Now, I just get a kick out of it because I like when people reference past CN historical threads. Is it a bit of a barb against Legion? Yeah. It's clear by the way that they brand former members as outcasts and hold grudges against nations for years that the pot is calling the kettle black here. I can honestly say that I, personally, applaud MK for their reaction to the banning of diplomats. While their actions may have been in poor diplomatic taste, the NPO did not weigh their responses correctly and made a poor judgment. This final rebuttal shows incredibly poor judgment once again. For shame, NPO.

The general incompetence of The Legion from GWII to GWIII. Most notably, the Christmas peace. It was a good gesture in theory, and a good idea to try and prevent war in what is a bad time in the real world, but looking back, it gets stupider and stupider every time.

I've seen people curbstomped for questionable CBs. I've never seen an ally lie to their ally, scare the living !@#$ out of them, lead them to run scared, and then do nothing because it was all some sick practical joke. There may not be any metarules for diplomacy or any real code of decency here, but if this happened to you, you would be pissed. Valhalla is probably lying to you just as you did to them. I expect a cancellation within days - you deserve it after this.

I have been on Planet Bob for 3 and a half years, and very few times could I say I've been this disgusted before, and usually not for a joke, but for very serious things - forum hackings, serious OOC attacks, the /b/pocalypse. This is different, though. This truly crosses so many lines of conduct, ethics, and just common curtesy to your fellow CNers. This is the first time I have seen an alliance scare the living crap out of another alliance for its life using their mutual ally. The fact of the matter is, not even NPO in its heydey would've pulled something like this, and you all know this. This is one of the sickest moves I have seen in a long, long time. Fabricate logs. Get the mutual ally to post a fake treaty cancellation and ask about it. Threaten the other alliance and send them into mass peace mode. I thought far better of GOONS and Kronos especially before this. Now, I'm disgusted by them. GOD, GOONS, SuperFriends, C&G, when you start seeing your allies slowly move away from you after events like this, you should remember the fate of NPO and their allies before you and how you (SuperFriends especially) abandoned them. Things like this have a tendency to come back and bite you in the $@! unless you decide to run a curbstomp every 2-3 months to keep your enemies down. You may think it's funny now and think you can gloat and mock Valhalla and their allies and even non-allies who defend them (including people who are, in fact, more closely allied to you than them), but realize that as you do that, you alienate even your allies and you start the beginning of the end for this sort of reign of terror. Yes, terror. This isn't a joke, it's an act of terrorism - you scared Valhalla so much that they believed they were going to not just be hit hard, but decimated. I don't like Valhalla, beyond a few members, but today, I feel for them, because they have just suffered perhaps the most disgusting, inhumane joke that I have ever seen in CN. At the hands of "allies." One word to describe what this was: Low. If the tables had been turned, you had been on the weaker side, and you had been the victim, you know that you wouldn't be taking it well and laughing about it.

Botha, I'd be interested in joining in this league for the next season, if it's at all possible. It's been a while since I've been on X11 and I'm trying to get back into the groove of it with a pretty godawful team in an official league for now.
