rather than a player on a team.
  9. I've been playing in online soccer leagues within certain alliances, and I'm running an internal league for Polaris. I thought it might be interesting to create an international league for all of CN to join in on. Use this link to join the league: http://www.xperteleven.com/?lid=366429 It takes 3 seconds to register everything, it's entirely free, and it might be fun if we can get a good group going. We can do a pool for a tech prize for 1st place if y'all want. Post here with your team name so I can approve you in the league. I'll keep this OP updated with a cool table once we get going.
  10. This directly relates to conversations I've had with YYM in the past. I love to be right.
  11. Congratulations on your ascendance. Always sad to see active players disappear though.
  12. Everyone knows that destroying infra is the only worthwhile spy ops.
  13. Sorry if that bloc still exists, but you weren't/aren't politically relevant enough to warrant exclusivity of the phrase. This entry is going to be about Polaris, XX members and former members, ex-SF, and that general sphere of influence that has maintained, by choice or force, a certain isolation from the main grouping that we would consider the treaty web. I wanted to discuss the formulaic use of the "Usual Suspects" as a political and economic tool of warfare against certain undesirable members within the popular coalition. How many times are people going to repeatedly curbstomp Polaris, XX, and ex-SF before they realize that people such as Pacifica, MK, TOP, Umbrella, and others are throwing peripheral allies against an isolated piece of the treaty sphere in order to politically weaken ties between desirable allies and undesirable members of the coalition, or in order to keep certain peripheral alliances from growing enough to be a statistical threat. How many times will the non-leader alliances be content to "wait until after this next war" and resign to the fact that "the targets are written in stone."? I won't speculate on which specific alliance(s) are to blame for the manipulation of the "coalition" at-large, nor will I bother listing the non-leader alliances, as I would enjoy being able to bump this in the inevitable future just to demonstrate the literal formula that certain groups use to ensure their own dominance at the expense of every single periphery group in CN.
  14. Maybe that's what needs to happen to bring some life back into our world. More wars = Less large nations = less of an ability to grow to such heights = less emotional investment = less pixel hugging = more wars? We just need the first domino to fall, and to fall on someone other than the usual suspects (XX, former SF, and co.).
  15. congrats on retirement and congrats on the promotion lads
  16. This conversation has gone on for a month yet only has 17 pages and most of it is Junka-talk. Where is the cane-waving of yesteryear...
  17. I wonder if this is another joke bloc or if this one is srs.
