While I am in no way a member of the NG government, this is how I see it. Meth stated that he could not pay back the $30 million and 1000 tech at ZI. I'm not aware of how long NG gave him to pay the $30 mill but the way I see it, Meth could have done tech for aid deals at $4.5 million while sitting at zero tech and buy an enormous amount to both sell to his dealers and give to NG as reps. The extra cash he pockets goes to building infra and paying hills. And I'm sure that the long relationship Meth has built with trade partners like Sigrun, he could have just asked for an aid package without repayment. So when he complained about not being able to get out of bill lock, the idea of selling off some wonders came up to which he flatly refused to do. So his counter offer was to sell tech to us. Which means that: 1) We let the nuclear rogue who attacked us get away without paying anything 2) We help him make money to rebuild and be a pain in the ass for someone else later So he refused every attempt to repay reps by more or less playing the victim card while at the same time refusing to sell off wonder he could rebuy later to help his situation.

On 8-8-2011, Methrage attacked several members of NG without provocation including several who didn't know or care about whatever pissing match Methrage was in with another NG member. On that day, Methrage had a NATION STRENGTH of 21000. On 8-17, after fighting several Non Grata nations, Methrage had a NATION STRENGTH of 2700. Looks to me like Non Grata did their business with rather well.
